What year is it, anyway? 2020? No, that's not it. 2025? Nooo, it's later than that. 2050, that's it! Yeah. It's February 2050, and megacorps are about as common as ants. Only the most influential corps use magical girls as their enforcers, however. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention: magic's pretty common, too. For the most part, the average citizen can't use magic. The corps usually have someone who's really strong in magic, though, and they handle the magical girls. Am I getting ahead of myself?

Magical Girls are contracted girls between the ages of Thirteen and Twenty-One who work for the company. Generally, most Magical Girls are volunteers pay off something or other, or to provide a service to the Company they work for. Occasionally, there are conscripts from corporation-sponsored orphanages, but for the most part, a corporation's Magical Girl Division is almost entirely made up of volunteers.

Well, that's enough info dumped on your heads. Make use of this as best you can because I won't be repeating it.

Well, to be frank "magical boys" aren't really a thing to begin with, but male handlers are. However, if I allow you to make a handler, I'm gonna impose a hard cap on how many handler characters there are, say two or three per every half dozen or so magical girls.

EDIT: And actually, the presence of male handlers that are old enough could lead to some interesting plotlines.

Background: Carrie might not have been plucked from an orphanage, but she might as well have been. Born in the slums of Chicago, her childhood was a struggle. No matter how well she did in school, it seemed she'd never make it. Colleges didn't look her way, and since she didn't have much in the way of opportunities, she signed on with ManaCorp on her 18th birthday. She had idolized the famous electricity-wielding magical girl Camille Desjardins all her life, so choosing a power theme was easy. Having been assigned to Group 13, she's ready to meet her teammates and get in action, and who knows? Maybe she'll make a career of it.

Powers: Carrie has a variety of lightning-based attacks and abilities.

Lightning Leap- Carrie transmutes her body into pure electricity, reappearing somewhere nearby. Think short-range teleport

Shocking Shot- Her bread-and-butter attack throws a ball of lightning at a single target

Blitz Beam- Carrie fires a beam of electric energy at a target for moderate damage

Electric Pillar- A variation of Blitz Beam, Carrie conjures a pillar of lightning from the sky to electrocute a target. Great for hitting an enemy behind cover!

Electric Explosion- An area of effect attack, Carrie releases a spherical blast of electricity from her body.

Wrath Of The Heavens- Carrie's finisher calls down a mighty lightning bolt to charge her staff before firing a massive blast of electricity in a wide arc. High damage, high area of effect, high collateral damage.

Transformation: Ugh, what was I thinking with this outfit? My first assignment's probably going to be a battery ad!

Carrie's transformed outfit includes a short-sleeved black top with crossed yellow lightning bolts on the chest, a black skirt, white boots and gloves, and black cape with the crossed lightning bolts.

Connections: None

Stability: Only basic security clearances for now, but viewed as unlikely to betray ManaCorp, due to them being her way out of poverty.

Background:
A Veteran Magical Girl.

Outwardly polite and pleasant, she remains distant towards people and fellow magical girls in anything beyond 'the job'. Her experience, particularly her original assignment to ORDU during a Crisis three years ago, makes her exude an air of seniority in her craft. Together, they saved their Home City of Osaka from a destructive event.

'ORDU' was a group of magical girls who famously saved a city from an evil force with their combined powers. The 'U', if you've guessed it by now, stands for Fubaraki. The girls were organized by the mysterious Doctor Y. Fubaraki's former membership in that team, if anything, gives her the recognition for being an experienced magical girl.

The reasons why ORDU broke up, and why Doctor Y went missing after the threat was defeated is a great mystery in the magical girl world. For whatever reason, Fubaraki - also known as 'The Comet' under her magical girl pseudonym, has come out of retirement, some in the Magical Girl community is astir as to what has caused this.


She had already completed training and orientation by the time the ManaCorp became privy to her well hidden magical girl past. She was considered a competent newbie before this revelation, but its now become clear she's been holding back her true abilities the entire time. And its become a sharp concern among the higher ups as to her intentions. As she's refused any inquiry - but staff are hesitant to outright fire someone who's considered competent even when pretending to be new.

Despite her reputation - or maybe because of it - she was put into Group 13 due to her questionable intentions. She operates on either 'my team can do it on their own' or 'I'll handle it myself'. In short, she's a bad team player. For example, she launches ranged attacks that catch both her allies and enemies by surprise. When confronted, she's reasoned that her teammates are 'blindly charging', 'blind to the situation' or cite a critical opportunity to land a shot. On the flip side, she retains a calm demeanor, even in stressful situations. She isn't shy about helping her teammates improve either if they can get past the fact she's not interested in them beyond work.


Powers: Fubaraki's powers require that she is able to see whatever she intends to manipulate. Her power is not as flashy as some other magical girls but it's considered a conceptual power with versatility. She primarily attacks by way of throwing objects (her favorite being glass marbles) at opponents and accelerating them to breakneck speeds before impact.

In combat Fubaraki attacks foes at range, and uses her agility and powers to land critical strikes. She also punishes foes by disrupting or even countering their ranged attacks.



Passive Impediment
Due to the ability only being able to achieve certain magnitudes when in use, she can't necessarily crush someone under the weight of their own clothes unless they're wearing something heavy to begin with. Given the average attire of an archetypal magical girl, at most she can passively encumber their movements and speed. While nothing noteworthy on paper, in combat these impediments are most difficult handicaps to be put under.



Experienced User
She's used her powers for a very long time (compared to at least Conscripted Magical Girls). Her experience translates to having a keen eye and having above average physical capabilities and stamina (for A Magical Girl).


Weight Manipulation
Increasing or Decreasing the Weight of Something. Achieved by either multiplying or dividing the mass of something or affect the gravitational effect on something.


- Multiply Weight

This multiplies the mass of something by varying multiples. Can be used to amplify the striking force of a projectile but won't allow her to crush someone in their own costume. Unless it was heavy to begin with.

- Divide Weight

This decreases the weight of something by pacifying the gravitational acceleration on something. Used to great effect to make someone more agile in their costume but wont allow someone to start lifting full sized cars.


Speed Manipulation
Increasing or Decreasing how fast something is going. People get surprised at how projectiles she casually tosses out suddenly start zipping by like bullets. Can also amplified ally projectile attacks or physical charges. Her signature speed and agility came from her being able to (after many failed tries) to apply acceleration to the right parts of her clothing at the right time and strength without ripping her clothes off.. Her Agility can be best described as being able to 'Dash' and 'Air Dash' at will - dodging attacks and repositioning as needed.


- Multiply Velocity by Zero
This can nullify an oncoming Arrow if she can catch sight of it. It will stop an object but will still render it susceptible to gravitational acceleration. Looks impressive when done.

- Multiply Velocity by Negative
This can send that same Arrow back in the same exact direction from whence it came. If her powers were truly tied to mathematics this should be impossible. Some say that she has a mental understanding of either imaginary number applications or uses quadro-dimensional geometrics to achieve this.

This reverts her form to her younger visage as 'The Comet', complete with the classic ORDU beret. Her hair is shorter and the colors of her eyes and hair become a little brighter too. Some Magical Girls still remember her and the rest of ORDU being Model Magical Girls to aspire to.

Instructor
A staff-member who organized training of the incoming Magical Girls. Usagi was their personal favorite, and they were convinced she was some kind of magical girl genius. However, the truth was that she was already proficient to begin with due to experience but no one wants to hurt their enthusiasm by telling the truth.

'ORDU' (?)
A set of retired magical girls who fought of a crisis three years ago under the guidance of Doctor Y. After the crisis ended, the Doctor disappeared and the girls retired, sinking into obscurity. But did they really?

Doctor Y
This Doctor had an idea that conceptual powers - which had limited scope due to the limitations of the individual girl - could become immensely powerful through amplification. For example, the Magical girl 'Politelight' had her power to project light amplified to the point that it blew up a satellite in orbit. The same idea couple be applied to Usagi to potentially crash the moon into the Earth... is one example of fairy-tails that came up of Doctor Y's capabilities.



Stability:
Concern - She follows orders. She's competent. She's good at looking like she's friendly but it's just a mask as she seems to not want to associate with anyone on a personal level. A renowned Magical Girl re-emerged out of retirement to join this Corporation, and no one knows why. She is a frustrating security concern. They Know that she is Purposefully Holding Back as records show that her powers allowed her to do more than throw marbles around. Her previous identity as 'The Comet' was only discovered after it was found that there was no girl named Fubaraki Usagi who actually existed.

    By repetitively sending Mana waves through her own body she can enhance her physical abilities surpass human limits, the waves resonant with each other making it stronger as it becomes active for longer. Mana Oscillations can also be used a a mid range projectile to incapacitate or destroy targets.

    Transformation "Prodigium", named after her thesis collection "Codex Prodigium" published before she became an enforcer. Ena becomes highly energetic as well as aggressive, her usual calm and calculating demeanor melts away into board line maniacal violence
    Background:
    An infamous prodigy in magical engineering, Ena lived a life barely knowing what being a child is like. Her mother was a former magical girl whom she never knew as a person, her squadron was caught in a fatal battle that led her to be the only survivor. Well, "survivor". By overloading her magical capabilities she held back fatal radiation magic that would cost massive collateral damage to a heavily populated city she caused her body to deteriorate, the overflowing mana was too much for her body to handle as she grew weaker and weaker. The pain of losing her team as well as magical capabilities was only soothed by her former handler, now her husband and devoted magical technician. Ena was an artificial baby grown from a test tube, her mother fell into a coma soon after her birth. Ena grew up watching her father attempting to save her mother, with both modern medicine and magic, she had a natural feel towards magic and was soon proven to be a help to her family.

    She researched a way to wake her mother along with her father, showing more and more promise even as a young child at the age of 9, until an experiment with mana oscillation trigger a massive magical shock-wave. Ena received server injuries from the blast, it caused 80% of her cardiac functions to cease as well as more damage to internal organs. Her mother passed away due to the accident, and her grieving father could do nothing except keep his child alive with mana as a life support. Ena wasn't fazed though, in an ICU she used her understanding of magic based technologies to create the CMS, Cast Mediation System. It was an assisting system that processed complex organic control as well as movement spells that kept her bodily functions valid with a supply of mana. Her father supported her on the decision, as there was no possibility of her recovery. Ena under went many surgeries to replace implant magical crystal receivers into her damaged organs and bones, it resulted in a long scar from her throat to abdomen, as well as on her joints.

    It worked, at least it kept her alive. Ena underestimated the amount of mana needed to sustain her system, it resulted in her needing to sleep 18 hours and do very little physical activity just to stay alive. Her father at first supplied mana so she could live like a normal person, but one day he was arrested under claims of illegal usage of new magic on human subjects: Ena's CMS implant system. She was taken by child protection and placed in an orphanage, but was soon transferred to one owned my ManaCorp, where she received an offer on working in research and development of magical technologies in the company, with the promises of a regular mana supply and one day proving her father's innocence. Ena accepted gladly, this was the place where she made her name in the field as she proposed concepts like base magical classification, generalization of mana resonance and the technicalities of semi-perpetual motion with Newtonian inertia control spells.

    She gladly handed over many of these research results to ManaCorp, but refused one thing that the corporation wanted, the research and development of the CMS. Despite the refusal ManaCorp still saw potential value in her and decided to keep her around, but as an enforcer as soon as she reaches the age of 13. Her contract stated that as long as she acts as an enforcer she can keep the rights and developmental materials of the CMS, but if she does decided to give up the materials she can receive a life time of mana supply as well as continue to do RnD for the company. Ena was first confused, but after she was assigned to the accident prone Group 13 she had an idea. The company wanted her to die in the line of duty at some point so they can get their hands on her life support. But she wasn't about to give in that easily.

    "I won't die, not here, not like this."


    Powers:
    Consecutive Mana Oscillation Resonance: Or commonly known as Blood Boil Mode in the company, is Ena's transformation form, where she transforms from a weak sick girl to someone who's physical abilities far surpass human limits. By channeling mana waves into her blood she can achieve unrivaled power in her physical body. In addition, her CMS system becomes a weapon rather than a handicap support system, she can freely control them with her mind and use them as assets to amplify her spells. Although powerful, both the overflow of mana and insufficient mana can throw off her body's balance, her transformation is limited to around 2 hours before self terminating. Using too much magic or the environment during the time frame can influence this time limit.

    MCQC:
    Mana based close quarter combat, she launches attacks suck as punches and kicks that are empowered by mana, upon impact mana waves are sent into the target to damage deeper parts of the material. It also enhances reflexes, power and speed.

    Plasma Oscillation: By constantly bouncing mana waves off of her own body and a part of the CMS Ena creates plasma beams that can stun and cause damage.

    Plasma Collider: Instead of a plasma beam instead Ena throws a punch or kick towards a CMS part, extremely fast bouncing mana will create plasma and heat on impact.

    Mana Acceleration Point: Both her CMS would come together, acting as a scope, and support in launching one powerful heated blast, her only long ranged attack.

    Hyper Resonance: Utility skill, by using several oscillations and letting them over lap it is capable of destroying almost any material, but takes a long time to execute.

    Distortion Field: The CMS and Ena makes a triangular formation to form a field filled with mana resonance waves, any living being inside will be interfered, it depends on the individual but most are slowed or have headaches and numbing in limbs. It 's main effects is containment of spells, it can reduce effects of magic or even completely contain it depending on the strength, although this is very draining and may cause transformation to self release.

    Blood Boil - Overdrive: Purposely disturbs the mana flow of her body, letting most mana flow to the legs and weapons, provides extreme speed and power but as a safeguard it will force user out of transformation within 180 seconds.

    Connections:
    Vinton Shuu - Her father who was arrested for illegal magic usage, Ena wants to free him one day when she gains enough influence.

    Stability:
    Stable, despite having grudges and rebellious actions she is dependent on the company's mana supply to stay alive and live a normal life, she would be barely functional without the company. Unless she can find another external mana supply it is unlikely she would betray the company.


  • The CMS, Cast Mediation System was originally developed in 2043 by Vinton Shuu, another gifted magical technician and Ena's father. He was accepted as a magical girl handler at age 16 and was beloved by the girls on his team, as he was similar age of then while being skilled in magic usage and theory. But when his team was wiped out he began to question the system of magical girl, as a group of girls his age one by one died in front of him in the line of duty. The CMS was created as a side project as he was finding a way to prolong the life of Cassia Shakti Shuu, his former teammate and current wife, it was a mean of eliminate young girls from dangerous lines of work solely due to their ability to transform and use magic.

    It worked as a tool, it stored mana and processed it according to the user's demand. This effectively allowed any trained individual to use magic as long as they are in close proximity of the device. The development was slowed as Cassia's condition worsened, and was halted after her death. It was eventually revived by Ena, who had 80% of her internal organs shattered by magic. It now works together with Mana Resonance Crystals implanted in her body and keeps her blood cycling via mana. Forged with military grade tungsten and reinforced with mana the outer shell of the CMS is incredibly strong, it's regular form and withstand landmine blasts, and with full transformation it can temporarily withstand the temperature and pressure equal to a small scaled nuclear detonation.

    Due to this Ena's body has not aged since the occurrence of the incident, when she was 9 years old. In order to conserve mana her body temperature is kept at only 28 degrees celcius or or around 82 degrees fahrenheit, she also refines from walking or other exercises too much, and uses the system like a hover board, or wheelchair. Usually it is a clean white with a tint of light lilac, similar to Ena's hair color, but after transformation it becomes jet black and gains a glowing mana core, a symbol of overloading energy rushing through the

Power Type: Dark Faery. She practices dark magic along with elements of the night. Dark nature is her craft, in the field of controlling butterflies, using poison, and conjuring anything from the shadows.

Background:

Janelle Myros is an individual whom one can be called, "arguably vague despite bearing an undoubtedly clean record." She bears no record of any violations from her file, underwent education, and lived a simple similar to an average citizen. Though there are many factors to question of her, such as where she came from and who were her parents. Janelle would not disclose this information, but seeing that she made an excellent ally and asset as a magical girl for the company, she was exempted from any one who would inquire of her origin.

Despite that, there had been information that was obtained without Janelle being aware of it. The records obtained were multiple, but one file bears high possibilities of her origin.

Her highly likely mother is Akara Myros, a former magical girl who works for a dark and shady corporation in the past and bears a record for spying on a rival company and multiple murders. And her father could be Soren Darkfly, who owns the enemy company where Myros infiltrated according to the records. However, Darkfly was convicted as well for endangering his own company after conspiring with Myros. Both were sentenced to death, and Myros was stripped off her powers, but the record states they both disappeared the night before their execution. One prisoner who reside beside their cells stated that Myros was possibly pregnant that time. This happened twenty-two years before.

Twenty-one years later, Janelle Myros came into existence within the records after volunteering to be a magical girl on ManaCorp. So far, she excels well in carrying out tasks, proficient in blade combat, and an excellently terrifying user of dark magic.

She bears a personality of a reseverved yet curious individual, and intimidation could be one of her best skill against anyone she encounters with. She does not hesitate in making questionable choices that can jeopardize anyone, but she decides only for a good reason. She works well independently or in a group, and her advanced practice of dark magic truly highlights her as magical girl that can strike terror against the enemy.

Powers:

Insect manipulation - black carnivorous butterflies reside within her body, forcing her to wear a gas mask (to prevent the butterflies from flying out of her mouth), whenever she transforms. She can manipulate these butterflies under her will.

Flight - she sprouts black insectoid wings on her back that she uses to fly.

Darkness manipulation - she can manipulate shadows and darkness by drawing power from a dimension of dark energy, both as an absence of light and a solid substance:

1. Obsidian Grip - Black and purple veins sprout from her arms that grants her enhanced strength on her hands and arms. The hardness is equal to an obsidian rock.

2. Wands of Twilight - Dual shadow-based wands that helps her control and focus her magic.

3. Black Arose - Conjures any entity made from darkness.

4. Winged Blades - Controls her butterflies to become projectiles with such tenacity and sharpness on their wings.

5. Nightshade Kiss - An attack spell that deadly poisons the target. Effects include thirst, blurred vision, vomiting, drowsiness, slurred speech, nausea, hallucinations, confusion, delirium, coma, convulsions, then death. Many of her other attack spells fall under this general spell.


6. Shades of Refuge - A defense spell in which she can use to retreat her or anyone into the shadows to avoid incoming attacks or move from one place to another.

Ichigo stands 4'10, a below average height for girls her age, with a rather slim physique. She has a long silver hair that reached her shoulder and a pair of matching silvery-blue eyes

Background:
Ichigo was the girl assigned to the company by one of its sponsored orphanage. Currently, she was already leaving the orphanage and was staying at the dorm of her recently enrolled high school.

Her family background was unclear, as the girl was claimed to be taken in a criminal gang around the age of 5. After that, she received an excessive training and education and fully became one of them. According to confidential records, the gang was known to be one of the most prominent group of criminal in japan, having tie with government and was infamously known to be accepting any kind of job should sufficient payment could be made.

3 years ago, the gang achieved a terrifying feat of wiping an entire company of magical girls, using only 3 magical girls and a small number of non-magical personnel. It was admitted by Ichigo herself that she was also a part of the incident. Using only her wits, skill, and mastery in weapons, she had killed more than a dozen of magical girls.

Following that event, their influence toward the government meant nothing as companies joined force and a large amount of magical girls were mobilized. While most of the gang members were either killed in action or received capital punishment afterward, Ichigo who was 13 years old and fully protected by various laws was simply sent to an orphanage after a short duration of rehabilitation center. She even received the name "Sasanami Ichigo" from the government, a change from blunt "you" or "girl" she was always called the entire time.

Perhaps you are expecting an introverted, shell-shocked girl who is bullied by her fellow orphans? Nah. Ichigo was reported to have a good relationship with people and adapting well with her new life. In addition, psychiatric examination she periodically received had revealed no abnormalities. A year later, she was allowed to enroll a middle school and moved to a dorm where she was no longer strictly observed. Psychiatric examination still revealed nothing out of norm, and her studying result was exceptional. In summary, she was no longer a criminal who had killed hundreds of people but instead a girl who was looking forward a happy, peaceful life.

On the surface, at least.

None of the following information were official. However, it was worth considering. [Confidential information] (aged 15) said that he was a part of Ichigo's small gang in the orphanage. The boy claimed that all the kids in this gang were misfits picked by Ichigo herself. One of the group's main activities was bullying other kids, to the extent that he had seen one of their victim attempting suicide. He also added that Ichigo often dragged their victim somewhere and talked in private, and by doing so their deeds never reached an adult. There's also a man who was one of the psychiatrists tasked with examining her. He claimed that he found nothing wrong about her post-traumatic mental stability or moral turpitude. However, her mental capabilities once exceeded what a girl her age should be capable of. A repeated test revealed no such abnormalities, therefore the result wasn't recorded.

Powers:
- Holy bullet

Ichigo manifest and launch balls of light energy. She can deploy and fire volley of them in close/mid-range and can also concentrate and fire a long range charged single bullet that cause a huge explosion on contact.

- Angelic Whisper
Ichigo transmit her voice telepathically. While it is limited to one person at a time, there's no limitation regarding distance or obstacles, so long as Ichigo roughly knew her target's location.

- Angelic Flight
While having wings, what she is capable of is more accurately described with the term levitation than fly. She can hover into any direction without moving her wing an inches. Additionally, she is able to generate glittering light midair to create an angel-like contrail. This is proven to be totally optional.

- Angelic Embrace
Ichigo hugs her target. While the action is maintained, light will gently radiate from both people and the target will obtain accelerated wound healing, energy and stamina restoration as well as mental and emotional stability.

- Sweet☆Twinkle
Ichigo emits a bright light that blind everything watching except herself. While the blinding duration is as short as a few seconds, it can be used almost instantly, making it an extremely effective surprise attack.

- Sweet☆Punisher
Essentially just concentrated holy bullet in a form of large beam. Though Ichigo had said that "a magical girl should have a signature attack!" and insisted to have this listed as a separated power.


- Seraphic Nova
Ichigo's trump card, gathering massive light energy around herself before unleashing it all, causing a powerful spherical explosion in a large radius around herself.

Note: While this girl has her first transformation at the company and was well-cooperative in undergoing serial transformation for analyzing her powers, there's a possibility that she might have discovered something more than what recorded and is hiding them on purpose. This is supported by the lack of attempt to resummon her clock in order to discover power related to it.

Magical Girl Sweet☆Angel (self-named) wears a white themed frilly outfit with a slight mixture of pink and black. While her height and physique remains the same as her normal form, her hair has its color changed into black and got longer into a twintails style which promote her childish look along with the white beret. Her eyes also changed to the same pink color as the bows on her dress. On her first transformation, she was reported to be carrying a golden analog clock with a winged heart similar to the wings on her back, though she was able to make it disappear immediately. It never showed up after that.

Connections: She knew some of the government officers who used to be tasked with observing her during her early years of rehabilitation. Currently, she was close to them and their families, enough to be their daughter's best friend.

Stability: Questionable - While the orphanage claimed that she was one of the best girl they have in term of capability, personality and sociability, what she did in the past was something really unforgivable. We all know the term redemption exists, but rumors surrounding her didn't seem to help with it either.

Background: Annaliece was born into the company and raised by the company. Her parents either abandoned her at an early age or sold her into a ManaCorp sponsored orphanage to pay off some debt or another. She was too young to properly remember the circumstances and the company has sealed her file until she turns 18. "For her own protection," they say. Anna suspects an ulterior motive given that it's marked "above top secret", but she ultimately trusts the company. She's extremely enthusiastic, friendly, and unfailingly polite with a "friends list" a mile wide. Unfortunately, this is counteracted by her dimwitted nature. She's not the brightest bulb in the box, but at least knows how to connect the dots, albeit slowly. She was assigned to Group 13 shortly after becoming a magical girl, in an effort to actually teach her things that could prove useful during her career.

Anna's own goals, at least as far as Group 13 is concerned, is to make friends with the others, one way or the other. Past that, her goal is to find out why she's been in ManaCorp her whole life.
Powers: Annaliece's true powers lie under "Wind and Air Manipulation" but as far as most of the others are concerned, it's just basic "Petal Manipulation" because all she does with it is make petals dance in the air. Even in combat, all she'll do is use her powers to project flower petals at nigh-lethal speeds. However, if the chips are down and Annaliece loses her temper (a rare occurrence in and of itself), she will bring the full force of her powers to bear, and those powers have a very high limit on them.

However, she gets all of these flower petals from somewhere, so maybe there's more to her powers than people realize?

Petal Dance: Annaliece's default state. She loves to watch petals dance in the wind, so she'll often distract herself, often for more than an hour, by using small wind currents to make them dance. If she loses her focus, it's likely the petals will blow away by mistake, which can lead to a sulky Anna.

Razor Petals: Annaliece projects a flurry of petals at hurricane speeds towards whoever has invoked her wrath.

Waltz of the Winds: Annaliece puts her company-funded dancing lessons to good use and literally dances up a small tornado to throw at whoever made her angry.

Waltz of the Flower Petals: Weaker variation of Waltz of the Winds that focuses a bunch of flower petals into the whirlwind before blasting them out at high speeds.

Mach X: Annaliece angrily unleashes a max-speed wind in all directions. Ultimate skill, only ever used in testing. The wind itself is harmless, but the debris it can potentially kick up isn't.

Connections: Annaliece's sunny personality means she has lots of magical girl friends from other groups, and by extension, is friends with their handlers as well.
Stability: She trusts the company implicitly, but her curiosity means she tends to poke her nose where she shouldn't. A gentle reprimand is usually enough to deter her, but sometimes it takes more persuasive methods.

The ability to create barriers, platforms, and other simple objects out of solid mana. This mana looks a bit like glass, but with a blue glow to it. In practice, it also requires a constant supply of mana to persist, leading to quicker mana drain the stronger each barrier is.

Background

As the granddaughter of ManaCorp co-founder Saemonsaburou-san, Sukimairu is best known for two things: an absurd allowance, and going around the company judging people at how well they do their jobs. Although the Saemonsaburou family lacks full control of the company, they do hold a giant portion of the company's shares, giving their opinions a lot of weight.

Even though most of her time is spent aggressively poking into people's business, Sukimairu's influence is more limited than she pretends it is. Proper procedure must be followed, and any major change usually requires a passing vote from the board of directors. Thus, Suki grew up shrewd and charismatic, attending board meetings since 2047, and working hard for the company.

Years later, Sukimairu approached the board with a suggestion: disband Group 13. She argued it was a useless money sink to create a team full of the most 'incompetent' magical girls, but her attempt was ultimately shut down due to her lack of experience. Hoping to rectify this and gather proof of their incompetence, she volunteered as a magical girl herself, specifically requesting to be placed in group 13.


Powers
  • Mana shell: Surround yourself (or another) in a shell of thick mana, shielding them from harm.
  • Mana wall: Create a wall of mana.
  • Mana track: Create a conveyor belt of mana barriers, shooting anything on top across the track. This also has the potential to cross chasms or be used to travel upwards.
  • Flash block: Stop a nearby attack by flashing a barrier directly in its path for a split second. Much more efficient than long-lasting barriers, but requires high reflexes, so is normally useless against fast projectiles.
  • Mana weapon: Create a simple weapon out of mana. Might be useful if Suki actually knew how to swing a weapon competently.

Transformation: Hair turns blue; clothes transform into a lightly-armored bodysuit decorated with glowing blue lines that resemble mana conduits (even though they aren't).

Connections: Granddaughter of co-founder Saemonsaburou-san; name recognition among most mid-to-upper management.

Stability: Extremely stable.
