Details: (Zyxis has full backstory.) Ahara, as is normal for her species, is tall and almost monolithic in build. Despite this, her youth is apparent in her silver eyes and face, which still bear the awkwardness of adolescence. Ahara keeps her crimson hair styled in a small, plain mohawk, and her skin is a pale peach. As a rule, she’s cheerful, friendly and a pleasure to be around, her chipper attitude uplifting the spirits of everyone around her. However, Ahara is deadly serious during combat, a bit of disconcertingly uncharacteristic cold rage emerging whenever she fights for her life.

Details:
Persephone Ariatta, a kitsune girl who was boring into a strange familial situation, was born by a mother who did not mate with any particular male. Ever since she was born it was difficult for her mother to support her, as it was not always her wish to leave her child while she indulged in the pool of men awaiting her affections. Persephone would never cry when her mother was gone, as she could always sense her nearby. She was always quite quiet and she was quite a beautiful baby, born with wonderful silver tails. However, there was an oddity about her that stunned most who came to see her. She had different colored hair on her head, which was black. Some described her short hair when she was just born as a strange sort of crown, blessing her with the beauty, and rarity, of two colors. Her mother, whose name was Veryx, named her daughter Persephone as she had heard an old tale from a traveler from another of the realms that existed and wanted her daughter to be a queen, just as the Persephone from the story and these comments from onlookers of the baby affirmed what she wished for her daughter. However, her mother did not realize just how true that name was as her daughter began to grow. Even from a young age, Persephone was quite beautiful. Her mother capitalized on this and made her daughter quite the lovely side show for her main attraction.
Her mother would entertain men in private, as Persephone would distract the rest of the men who would await their turn with her mother. It was... Quite odd for such a little one, but she did not know any better. This was something her mother wished and it was something she would see through with her mother because she loved her more than anything. Persephone kept this routine for a long time, before she began to realize that there were never any other people around her age in her life. There were only ever men after her mother in their home, and there were only ever men everywhere. Where were the other women? Where were the other children? At the age of 13, she ventured away from her mother's home on a day that her mother seemed to be resting instead of 'working'. When she ventured out, she found a number of things she had almost never seen before. Outside, there was a beautiful village and lush greenery all around. Persephone had never ventured out very much before, but she began to realize just how beautiful the outside world was. Why did she never venture out before?

Soon after strolling around for a little while, Persephone realized she was lost. So, she walked toward the nearest building and knocked on the door. A man answered the door, and it was a man she did not recognize. He seemed to be older and held some strange pointy object and a flatter, wider object with a handle. She wondered what they were, so she asked. The man turned out to be a sculptor and Persephone asked for directions back to her home. The man had no idea where she lived, as he did not know where her "home" was. He asked her who her parents were and she answered that she was the daughter of Veryx. The man paused for a moment, almost seeming sad, before inviting the girl into his home. He said he wanted to show her something. As she walked in, there was a manner of messes around the house. It seemed the man lived by himself and he did not seem to go out much by the smell of the place. She said as much, which made the old man reply with a quaint smack to her head. He told her to respect her elders, and she rubbed the side of her head to try and ease the pain of the blow. The sculptor introduced the art of sculpting to the girl, who seemed to pick up the craft quite quickly. She was not good, by any means, but she had fun while doing it.

Soon after she finished a picture of 'art', the old man told her the way home and she went home to her mother. As she ran down the street, she saw all kinds of evil stares from women all around, which made her quite confused. What had she done to deserve those kinds of stares? Was it because she made some art? Oh no. It was because she made some art. In fact, one woman even came up to her and offered her a hand. She looked incredibly sad and Persephone was very confused. Why was she sad? Was it because she had made art? Why was her art making everyone so upset? When she took the woman's hand, she began to speak apologetically to Persephone, apologizing for her mother and her way of living. What was wrong with that? Why was this woman apologizing to her for her mother? She loved her mother.

As this woman began to retract her arm, a hand slapped it down, releasing the grasp on Persephone. Her mother was standing above Persephone, and the apologetic woman began to have an expression of fear and aggression on her face. Persephone's mother quickly pulled her behind her and faced the woman, yelling words that she had only heard from her mother's bedroom. The woman began to move away from Persephone and her mother, as her mother moved her back inside their home.

Her mother sat her down and quickly began to get down to business. Her mother offered Persephone the chance to really help her. At this point, Persephone was reluctant to say yes, as she had just yelled at a woman Persephone had never met. Persephone, however, did say yes. She loved her mother, and anything she could do to help out would be for the best. At least, she thought it would be alright.

Persephone's mother began to pull in a younger clientele when her daughter began to 'work' as well. Her daughter tried to keep it classier on most occasions, singing for the crowd and keeping them intrigued, but once in a while, there would be someone her mother wanted her to meet... And things were never enjoyable for Persephone. The men always wanted her to do strange things, and they all asked for the same thing. They all wanted a massage with her tails. It was really the strangest thing. Persephone, thankfully, had masterful control over her tails and was able to give all types of massage. Her mother was extremely proud of her for being able to give massages that made the customers come crawling back.

And then there came a day when she had just turned 16, when she was asked for an even stranger request. Her mother had told her it was going to be a strange encounter. If she wanted to leave, she could. The man wanted her to touch a very sensitive part of him... It was very strange at first, mostly because it was something so different from herself, but this man's tails felt so rough! Jeez, they seemed like they were made of sandpaper almost! It was painful... And embarrassing... But she never once considered leaving. The embarrassment seemed to drive her to want to do it more, strangely enough. She wondered how many more times she would have to do that. But, it seemed that after she did it, she was given presents from all of her clients. Most seemed to last about 10 minutes before they made this strange noise and then left. After doing this for a little bit, Persephone's mother offered her the chance to do a special kind of helpful task, which was do whatever she wanted for an entire year. Persephone thought this was incredibly strange, as her mother seemed to hold her extra tight on many different occasions. Was something wrong? Were they out of money again? Was she not doing good enough at her job?

Her mother pushed her out of the house and told her to find other things to do in the world for a year. So... Persephone did. She traveled a few villages over and picked up a number of things, including how to be more strategic if she ever came to be in a scuffle, how to mark and track a target, how to expand her magical reserves, and how to create healing salves to help those that are in need of healing.

When this year was over, her mother invited her back into her home and asked her what she had done. Persephone took ages to tell her mother all of the adventures she went on, and how scary it was at first. Then, her mother told her that she couldn't live in this village anymore and that they needed to move elsewhere. Her mother mysteriously suggested that they move to the land of the oni, which Persephone was not opposed to. It certainly wouldn't hurt, would it?

As the wind was howling in the trees, a big figure can be seen walking out the forest; Is a bulky cyclops, covered in fur of the color of the thatch and his mane grows almost until it touches the grass. He walks slowly with the help of a large cane. Behind him several cowbells can be heard, hanging from the necks of a small sheep herd.
When he and his companions leave the forest, he stops. He frowns his only eyebrow... And yells.

Once A village girl, in a country which she does not know the name, she was born to adventurer parents who returned home to settle down but died protecting the village from a bandit attack while she was just baby. Raised by the whole village out of gratitude for her parents, she became the little idol of the village, always smiling, helping everyone and learning from them as well. She took in an abandoned puppy when she was 8 and raised it with the help of the villagers, naming him Koliander, and becoming her best friend, as there were no children even remotely close to her age, being the youngest in the village. One day a messenger arrived saying that a demon king had arrived, and wished to rule this part of the continent, but also saying that a great hero was found, and was currently in the middle of training and finding of his trusted companions. Some were fearful for their lives, but others were calm and even joyful upon hearing that they had a hero, as the coming of the demon king always happened every century or two, and a hero had always defeated him. The months that followed had a couple knights settling in the village as a sort of protection and communication to inform the hero if demons or undead were to come to this village.
There were a few times when a couple of demon and undead had come across the village, only to be destroyed by the knights. There was also a time when a large number of demons and undead were coming to the village but had been destroyed by the hero who had been informed by the knights. She had been saved by the hero when an undead had almost struck her and had the chance to see his fighting prowess afterward. Defeating a large number of enemies in one blow every single time, along with his companions helping him, being quite powerful themselves, and he even had an overwhelming advantage over the commander of the large force, only using a dozen or so blows before defeating him. The amazing sight coupled with him saving her had made her adore him, along with thousands of other girls he had awed, amazed and saved. She then fully believed all the wonderful tales of the hero saving the girls from harm, protecting everyone and defeating the demon king more than ever. A few months later though... the village was totally wiped out by another large force of demons and undead. She had holed up in one of the houses as the knights tried their best to defend them, as she wished and hoped and prayed... that the hero would come and save her and the village again... only for her to be slashed down by the same type of undead that had attempted to strike at her before. She closed her eyes as she hugged Koliander as the weapon struck them both, ending both of their lives. Why was the hero unable to save them? It was because the demon king had released his whole army, and the hero was unable to keep up and fight back, only being able to save some as thousands more were killed by the demon kings army. Some say this generations hero was weaker than the rest, other say this generations demon king was much more powerful and could control bigger and stronger armies. No one would know except for the ones who experienced the previous generations of demon kings and heroes.
The hero and his companions launched a final attack on the demon king, bypassing his armies and focusing on defeating the demon king himself, though that had caused further casualties than before. The fight between the demon king and the hero and his companions had lasted three days and the hero. For the first time ever in a fight between the hero and demon king, had sacrificed his life to defeat him, but... before the demon king was killed, he released all his power and lifeforce to the entire land, creating undead from the casualties. Somewhere... in ruins that were once a village lay a dead body of a little girl, beheaded, and left rotting for what seemed like around a week, and next to her lay a corpse of a dog, with a large cut in its torso, all of its innards spilled out and rotting as well.
A strange power washed over the bodies, as the headless body got up.. stumbling around for bit before reaching up over its neck, only to feel nothing, as it tried searching the room, finding a little girl's head and picking it up, looking at its face, an expression of hope and fear still etched upon the rotting face, as its eyes slowly opened, looking around in confusion, before laying its eyes upon her headless body, with a bit of shock, fear, and confusion. The body then lifted the head up, turning it around placing it atop its neck, and then letting go, only for the head to fall to the ground, making a sound of surprise and pain upon hitting the floor. Atop the neck of the body, some black sparks could be seen trying to ignite, as suddenly a small black flame appeared atop the neck. The body reached down to pick up the head again, this time hugging it to its chest with both arms, the head still looking afraid and confused. While this was all happening, the corpse of the dog had stood up, guts still falling out of it, as suddenly all of its flesh started melting and burning off it body, only for the skeleton to be left, still standing, as two black orbs of light could be seen in both of its eye sockets. The skeletal dog wobbled around with some difficulty, seemingly unused to its new body, as it spots the headless girl hugging her head, and happily running over, jumping up on her body, with its skull meeting her head, as it attempted to lick her face, only for a bony mouth to hit her. The dog noticed as it went down on all fours again, and just shaking its tail and barking in joy.
The head widened it eyes for a moment, recognizing this undead dog, realizing her own predicament, her eyes showing greater worry and fear, but upon hearing the happy barks and shaking tail of the dog, the worry and fear vanished, only to show a sad smile towards the dog. All over the continent, undead were rising from the corpses of villages and town that were destroyed by the demon kings army, the countries in that continent pooled together their armies to destroy the remaining force of the demon kings army and the newly born undead created by the now dead demon king. She and the dog...Koliander used the chaos to escape, seemingly the only ones in her village to have memories of their previous lives, as they escaped the continent. She and Koliander survived together, as they fought monsters and learned more about their new bodies together, moving from place to place, their destination and purpose unknown.
