Deep underground in the grand city of Alexia on the fortress-planet of New Byzantium, a rally of mass proportions is being held. People from all over Imperial Space flock to the rally grounds in an seeking to hear the words of their beloved Emperor. An elderly Terrus Irving, clad in an elaborate Imperial military uniform steps forward towards a podium, a tall guard in purple armor on each of his sides, following slightly behind him. Cameras capture his every move, broadcasting to hundreds of planets across the galaxy. As he reaches the podium, tens of thousands of people all salute him with a resounding cry of "AVETE IMPERATOR." After a minute, the crowd is silenced, and the man begins to speak.
"Citizens of the Imperium, today marks the first step towards our ultimate victory. Today we shall strike back against the deviant scum that wish to spread the tyranny of democracy in order to oppress all of humanity. We have attempted to make peace with these people, however, the democrat David Muller refuses to end his vile reign of destruction, and continues to commit acts of terror against unarmed citizens. Our forces shall now participate on the side of the Heroic Leigionarii Terra against this most evil terrorist cell. Only one man, one tyrannical man, wanted this war, and through a great deceit and betrayal of his own people, has brought destruction and death to all those he claims to protect. It is our moral duty to rid the universe of dogs such as him, and it is our great honor to fight alongside the Legion in the defense of righteousness. People of the Imperium, arise once more and be worthy of this historical hour! We cannot, and shall not fail.
Omnes salutant Imperio, Deus vult!"

"AVE!"

Earth home of the Rebellion. Earth once was a vibrant green full of life planet. Now it is a wasteland planet caused by radiation. Most buildings appear to be falling apart some are faintly taken over by nature. Nothing green or bright like it use to be. The Rebellion has people all over the wastelands of Earth. Life in the wasteland is common for many there is one major area, however, that is the center works for the Rebellion. This place is the base for the Rebellion where basically the group settled down after an agreement made by their leader and an old member with the Terran Imperium. It’s why they are still around and have a place to live out freely. Well as freely as a group can with a careful eye being on them simply because of the past. There are two main cities.

The faction gets supplies from the Legionarii Terra Faction. Aila must try and keep terms decent with them to make life not a pain in the ass for everyone. One wrong move and for all the Rebellion knows they may become no more. Another reason no one has objected to Aila being the leader out of fear of what would happen if they tried for a change in leadership.

There are two main cities, Sagewood and Vido city. These cities are built up of buildings that looked abandoned and worn down. Some still manage to have electricity especially thanks to the Rebels who understand a thing or two about mechanics. There are some areas that appear to be small shacks far off in a wasteland type area. Water and food can be found but isn't always easy. Usually to get a good water supply the people have a well near their home, town, or in the middle of the city. These cities are close connected by underground tunnels which some do have more life underneath but mainly they are used to quickly spread across information.

First Vido city has part of a wall closing it near the back. This wall is triangular and doesn’t surround much of the front it was simply there when people found it and learned of electricity keeping much of the area up. Some feel the wall protects them from the few dangerous on the outside. Radiation doesn’t seem too evident for in the town some foods grow rather well and people are often found out and about. However, the buildings are basically the only sign of any radiation that may have affected life for the town. Some buildings are stacked with a second above. It’s obvious the place had to be fixed up when discovered. It’s the main place for papers to be produced and larger merchants can be found. There an Inn that is a bit famous for the rebellion here as well that is a great place to get a drink if you need it. Most of the buildings are built off of old brick buildings that could be expanded and have metal making the homes.

In Sagewood, Aila and some of the older members of the Rebellion live here. There isn’t a wall and most of the buildings are only one story or lead a bit underground for a basement. The buildings appear to be old brick buildings from before the last great war. The results of radiation life are more evident in Sagewood. Crime is common in both but some say more so where the wall is not. Why probably to be a pain for the current leader Aila Virlar. Sagewood isn't known for merchants or the drinks. Rather a place to speak with the leader herself. There is a place great for relaxing and a show is going on almost all the time. It’s also the preferred place to gather rumors, learn of pacific missions, and even possible get in the current paper. Some also describe that Sagewood appears to be what a old starting out city before the wars was and that Vido City is more of a current obvious build up for after the wars and radiation take over.

Vido City

Vido city didn’t have much activity going on for the day. Just the usual a passing out of the most recent paper with any current news. The shops were open and not many seemed to have business going. The Inn as always was open and pretty active. A man was waiting near the front on patrol to make sure the city seemed safe. Well as safe as it can be crime wasn’t a stranger to anyone here just like in Sagewood or most of the settlements of the Rebellion. A Diamond Bugle stand was near the city’s entrance.

Sagewood

“Hey, you.” A man called out toward some girl. The woman turned toward him. “What is it?” She replied. “Rumor in town is you are in need of some protection. You're new around here aren’t you?” The woman stared. “Uh yeah, I am…” She replied unsure where this was going. “Thought so reason rumors say you need protection. Now how about we make a deal?” He commented. “And why’s that?” She asked him an eyebrow raised slightly. “Empty your pockets of all your gems and maybe that will be enough. See you can’t go walking around without protection. You just have to empty your pockets of everything or else accidents may happen." “Uh-” The woman was interrupted by a figure who moved to separate the two and they seemed to have her stand behind them. Looking the girl noticed it was a woman who seemed to have fur and fox-like features. “Mike leave this woman alone.” She said with a serious tone. Mike stepped forward. “Now why should I do that Aila? I haven’t done anything wrong have I?” Mike replied in a daring tone. “Mike you and I know that’s not true. I do believe I heard you threaten this lady. Maybe not in the usual give me all you have or else since but close enough.” Aila stated not backing up or even seeming to flinch. “Now Aila can’t we work this out?” Mike replied. “I’ll give you a warning Mike don’t bother new guest when they first enter the town they may wish to join the cause. Also if I hear you threaten someone again. Know this I will personally see out your proper punishment.” Mike gulped and turned to walk off.

Aila sighed and looked to the lady who Mike had been bothering. "Aila Virlar leader of the Rebellion at your service. Don’t let his encounter scare you off. We're known for being. For the people by the people. We protect the innocent, and punish the guilty.” Aila shared extending her hand which the woman took to shake. “Thanks, I’m Jean Smith,” she replied and walked off to see what was around.

Aila sighed and went to check on the reporter to see if there was anything else she might need to straighten out. Probably making sure the scene that occurred wouldn’t give off the wrong idea to anyone about how she handled the situation. It seemed every little thing could end up in the Bugle. Aila had been dealing with acts like this or some worse it seemed every few weeks. When David’s followers would quit was unknown. She looked around to see those who still believe in the Rebellion and reminded her what they stood for. A small smile could be seen on her face.

There was obvious plenty to do in Sagewood just like Vido. Anyone might ask the woman Jean her thoughts on what happened. They could see Aila speaking to the reporter and could easily walk up to either of them for anything. The few shops in Sagewood were open and so was the famous club that’s open all day and night.

Dierjakar, or known to most people as The Spire, lies as the World Capitol of D.A.R.G's Corporate Capitol, Ontarom. The Spire is seen as a safe haven given the dangerous weather, temperature, and people here. But The Spire is well protected with fortifications, corporate restrictions, and D.A.R.G's own Galactic Forces. The city is like most cities in D.A.R.G: Overpopulated, diverse, lit up like Times Square, and loud with the noises of Imperial Broadcasts, Propaganda, and Upbeat Music.

The Spire (the giant building in the picture above) itself is a story of it's own, a structure so massive and tall, it can be seen and accessed from outer space! It serves as the symbol and the biggest receiver and router of Imperial Broadcasts, Data, and Network, think of it as a gigantic amalgamation of a data center, server, and cellular tower all at once. Yet despite its large size and its obvious purpose, it has left the public out of it's doors for quite some time...

..that is until now.

Today, a celebration of the grandest scale is being held all across the city, people from all over Imperial Space, as well as from all walks of life, have all gathered in this one city, hoping to get a small glimpse of some of D.A.R.G's top political officials, including Samoa Toskivich, the leader of D.A.R.G. The Streets are lined with people of all sorts and walks having a good time, while all of the city's screens display an intricately crafted stage and podium, crafted solely for this event, with accompanying music to serve as entertainment while the final touches are added. In the three large streets that are within view of the Stage, the setup is different. White tents, tables, and buffet lines litter the whole area, which are currently closed off to the public and are reserved only for V.I.P's who chose to go the extra mile to get a closer view of the stage. Here people mingled casually, enjoyed the food, and partied like gentlemen while the stages were set up.

Meanwhile, Samoa, as well as the other people, such as The Spire's Director, a Minister, and one of Ontarom's Celebrities, conversed among themselves rather briefly as their private ship, accompanied by a large escort, floated their way from the spire down to the staging area. When they arrived, they left off the ship in the order that they would give their speeches: The Celebrity, the Minister, the Director, and finally Samoa himself. They were accompanied by many guards, most of which were hired mercenaries with good backgrounds, until they all reached the backstage.

*stop the music*

When the Ontaromish celebrity came onto the stage, the music was silenced, and the citizens settled down. The speech was now about to go underway. The Celebrity gave a brief intro, and acted as the MC, introducing the other three when it was their time to speak to the crowd. Next was the Minister, who gave a one hour speech describing what benefits and expectations of offering The Spire to the public. Next came the Director, who spoke of how to get Into the Spire and what services are offered to the people who are inside the spire. Finally, Samoa Toskivich will close the presentation, and announce the official opening of The Spire to the public.

The Lorexian leader came out, hands clasped out in front of him, sporting a smile as he and two other guards walked out onto the stage. Then, giving only a slight pause, he grabbed the microphone and went at it with his speech, placing his gestures and his emotions into every word.

"You know, I've always had a soft spot for this city. Because when you think about it, this city is uniquely beautiful! I mean, what other city do you know has a GIANT FREAKIN' TOWER THAT REACHES INTO SPACE? Exactly! Also, you've got all these pretty colors of red, silver, and gold just sprinkled all about the place! Fun fact! Did you know, that Dierjakar is a model city? Yeah! It truly is! I keep a freakin' picture of the thing in my own personal quarters because it's so damn beautiful! And whenever I come to this city I can't help but feel a little warm inside! I mean, this place...heck...it does good to me. I think it's time that I return the favor, don't you think? Do some good to IT for once! That is why, I'm going to release my once private establishment to the public!
When you think about it, having literally the biggest freaking building IN THE GALAXY and only having select governmental officials be able to use it? Well, I'm not gonna lie...but feels pretty empty whenever I go in there, heh heh. You know it just...gets boring to have everything you hear on the communications, the phone, and even the fooking Imperinet be nothing but government-approved things, amiright? Anyways, I think it's time we changed this stupid system and just made things simpler and fun altogether by having some citizen-led channels being made on citizen-led broadcasts in a new and improved citizen-led Spire! Right?
"YEAH!" "Yeah! That guy knows what he's talkin' 'bout...HOW ABOUT WE OPEN THOSE DOORS TO THE DAMN SPIRE ALREADY!?!?!"
The crowd cheers once more, before being settled down by Samoa.
"Alright, then without any further ado, I pronounce that the access to The Spire, as well as access to The Spire's services...IS NOW OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! Thank you all for listening to us all and have a great afternoon!"

*Continue the music*

The Lorexian returned the microphone back to it's spot and hastily made his way backstage, meeting up with his fellow Minister, a male anigmae by the name of Kendric Alfalu, to discuss a few things while the party ensued. He spoke in a calmer, less emotional manner then on that stage.
"Well, that's one population problem dealt with."
"Yes, but unfortunately that is only going to last us so much until it appears again, Samoa."
"That's understandable, yes, but unless we can find a way to terraform gas giants...I doubt this is going to be an easy issue to fix..." He stepped away from the minister, clasping his hands behind him, he paused, letting out a small sigh and glancing at the minister.
"Look Kendric, we shall deal with said problem tomorrow, when we head for Carristian City. Until then, please try to have some fun. Your speech was so bland it made even me sleepy, and I feel as if you are an A.I with your lack of empathy. It's a party Kendric! You go to parties to socialize and express your emotions! It would be nice if you could show that once in awhile! Now I'm going to do just that, socialize...you're free to join me if you wish."
With that, Samoa left off with some guards to do some after-speech party mingling. Even though the speeches are over, the celebration is far from it.

Dmitir Kaizakah
Location: The Spire

It was a time of festivities and parties for those at the party following the rather 'unscripted' speech that their leader gave but to Dmitir it was going to turn into a night full of dealing with drunks while keeping an eye out for that potentially life threatening scenario that he had been anticipating ever since he signed the enlistment documents long ago. Regardless orders were orders and Dmitir had been ordered to 'supervise' a small sector while the E1s and E2s had the more tedious task of actually patrolling the grounds. It was rather boring in a sense, and deep inside the corporal longed to at least snatch a bounty of food so he could enjoy the high quality meals that were being provided tonight. Afterall it was a rare occurrence for enlisted personnel to be deployed to an event where the 'good stuff' was in sight neatly arranged on tables and platters that were being carried around by the staff. Regardless, he remained at his post, standing at attention with his left hand holding onto his right wrist near his pelvis region while he waited for a call or an opportunity to move away from where he was so to snatch a sample of the food he had an eye for.

Soon the crowd was let in, and it wasn't long before the empty interior was populated with guests of all backgrounds. With that the radio chatter came to life, most of them being inquiries about either the rules of engagement or the directions to specific areas around the massive structure. There was one message however that caught Dmitir's attention and it came in the form of one of the other guards that approached him with a radio at hand.

"Corporal we got word that uhh you got mister Toskovich coming through your sector make sure everyone here is on point and not looking like an idiot." The man informed the animae who in return nodded and collected the communicator in his right hand. Unlike radios long ago the device was light and very sophisticated to the not so tech-savvy eye. It had channels and even text notifications to specific units that appeared in red wording. There was one that had Dmitir's name, confirming the other guard's report.

*VIP OFFICIALS PASSING THROUGH SECTION 1A, UNIT 182B's AREA (DMITIR KAIZAKAH), ADJUST PATROL PATTERNS AND KEEP TABS ON ALL PATRONS*

Upon taking the radio and reading the orders the wolf nodded with a long, drawn out sigh escaping his maw. "Alright alright lets get with the protection detail and see where the sergeant wants us to go from there." Dmitir said as he stuffed the communicator away from one of his pockets and stepped into the crowd. He moved with great speed, like water through a maze weaving through all the obstructions and patrons that were in his way. In his sights he could see the renown DARG official with his guards along with a platter in his way. First he snatched a bit of food, wolfed it down, then adjusted his uniform so to make sure it was in tip top shape before he approached the man and his security detail. Once he caught up to them he stood at attention, bringing his arms to his side with his gaze locked on the Lorexian Leader.

"Lance Corporal Dmitir Kaizakah, peace keeper supervising this sector. The sergeant is located at the small booth in the center if you need his report on the area, but we have encountered nothing out of the ordinary."

Tosen Sien was sitting back in his seat when the Emperor came into view of his screen which brought Tosen to attention he salutes back out of habit and smiles.

"War it never changes as it never ends, suits me just fine means I keep a job as long as there care mingrela to slay the Empire has a use for me."
Tosen gets out of his seat lighting a cigarette has he walks to a table to inspect his fun, sword, and armor. Then he will need to check his cybernetic parts to see if they are working properly.

Samoa walked calmly around the crowd, keeping his hands clasped behind him and making only brief small talk to those who decided to talk to him, as most people were either too afraid or too excited about other things to talk further, much less even talk. It was always "A blessing to meet you, Doge Toskivich!", "O' how grand it is to finally see D.A.R.G's leader in person!", and his personal favorite "Sup' Doge." This goes on and off for most of the party, a smile plastered on Samoa's face the whole time.
Occasionally the Lorexian went to a buffet table to snack on some munchies. Most of the guests weren't out of the ordinary: The city's most elite and successful businessmen, most of whom are of the Anigmae variety, all clad in luxurious clothing. Like most people in vast public outings, they tend to keep to their small circle of friends and known ones.
The guards and military personnel, however, were something more of a different experience. One such example is that of the 'peacekeeper' he was coming up upon, who right away, greeted him as so:
"Lance Corporal Dmitir Kaizakah, peace keeper supervising this sector. The sergeant is located at the small booth in the center if you need his report on the area, but we have encountered nothing out of the ordinary."

Dimitir Kaizakah was...aesthetically pleasing for Samoa to look at. He was a lupine Anigmae, with a clean pattern of black-and white fur, with a bit of a ruffle and a tuffle here and there. When he spoke his words, they were confident and clear, as every security personnel should, although his age was probably that of the younger bracket, as most guards who ever got stationed to be near him must be very skilled and loyal in their work, and that takes quite a bit of time.
The Lorexian paused for a moment when Dimitir finished his words, trying to adjust his mood to the current situation. He extended his hand to shake the peacekeepers, speaking calmly and softly, with little to no emotion backing his words, as opposed to the grandeur voice he gave on that stage some time ago.
"A pleasure meeting you, Lance Corporal. I, am Doge Samoa Toskivich. I need not to talk with your sergeant, your word is fine enough for me. As for the security, I would only hope that everyone is doing well within the limits of D.A.R.G's superior authority within a three-hundred-and-thirty-foot radius of me, as otherwise this security force wouldn't be here, now wouldn't it? Speaking of which, it is a rare sight indeed to see someone of your age at your post during a hectic event such as this. You must be a very skilled individual at your job...no?"

Dmitir maintained that stance with the discipline that was expected of a soldier, his gaze forward even during Samoa's inspection. There was no doubt that the wolf was one of if not the youngest staff member on the part's security detail. There was one little motion that brought out something else in the young peacekeeper. Upon spotting the DARG leader extending his hand towards the lance corporal there was a rather distinct moment of hesitation, a rather unexpected gesture that caught the wolf off guard. He was merely a lance corporal, and knew many high ranking officials who would probably send their men to their deaths just to shake the hand of their leader, but here he was, reaching out to take Samoa's hand to give it a firm shake.

The following statement made a rather out of character smirk surface on the peace keeper's maw, breaking that straight emotionless expression for once even though he still maintained his firm posture. He had a hint that his abnormal scores in the shooting range might have something to do with his assignment, for when it came down to it the best shot could save the day, but to brag about such things would be a sin in his eyes. "A crowd like this is just another Tuesday for the embassy protection detail, sir." The wolf proudly replied, his confident smile fading just moments later. Being a younger one there was no doubt that Dmitir had the tendency of breaking character when it came to upholding the role of a man with a gun and a hologram badge. "Shall I leave you to it, sir? I am confident you have more pressing matters to attend to rather than talking to a low rankee. We got your back out here tonight."

Samoa stayed upright and emotionless through the wolf's exchange, not even so much as giving him a smile until his words were over. He pressed his hand against his chin in a perplexing manner as he studied Dimitir once more with distinction. When it was the Lorexian's turn to respond, he did so in a most respective and intelligent manner.

"It's strange how you treat this event as if it were like any other...If it were me, I'd call every day of my job a special occasion, unique and unparalleled to any other day in it's fashion in a most...unexpected manner. As for my work, if you consider standing around in a party for several hours a 'pressing matter', then I suppose I will see to it that I should leave you be and attend to such matters. However, if you were to...assist me with such a task, and in return turn this 'ordinary Tuesday' to a more extraordinary one, that would also be very beneficial to both of our causes, would it not?"

He placed his hands behind his back once more, and gave the wolf a small smile as his only gesture.

Dmitir listened to the man's proposition, his ears becoming straight and erect if they weren't before. There was a great uneasiness that came over the peacekeeper, his gaze shooting around to anyone who might have been listening in. Such a opportunity like said before was to kill for, and here he was, being given to it on a rather 'average' shift. Eventually a part of him said 'to hell with it all' and soon Samoa got the answer he was hoping for. "It'd be an honor, sir." The peacekeeper replied, his right hand becoming free so he could whip it up to his forehead in a saluting gesture. Whatever repercussions that might come from this instant moment will have to wait and come after the party.
