Rules & Requirements:

I'd like to make it clear that this idea is influenced by the anime One Piece, but is not a One Piece roleplay. You don't have to know the show in depth to be apart of this group. Also, this is an Intermediate to Adept level roleplay. The post cycle is one post every 1-5 days (from my post of course)

  • Don't Godmod. It's as simple as that.
  • Be friendly in OOC, keep the drama in the IC.
  • Follow Iwaku rules!
  • RPs with a lack of communication die, so I'd appreciate it if we all got to know each other, besides it's more fun to RP with someone you can call a friend.
  • If you vanish for a week without warning I'll send a PM and give you three days to respond. If you don't then you're susceptible to getting booted out. If you mention it in advance though then that won't be a problem.
  • Don't be afraid to add to the story! But if it's something major, please PM me about it first. Adding to this, I’m all for “character arcs” so keep this in mind!
Story
It all started with a compass.
But it became so much more than that. It became about a crew that realized there was much more to being a pirate than just chasing fairy tales. New goals were set and the sky was the limit but...what happened? It was too unclear for anyone to really explain.

Good things... Disastrous things… Ultimately, the StarDusk crew was forcefully disbanded and have been for two long years. It was like they were wiped off the face of the earth. No one has seen from the pirate crew. No one knows what happened to them. After two long years it’s debatable if they even know what happened to them that fateful day...
But, two long years of being nonexistent has finally passed and the StarDusk pirates are back and better than ever-

Right?

Story explained: This is PART TWO of this fine RP. The story started with the basics of a crew who had been looking for a treasure called the Black Compass: A compass that led pirates to a treasure fit for gods. But as all well rounded people do, some character development happened and new goals were created and new ambitions rose. However, before things could really be kick started, a mysterious new foe- a new weapon trained by the Nay managed to wipe them out single-handedly. If it hadn’t been for their captain’s command to retreat and quite literally scatter, the StarDusk crew would have been no more.
Part Two is much similar to the first with the crew coming together and going on wacky adventures with new twists! New (and old) faces! The possibilities are endless and the story has barely begun.

~

NEW PIRATES: The story for you starts off a bit different, but not by much. While the actual StarDusk crew have been prematurely separated for these two years, the Navy has been upping their game and have actually been accomplishing the task of capturing pirates or anyone of affiliation. It's bad news for literally everyone. So your character starts off as a "rescuer" or "rescuee" of a group that they see being captured by the Navy. Think of it as... viva la revolution? And hey, maybe your character just really doesn't like when the Navy wins. For further, more in depth questions, feel free to message myself or my co-gm @Winter.

Edit: Now that the story has progressed, new pirates, with the GM's help get to plan out just how they managed to fall into helping the odd group that is the StarDusk pirates.

Please PM CS sheets (Don't wanna lose them in the OOC)

Name: (Everyone's got one ya know!)
Age: (We don't need any youngins on the ship. 18 and up)
Gender: (If only for the sake of knowing so we don't offend ya.)
Appearance: (As a member of the StarDusk pirates, you must have your star somewhere on you whether it be a tattoo on your arm or a bandanna you always wear, you must have the symbol.)It can be any style as long as this star is in the center and the most prominent thing. (It would be much obliged if it were either a detailed description or a picture and description.)
Position: (Where do you fall in this crew? You're not the captain so what're ya?) Crew Positions for some ideas!
Personality: (How will you act around everyone else? We need to make sure you'll at least tolerate the crew.)
Special Skill: (You have to know how to protect yourself. But ya can’t be overpowered obviously.) (Because this is a One Piece influenced RP feel free to pick an actual power. but of course it has to be approved by myself)
History: (Sure you can reveal extreme stuff during our journey, but we still need to know something about you.)
Why did you become a pirate: (Out of everything in the world, you decided to defy the law and find treasure. Why?)(This could coexist with your History.)

If you ever want to learn a little about what happened in Part One~
The Tale of StarDusk has expanded pretty far, so a summary seemed necessary not only for nostalgia but to help the new people settle in. So without further ado here’s a recollection of some of StarDusk past. (I won’t be getting everything; just covering the basics so there’s some understanding, here’s hoping it at least clears up a few things and brings a smile to those here) Side note: I’m just covering the people here today, there were more they’ll get an honorable mention.

How the crew came together:
Runali Lev(Captain)- Supposedly to break the boredom of her normal everyday life the Captain of the StarDusk Pirates became well…a pirate. For a while she rode without the jolly roger until three days passed and she started meeting her crew, their stories are written below

Kai(Captain bodyguard)- A man known as The Leviathan who was staying at a tavern named the Crimson Dragon, Runali who happened to wander in recruiting was attacked by one of the men inside. Kai to his own surprise protected Runali at inhuman speed and ended up joining her crew.

Nolan Fischer(Cook)- While working in a tavern with his family Runali happened to come in to order a meal, meeting a pirate in person the two spoke and when she spoke of needing a crew Nolan ended up telling her of his desire to sail the seas. Soon after he was saying goodbye to his home and his love Annie before he left become a StarDusk Pirate.

Raymond Skalter(Musician/Gunner)- Ray ended up joining the pirates after being saved by Runali, being hunted for a crime he didn’t commit in his home of Lendria, his memories are faint on the matter but it’s true Runali helped him and dragged him onto the Coral Pearl. She asked him if he was truly innocent and after Ray told her his story he was taken on as a StarDusk pirate.

Luro Makachi(Carpenter)- After being stranded (again) on an island for a few days after a drunken escapade the Coral happened to pass by in the distance. Luro raised his rifle all for getting off the sandy prison…though instead of shooting Runali he shot the area next to her hand, and getting her attention and saved he joined the StarDusk pirates.

Alicia Tashigi-(Swordswoman) (See Utsukushi for more details). After winning the fighting tournament in Utsukushi Alicia met with the StarDusk pirates once more, and received an offer from Runali to join the crew. The full reasons for her joining was unknown, perhaps curiosity, maybe because the next ship out wasn’t going to be for months, whatever the reason she was named a member that night under the fireworks.

Danni(Previous Navigator)-(See slave ship for more details)- A stowaway and bundle of energy who ended up joining as the StarDusk Navigator, having lived on an island most of her life she wished to see the world and all it had to offer and did just that…by sneaking on the ship after they stocked.
Marcos-(See slave ship for more details)- A former slave who joined StarDusk temporary after they incidentally freed him. She traveled with the group for a while.

Adventures:
Hara Island-
The crew’s adventure here was rather simple but necessary, firstly the captain got into a bit of trouble at the tavern, accompanied by her bodyguard at the time Kai. The matter was easily resolved…but the rest of her crew was surprised to see a gang of angry people chasing after her when she returned. Fighting off the gathered enemies (during which Runali got shot in the shoulder) the crew got away from Hara Island treating Runali afterwards.
Extra notes: Ray and Kai clashed during this moment it would be the first and last time they would.
It was here Luro’s promise to the captain not to randomly kill came forth.
A fellow pirate named Carmen departed at Hara Island.
The crew travels, Ray singing tunes, Nolan cooking, Luro drinking and the captain being…the captain. During this time they speak of the Black Compass, going over its legends.
The one below is the legend Luro knows.
“It's said that one pirate found the treasure but his crew started turning against him on who should have it hearing of what it could bestow upon them and believing it could only be given to one person. The Captain made a tough decision and in the dead of the night went to get rid of the treasure, if only to stall an eventual mutiny. However he was lulled by the treasure and kept it all to himself taking a small dingy and putting as much in as he could throwing the rest into davy jones locker so no one could have it, others say he only took one piece with him but that seems absurd to me. Anyway he gained immortality but his heart wrenched at his betrayal against his crew who were like family to him. Unable to live with himself he made the Black Compass so that his crew could find the treasure he hid away and threw himself to the bottom of the ocean in repentance. Some say it's a cursed treasure and the Black Compass never made it to his crew, it's said that any captain who is in possession will see the original captain standing on the waves watching the captain with a sorrowful expression. He just stares every night in silence but occasionally he'll point in a direction, which is where his old crew his supposedly at. He does so in fear of another betrayal for those who possess it wishing it returned to his crew."
Danny joined shortly after this having been a stowaway on the ship.
The slave ship- After the capture of Danny (who Luro released shortly after with permission from the captain) the StarDusk crew went to take on the slave ship, engaging in heated combat. Cannons fired, bullets rang out and the slave ship was torn asunder, though the Coral Pearl suffered damage as well. However after being harpooned by the slave ship and boarded StarDusk started physically fighting back, after firing a few shots into the ship of course. Runali and Luro ran below deck to rescue the imprisoned people while the others (Kai, Danny, Nolan, Ray) fought on the ship, taking out the slavers on the Coral and beating down the ones on their own ship. During this time a slave named Marcos joined in the fight having been free due to one of the many holes in the ship.
The battle ended in victory for StarDusk, the slaves freed, children saved, Captain Pars defeated (with Marcos help as well) and after taking all their treasure and leaving Pars to go down with his ship(which he didn’t sadly) the slave ship was sunk and StarDusk continued forward.

Waterdeep- Ah the place where StarDusk’s name started to become well known.
The tale here starts as a favor to their fellow pirate Kai, they went to Waterdeep to retrieve his flag. Kai had a bit of a vendetta against a group known as the Kraken Skull pirates who ended up killing his men after a hurricane damaged his ship leaving them weak and battered. Wanting a remembrance of his lost ship and his legacy he sought to return to Waterdeep and StarDusk agreed. To Kai’s surprise when the captain received news the following morning hearing the city was at an all time low, a city in the dead center of all Major Trade Routes, named the ‘City of Splendors’ he was surprised to hear the state of the city. The matter was quickly put aside however and the captain’s plan remained the same which was to retrieve the flag and enjoy the city. However things didn’t go as planned, instead of a simple search, restocking and a taking in the sights, they approached to see pirate and trade ships taking up the dock, and when they approached were stopped by pirates to go meet the new pirate king of the city. Apparently a pirate known as Captain Fenn had taken over the entire city of Waterdeep, otherwise known as the captain of the Kraken Skull Pirates. The King, Queen and royal daughter had been taking hostage, and Captain Fenn had taken up in the palace itself as King.
Giving the option of joining or dying by Fenn’s men Runali ‘decided’ the former to meet the ‘king’ himself up close and personal. Ray was the only one within the crew who got away without much difficultly, with one guy on the outside and the rest of StarDusk going to meet Captain Fenn the fate of the StarDusk looked pretty slim being surrounded on all sides with cruel pirates. After meeting captain Fenn within the royal place and declining his invitation to join his crew, Runali gave the order to attack throwing the pirates into complete disarray.
Kai and Nolan went to save the royal family as Fenn tried to escape, Luro, Danny and Marcos ran back to the Coral Pearl to stop the retreating pirates. The captain chased after Fenn and Ray was on a mission to free the guards in the city locked away by Fenn. Luro’s team made it to the Coral only to see Fenn’s man had occupied it, not wanting to rouse suspicions Luro devised a plan to get the ship back without violence. Sadly in his drunken stupor Luro forgot to lie and ended up informing the pirates they had killed their friends, which made him take the first kill and fighting alongside Danny and Marcos make their new objective to kill everyone. Kai and Nolan had escorted the royal family to safety and went off in search of the princess, while Runali kept up her case for Fenn. At first everything seemed to be going to plan, up until Fenn got away and set off a flare which called all of his pirates to him, so he gained a hostage wrapped literally in chains (the princess) and StarDusk was about to be surrounded by a literal army of pirates while all of them were divided. Adding that Fenn tossed the princess tied up and in the water didn’t help matters. Runali dove into the water to save her as Kai and Nolan dealt with the approaching pirates. Thankfully Ray had managed to free the army and they came to Luro, Danny’s and Marco’s aid, though they almost got arrested themselves since guards generally don’t like pirates. Thanks to the free royals however, and the queen’s anger they were saved and the army charged at the pirates who had already surrounded Kai and Nolan. (Wiseria as well which was an npc, and a friend of Kai’s but we won’t go into that).
The captain saved the princess, the soldiers saved the captain afterwards, the pirates were taken to prison and Kai chased down Fenn capturing the man who ruined years of his life. Instead of taking his life he turned him over to the royal guard and joined the crew as they celebrated their victory. After getting medical attention the crew was treated for a celebration in their honor at the palace having saved the city of Waterdeep, a huge feast, plenty of drinks along with dancing and general merriment for the crew. A day just to wind down and enjoy being heroes’ just this once. It was here perhaps by divine fate that a flyer smacked Runali in the face, as she walked out into the night air, mentioning a tournament in the land of Utsukushi; StarDusk’s next destination was already decided. Kai and Marcos chose to stay behind as StarDusk sailed to Utsukushi, leaving as heroes…and before the navy came.
Extra notes: The crew’s large bounties came from their actions in Waterdeep
Kai requested Nolan, Ray and Luro protect the captain in his absence.
Luro’s throne chair came from the throne room in Waterdeep, yes he did steal it.
Ray’s broken saber was repaired at Waterdeep by the father of a ‘lady friend’ he made there. He swore to the captain upon his new sword, with his oaths broken similar to his once broken sword, they had to be reforged. He swore a new on to Runali pledging his life and service to her.

Utsukushi- A Tourist Island filled with stalls and items from all across the sea that StarDusk went towards after WaterDeep, here a fighting tournament was held, with a prize of $20,000 and Luro decided to join for the fun of it. While on the island Ray and Danny left on their own to take in the sights, Runali left to watch the tournament and Luro dragged Nolan with him as he tried to find the tournament. It was here that Alicia Tashigi made her appearance, being a participant in the tournament herself she took on a ‘strong’ swordsman, taking him out with ease and gaining the interest of Runali in the process.
Alicia apparently carrying the name Bow Black as well continued to move up in the tournament and Luro did the same until the final round of the tournament. Here a free for all occurred between, Luro, Alicia and Ikaros Ryu who was a fishman, while the rest of StarDusk watched the fight. Luro requested that Alicia wait as he had a one on one with the fishman Ryu which she agreed too. Though Alicia stepped in when Luro was almost backstabbed by Ryu after what he thought was an earned victory. Alicia and Luro fighting together easily took down the fishman and turned towards one another, here the very sky seem to tear asunder as two powers came together for a fight for the centuries, the honorable skilled Alicia and the drunk fighter Luro, the world seemed to stand still as their spirits filled the air causing everyone in their seats to feel the heavy atmosphere as sparks exploded between the two of them, their very aura’s visibly leaving their bodies each one ready to end the other’s life without a moment hesitation…okay it wasn’t that intense for the most part they stared each other. Anyway before the fight even truly started Luro ended up walking away since he ran out of rum, which left Alicia the winner of the Tournament. Shortly after Alicia approached StarDusk to give Luro half the prize money for their combined effort in defeating Ryu, it was here Runali offered Alicia a position on the ship and that night, as the fireworks flew over Utsukushi Alicia boarded the Coral Pearl accepting the young captain’s invitation.

Brass Cape- A city with advanced technology, which carried a steam punk environment to it and the destination StarDusk headed towards after Utsukushi. A young inventor by the name of Risa ended up crashing into the Coral Pearl from the sky when her makeshift wings failed as the Coral Pearl headed towards Brass Cape. A resident of the city she met StarDusk and became their guide as they approached the large island. After seeing a bit of the sights, including an Airship StarDusk noticed a fight at the harbor; being an rare sight at least according to Risa they approached it. Here they noticed a brawl occurring accompanied by body parts flying into the harbor before a man was literally thrown into the distance and pinned to the ship by a sword. It was there they met the man known as the Rookie Judge, a famous pirate who passed judgments on pirates and could strengthen or ruin one’s reputation immensely with his word. At the whim of their captain StarDusk went to the tavern where the Rookie Judge had departed towards after leaving quite a mess at the harbor. At the tavern the Rookie Judge also known as Shouta demonstrated his power and broke Alicia’s prized sword when she failed to cut his flesh with it. The sword handed down for generations in her family destroyed gave her new purpose and an honor to restore. He judged StarDusk as a whole, breaking Runali’s dagger given to her by her mentor as an example as captain before doing the same to Ray’s who offered his out of honor to his captain. The StarDusk crew left Shouta’s presence shortly after his opinion was made clear. The members of StarDusk seemed to have a few things to think about as they wandered around Brass Cape taking time to think inwardly, Runali eventually found Alicia who had run out of the tavern after her sword was broken, having only spoken to Nolan who chased after her. Luro not wanting to leave Risa’s side stayed near her and Ray wandered on his own for a bit. Each person seem to have their own thoughts towards not only themselves but StarDusk. At the end of it all StarDusk left Brass Cape and moved onto their next destination, multiple thoughts stirring in their minds.

Extra Notes: There was a lot of development here so…here’s a few tidbits though it won’t do it full justice.
Ray- Ray’s loyalty to Runali is especially shown here, with him even going so far as to say Runali gave him hope.
Alicia- Acknowledged that arrogance and eagerness clouded her judgment against Shouta, which not only broke her sword but hurt the StarDusk pirates honor along with her own. She becomes an official StarDusk here for the purpose or restoring their honor as well as her own.
Runali- Touched on her own inexperience as a captain and the impulsive decision to lead a crew viewing her own significance. Alongside Alicia however the two acknowledge that they can only get stronger.
Nolan- Seeks to become a stronger person, a better crewmate and put aside his own grievance to work better as a team, his desire to travel with his fellow pirates show no sign of retreating even in the face of danger and doubt.
Luro- recalls the word of a man in his past on understanding things, and comes to comprehend a bit more of his casual interest/homicidal intent towards Runali.
Danny-…I got nothing here sorry.

More Notes- Just a little more:
Haki was first seen at Brass Cape. Ray, Alicia and Runali all got new weapons at Brass Cape. Luro has an obsession with the inventor Risa interested in her inventions among other things, though the extent of this obsession is unknown. It’s shortly after Brass Cape that Luro formally mentions everyone’s ‘reputation’ in a letter. Alicia dreamt of her homeland after Brass Cape, a battle against pirates on the shores of Yula Fei. This is of course important to know as it occurs once again.
Finale- After leaving Brass Cape StarDusk gets caught in a storm and its here they encounter a huge hulking sea monster that though they fight it with vigor and bravery are eventually swallowed by the creature. It is after this matter the current story picks up.
Hopefully this summary is enough to have at least a simple understanding of what’s going on.

This is a little something to help the new with some background stuff and the old to remember. I won’t be giving a full explanation only summary, so if you’d like to know more, just talk to either the person involved or check out the link on the front page for full details. Hopefully it helps you. On that note this story picks up after the original recap, so read that first.

I’ll only be mentioning the existing members to avoid confusion but Nolan, Jemima (Fox/Ryver’s character), Cole and Danny are honorable mentions as former members.

Prologue(Kinda)

Silver Veil/Locker-

The story being after the crew is eaten by a large sea monster. They fought it off to the best of their ability but they were swallowed whole. It was here Danny the previous navigator died, Runali lamenting over her crewmates death, not only because she couldn’t hold save her but because she couldn’t keep her promise to not leave her behind.

The next part is a tad complicated but simply put the crew was stuck in a location akin to Limbo named the Locker, waking up in a place filled with sand, statues of others and their crewmates slowly petrifying around them. Basically they were alone in a strange land, pieces of the Coral Pearl their ship scattered around them. Due to fun times here I’ll be keeping it short and sweet.

While separated the Stardusk Pirates were approached by spirits, each one different than the other, that tried to peer into their person and speak of who they are, who they were and what they could be. Each Stardusk was different in a sense and their spirits reflected that, due to the long part of this I’ll summarize.

Runali-Was showed what she could be(Spirit-A cat)

Alicia-Shown what she lacked in life(Spirit-Antoine)

Ray-Told he was holding himself back. (Spirit-Shaw)

Luro-Told to face the Truth. (Spirit-Sville).

After being given a riddle the spirits gave their life force to save Stardusk. (There are all manners of tidbits in this chapter, if you’re curious it’s all in the first two pages).

Davy Jones- Stardusk woke from the Silver Veil to find themselves on a large ship named the Albatross, the captain being none other than Davy Jones, accompanied by a girl name Lilly(who apparently wore the big boy pants when it came to ushering souls go figure) that greeted the crew. He explained about the price paid for death, a hundred years on his ship for weak souls though Stardusk was spared that fate having regained themselves in the Locker not his ship. He repaired the crew’s ship and ushered them back to the land of the living, giving them a fair warning, that if they died again there would be no more chances.

Upon returning to the world of the living Stardusk paid respect to their fallen crewmember Danny, Alicia performing a ritual from her land involving lanterns. With their goodbyes said Stardusk moved forward to their next adventure.

Adventures

Yula Fei- The hometown of Alicia Tashigi and an island paradise in the middle of nowhere, words can’t really do the place justice, but it’s a beautiful island with a very traditional feel to it.

After Davy Jones returned Stardusk to the world of the living by either luck or fate they ended up near Yula Fei and ended up running into Alicia’s sister Satia Tashigi along with a mess of armed guards. It was here the crew found out that like everywhere else pirates weren’t exactly liked, especially by Satia. This hatred however came from their previous experiences with pirates, an experience that Yula Fei was living again as enemies of the islands past were returning to fight. Stardusk learned of the battle at Port Hurasai and the many lives lost defending Yula Fei from hordes of pirates, and with an even bigger force on the horizon Mei Omoiyari the princess of Yula Fei was calling everyone to stand against this threat, Satia being sent out to find Alicia. Worried for her home Alicia asked for Stardusk’s help in defending her home, and the whole crew agreed.

Shortly after their discussion with Alicia the Captain caught sight something outside and after investigating found the man that would become Stardusk’s navigator Mikchail Arcadius. The ship he was hired as navigator for the Karalean was destroyed in a storm, leaving the Navigator no choice but to accompany Stardusk and Arcadius who was given the nickname Kadi was basically pulled into the war for Yula Fei.

After meeting Akiyoshi Alicia’s father and Colt a traveling bard Stardusk met with the Princess to strategize against the incoming force, the princess knowing Stardusk’s actions in Waterdeep already had an interest in them and proceeded to ask their expertise for the incoming threat. After an awkward moment and lack of civility by a certain redhead the crew gave their advice on what could assist in the coming battle. Stardusk took the downtime before the fight to relax possibly for the last time, participating in drinking challenges, learning about Yula Fei and enjoying themselves, then eventually the pirates came.

The Battle-They Won the end.

Nah I’m just kidding, the following morning after their downtime loud bells woke Stardusk and looking out at the water they noticed a mess of ships on the horizon, of all shapes and sizes a seemingly infinite number approaching Yula Fei. Though a blockade of ships had been set up there was a good chance if the Armada made it to the blockade Yula Fei was finished.

With the protecting of Yula Fei in mind Stardusk rode into battle into two different groups. Kadi, Arcadius and Luro on the HMS Death Trap and Alicia, Runali and Satia on the other boat.

Stardusk fought through what seemed like hundreds of pirates, destroyed ships, and proceeded forward looking for the head of the attackers Odyn. Ray and Runali found themselves wielding new powers as they moved forward, Runali forming claws from Armament Haki in her fight with a Devil fruit user named Vail and Ray after eating a Devil Fruit gained his ice powers and aided Runali in her fight against Vail. At the end of everything Odyn was defeated and Yula Fei was saved but not without sacrifices, Akiyoshi Alicia’s father lost to a man named Koji in a duel as the crew watched. The crew stayed in Yula Fei for two weeks afterwards to relax and allow time to mourn. They left Yula Fei afterwards onto their next adventure.

Extra Info- A lot happened in this chapter so here’s some little stuff.

Princess- The Princess chose not to run even knowing the dangers…that’s just good to know, shows her character.

Alicia- Alicia’s mother Sakura is a very famous swordswoman who knew the late queen, and Alicia and the Princess are childhood friends.

Ray- Ray brought up the Kareth of Lendria, the Ancestor of the Skalters and a hero to his people…you can tie that into current events. Kareth is his middle name.

Princess-She told off this guy name Liu Shen who didn’t believe in Stardusks, she was all “Respect my Authority and kiss the ring.” Well not really but it showed her faith in Stardusk and the Tashigi’s.

Luro-Luro wanted a favor from Alicia for saving Yula Fei, though he didn’t mention what it was and has yet to bring it up.

Kadi- Kadi was actually pretty efficient here, pulled into a bad situation he handled the matter with pragmatism, just something to keep in mind.

Runali-…she was Runali nuff said.

Kadi-Kept a cane he used while his leg healed after the battle, it’s unknown if the one he has now is the same one.

Luro-Akiyoshi’s casual fighting style which the crew saw in his fight caused Luro to remember someone in his past.

Ray-It’s believed Ray won the bet between Stardusk on the most kills during the fight but only because Luro forgot to count…he claims.

Yakone- Yakone is a winter wonderland, a small area out in the woods away from the center of town which is where it seemed most people made their way too.

Stardusk after a rather…destructive docking ended up in Yakone to find a doctor for Runali who ended up passing out on the ship. There they met Dr. Bentham, Jemima Bentham his wife and Simon Ira assistant to Dr. Bentham. The Doctor though not pleased with the appearance of Stardusk still helped them, though while in the house of the doctor it was clear that Yakone was keeping secrets. Ray chose to stay behind with the Captain while Alicia, Luro, Kadi and Bentham went out to get water. The four ended up getting attacked by wolves during their outing surviving the encounter with only a few additional wounds but Jemima or Jem seemed bothered by the wolves, their appearance an ill omen. Within the house an old man named Nikkai who came to collect medicine noticed Ray’s scarf carrying the Stardusk symbol and stole it running out of the house, it was at this point there was a clear interest in the new visitors and what they were. It was at this point the secret of Yakone was revealed, that the small town was under the control of the Red Pirates, Will Carabis (The captain), Rin Goodwin(First mate), and Stella(Sniper). Rin the first mate of the Red Pirates recognized the symbol as Stardusk and went to pay the group a visit, especially since they had killed Will’s pet wolves and done damage to his town. Appearing at the door Rin shot Doctor Bentham killing the man as an example in front of his wife and Stardusk. He warned Stardusk to leave as he departed himself but the Red Pirates stole Runali while the others were distracted at the door (Also killing Colt shortly after as well). With Jem leading the way, the woman swearing to kill Ren and his captain they went to retrieve Runali. The crew managed to find their captain in a hidden cave though due to Stella keeping her at gunpoint and explosives strapped to Runali in the cave attacking the Red Pirates wasn’t an option. Distracting Stardusk with a loud shot the Red Pirates escaped and the crew left the cave escaping an avalanche in the process. Regretfully they’re misfortune didn’t end there, as Simon a navy officer gathered reinforcements to capture Stardusk, though he ultimately let them go due to his plans going awry deciding to just capture them later when he was more prepared. Jem the original doctor of Stardusk decided to accompany the crew who would inevitably run into the Red Pirates again.

Extra info:

Runali- Runali’s Heterochromia came up again here, the ‘catlike’ pupil an important addition.

Kadi, Alicia and Luro- It might be hard to see now but the difference’s of upbringing between them was clear to see here, for example.

Kadi: “Yes, Luro, we are allowed to use words that are as long as our complete names.”

Luro: “Kadi really is a fancy man, only they can use big words like that towards someone.

Alicia: “There’s nothing wrong with my face…just because I don’t walk around with a silly grin from drinking myself into a stupor each day, doesn’t mean I’m in a mood.”

This was a commonplace conversation between the three, it’s just nice to note the difference in attitude, wouldn’t imagine that looking at them now. Though like now sometimes Luro’s insensitive comments aided in this, he’s not innocent in it.

Ray got shot in the face and survived…so yeah that’s a thing.

After Yakone Ray got his first tattoo, which he hesitated on getting being a former nobleman and tattoo’s being taboo. Though after some thought he decided to get the Stardusk symbol formally put on him, recommended and done by Jem herself.

Alicia made it apparent that she couldn’t mark her skin with the Stardusk symbol, but there was a ceremony of Loyalty that could be done with the others. (It’s unknown if this was ever done so ask Winter for more on that if you want to know).

Runali doesn’t require a tattoo for Loyalty, though it’s appreciated, until Ray got one, Luro was the only marked member on the ship save Runali herself, which only proved the point further.

Cerula- Cerula a small port town to south is where Stardusk docked for the next adventure.

It was here that Nura an old friend/lover of Luro’s made an appearance, a young boy at her waist named William. Though the two friends seemed more enemies than allies Luro ended up roped into pretending to be the boy’s father (after being lied to that he was the kid’s father), making Stardusk’s stay there a bit longer than expected. While Luro was pulled away Stardusk started making their way towards town to get supplies and head to Nura’s home, having been invited for dinner. However along the way the townsfolk all went silent and watched the visiting pirates with cold blank gazes, shortly after the group were attacked by cloaked strangers with an insignia of a Red Raven on their chests. Stardusk easily defeated the group only for more to surround them, however at Luro’s return they all retreated. Shortly afterwards Luro ran off again and Nura started explaining her history with Luro, before they were attacked in her home once again by the cloaked assailants, fending off the strangers Stardusk chose to leave and found out multiple truth’s thanks to a polite Raven and Luro and Nura’s conversation. The group that attacked them are called the Red Raven’s, bounty hunters seemed to be the term used for them though due to their fanatical nature and penchant for shooting themselves and each other to preserve their secrets, Alicia assumed they were a cult.

Luro is somehow tied to these people and seems to know a lot about them, but is unable to remember most of the information without a push, thus he knows why Stardusk is being hunted by these people but can’t remember why. Ultimately it was discovered that the Red Raven’s have always been watching Stardusk, the only reason they know they’re being watched is because luckily (or unluckily) the Raven’s who attacked them broke their sacred rules. With the whole town of Cerula after them quite literally Stardusk left, pressed with more questions than answers.

Extra Info(There’s not a lot for the others…sorry)-

Ray-Ray having acquired his power relatively recently didn’t like people knowing he had them, he decided to pass it off as magic when he did use it.

Raven- The Raven’s don’t just attack random pirates, and for some reason they won’t attack Luro. Something about Stardusk has drawn their attention, and Nura believes its cause Luro is with them.

There were Two flashbacks- A woman (believed to be Sakura) for Alicia who is basically badass, and a bit of Ray’s homelife…there’s some uh…pretty serious daddy issues there, Ray killing a guy in a duel named Hugh a part of that.

Runali-It was revealed that Runali knew Luro had lied to her about his personal history, though she didn’t know his name was fake too.

Ravens-The group has a weird sense of honor, randomly attacking someone without properly informing is apparently against the rules.

Luro-An orphan Luro’s past is a mystery, all that is known is that he’s been a criminal for a long time, murdering and being well…Luro.

Ray-Ray to an extent performed his first acts of ‘piracy’ in Cerula, mainly looting and all that stuff. The other habits are open to debate.

Nura-Funnily enough Stardusk and Nura left really bad first impressions on each other; Nura hates all of them for threatening her and ruining her life, save Kadi who kept to himself. Though she can’t stand them their mutual enemy has led her to assist Stardusk or mainly Luro.

She’s on the fence about Alicia since she wanted to force her on their old ship.

Ravens-The Raven’s are always watching, that was made clear by many of them. They’re also a very well kept secret, known only to three groups, Stardusk being one of them.

Ravens-Raven’s have a telltale sign of a mark on the left wrist, a tattoo, only true members wear the symbol which…can make things difficult since normal people are hired by them.

Inbetween- Some stuff happened in the in-between that are a tad important so here’s some extra extra stuff.

During the in-between period after Cerula there was a little bit of character development.

Ray spoke with the captain about his past, about his regret at trying to kill Nura, not because he felt she didn’t deserve it but because he didn’t want to be what the Academy taught him to be…a Soldier, acting with the thought that an opponent didn’t need mercy, something the Captain decided to help teach him, to strike without killing. It was a lesson she had been taught by her own mentor. They remarked on Runali’s rule, the one she told Luro, the one all Stardusk abide by.

“We are Pirates not Murderers only kill when necessary.”

Kadi is apparently quite the guy back in Wisegrad’s a place believed to be his home or at least a place where the name Arcadius held weight too it. He seemed to reflect on his life, on his choices made, turning down working his way up the societal ladder as most people do to engage in piracy with people not fit for society, in his eyes at least as he did refer to himself as a freak in the Freak Kingdom. “Stardusk was a mobile realm of Broken Thing Society, had no use for and he was a prominent citizen.” This was an Old Kadi thought; it’s just interesting to know those thoughts.

Nyiri-

Due to a few low quality maps and a bit of misfortune Stardusk ended up crashing into Nyrian aka Nyiri, the place was considered a wasteland by some, almost endless desert save a town called Cegeld according to the map. The ship beached with a giant hole in the side and no materials to fix it Stardusk had little choice but to find the town. The men were sent to Cegeld while the women stayed behind and made sure their precious supplies didn’t get destroyed and to watch the ship. The pattern of trouble for Stardusk didn’t fail here as well, the guys consisting of Ray, Luro and Kadi made it to Cegled thanks to an alligator named Sandy, and Luro being Luro ended up stealing food and drink from the pirate townspeople just as Kadi had broken the ice, the girls ended up getting picked up by the pirates who introduced themselves as the Cutthroat Pirates the number one Worst Generation Pirates. The first mate Saffron, the navigator Tsetseg and her assistant Belen, Veera the shipwright, Ozera or Ozzy lead weapons lady and their captain Alcinoe to name a few. The women were escorted to their temple which was an oasis in itself and the men were brought in as prisoners after meeting the large mother of the alligators Lady and almost becoming her lunch.

Reuniting with the ladies of Stardusk at the temple Alcinoe thankfully freed the men after Runali explained they were hers. By some strange circumstance Stardusk ended up befriending the Cutthroat pirates. The Cutthroat’s went on to explain information that all pirates should know, who the Worst Generation were, the Pirate lord Nani Sterling, meetings with the other pirates all the information pirates could use all to help the new band of pirates. The crew ended up staying with the Cutthroats for a few days as their ship was repaired, leaving with sorrowful farewell’s for now once everything was fixed.

Extra info

Alicia really doesn’t like reptiles, keep that in mind.

Elliot a messenger of the Nova Pirates appeared here.

The Worst Gen are as follows- Third is Red Pirates, the second are the Nova Pirates and first are Cutthroat Pirates. The fourth wasn’t mentioned.

Cutthroat’s protect women taking them in and many women there came from all walks of life, they’ve even visited Yula Fei.

Hanako- was introduced here and clearly was all about that Alicia mentorship.

Kadi- “hoisted the sales” with Belen here, he’s got some secrets too but you already knew that.

Ray- Learned of the gods of the temple, since his gods the ones of Lendria were ones of valor and honor he worried they had abandoned him. He learned of Okeana during that time.

Luro-One of Luro’s BFF’s Ozzy is here. Though mistress is a title Luro gives her the two are actually friends, fellow weapon makers and tinkers. He still has the gun she gifted him and he respects her skills.

Cutthroat-The Cutthroat pirates are Land/Sea pirates, having had their temple home for over a decade, though they always return to the sea.

Out at Sea Once more-

In the final steps of the crews journey together after leaving Nyiri they sailed the ocean for a time, Runali herself taking the time to learn more about her crew’s interests and Ray introducing his Ice Shot to the others. Through the passage of time the crew ran into an empty ship considered derelict from a glance, the crew save Alicia fearing it a trap and Ray not mentioning a reason decided to go check it out. Upon making it aboard and ending up surrounded by armed men, they met James Percival Skalter and the reason Ray vehemently didn’t want to go aboard the ship.

Captain Skalter who was Ray’s uncle and ex-navy greeted Stardusk and explained the circumstances on why they were out on the ocean. Apparently a merchant in the Black Marlin company, formerly run by Captain Skalter and now run by Ray’s brother Bernie, was sent out to check a route to a place called Port Startford so the Company could expand outside of Lendria. Stardusk agreed to escort Captain Skalter only to end up ambushed by people after Captain Skalter’s head, Stardusk managed to help Percival but the ship and crew didn’t walk away unscathed from the endeavor.

Epilogue-

The temporary end of the Stardusk journey is a complicated one, not easily explained even in summary. The crew found themselves back at the Cutthroat’s base battered and bruised, and decided to take their time there, each person going off to consider where they stood as a person, as pirates and as a crew. Kadi acknowledging his hesitation at being a pirate but enjoying the life itself, Alicia how the crew was a second family to her which helped as she did miss her first one in Yula Fei, Ray and his burdens as a former noble and the freedom as a pirate, Luro as always unable to think of a proper reason but knowing he preferred being with Stardusk and Runali wanting to revaluate their goals and what they wanted for the future. Though the crew would separate shortly after this due to the harshness of the ocean, they’d find each other again soon enough for a whole other adventure.

Did you know pirates banded together because of a common goal? Of course you knew it was for wealth, (wo)men, and to accomplish what personal troubles they had.

The StarDusk crew found out the hard way that the pirate life wasn't an easy one. In fact, for them, it still isn't. Their journey was filled with trials and dangers, but without the slightest hesitation they jumped head first into it. Each day they travel, ready to face danger and conquer it. Originally, their goal was to find the Black Compass, but that changed over their time together. While the crew still looks for the forbidden treasure, their new goal is to become the best of the best, to rise up in the ranks and earn the title of Pirate Lord. It's going to take a lot to get their, but each one of them is fully prepared to give it their all to make that happen.

After all, this is the Age of Pirates.

Crew

Two Years ago
Now:
Uryuu.Minene.full.1657262.jpg

Name: Runali "Melancholy Queen/ Wielder of the Reaper's Eye" Lev
Age:20
Gender: Female

Appearance:

Runali stands around 5"6. During the two years her hair had gotten rather long, past her shoulders even, but later on it gets cut at an easy to manage length- around shoulder length. She has a black hat that normally covers her hair similar to the picture, however that was lost when they were attacked. Of course, she also wears her captain's hat too. Her left eye is usually covered by a black eyepatch, although her crew occasionally gift her with them so the design changes. Behind that eyepatch is a clouded left eye, with a decently sized scar across, while her right eye is a light brownish gold color.

Her StarDusk symbol is on her right arm, just above her elbow. It's the original symbol of a star and ribbon encompassing it. The symbol lacks excess designs, symbolizing that she is the captain, and the first to have the symbol printed on her. The symbol is usually visible due to her wearing short sleeves most of the time. Her attire normally consists of pants and some type of short sleeve shirt whether it be plain or loose button up. Every now and then she actually wears something 'fit for a pirate' but that's more than likely to keep up with appearances.

Position: "Somehow, I convinced enough people to believe that I'd be a good captain. Boy are they in for a ride. Captain of Lady Luck (and the late Coral Pearl), and the StarDusk Pirates at your service."

Personality: It would be hard to make out a specific personality profile for the girl. Her demeanor changes like the wind. She didn't even know how to describe her personality before she became a captain. It was rather boring as she described it. However as she grew as a person, Runali became a motivator, a mediator, and so much more. She has plenty of perseverance and determination- but that just comes with the title of captain. Runali keeps everyone together and positive the best she can. Overall, she's fairly relaxed and an easy going captain.

Being a two sided coin, being lackadaisical and somewhat carefree isn't the only thing people get to see from the captain. She can be very perceptive, something she may demonstrate by providing important and logical decisions at critical times and by evaluating the situation from an objective point of view. There's a shift in pattern where it seems like she is only motivated during extreme periods of time, and then she'll so happen to switch it up and no one knows what to expect.

"Ya know, typical captain things."

Special Skill: Runali is extraordinarily agile. Even at a young age, she was able to execute mid-air somersaults and cartwheels that surpassed natural human talents. This allows her to be fast and agile in battle, able to outmaneuver almost any opponent she came across. These abilities also grant her impressive parkour and free-running skills, allowing her to scale almost any surface or terrain very quickly and squeeze through most barriers and small spaces. Runali's most defining ability is her mastery hand to hand combat. With her extensive knowledge of the human body, she can strike sequences of pressure points, immobilizing her enemies to various degrees. She has the ability to paralyze a single body part or an opponent's entire body, if she can get close enough.

In the beginning of her journey, she wasn't very skilled with a sword or gun, as she thought she'd leave that to her crew, but of course she learned a few lessons in being a captain so thanks to Alicia and Raymond she's a decent swordswoman. She's still...not the best with long distance weapons.

As all have, she gained a lot of new experience, sailing the seas with her crew. Not quite voluntarily, Runali gained the ability to use Armament Haki solely on her hands and wrists. She's still learning to control it, but it basically gives her- as she puts it, "cool catlike claws". It's also rumored that Runali may have "King's Haki", a power that allows a user to intimidate others- even to a degree that would cause them to faint, but just as it was mentioned- it's just a rumor....??

History: Runali was born to a tradesmen and a store merchant. So, her life consisted of a lot of travelling. While her father took business in trading, often times she would visit the different islands with him, which proved to teach her a quick tongue, making her a great bargainer. If she wasn't doing that, then she was helping her mother organize the fruits and vegetables she sold. There was nothing too extraordinary about her life. Runali was a normal cloud gazer, and if not, there wasn't too much she would do. The kids that didn't think she was weird played with her on occasions, but normally she preferred to observe than to join in. Her quiet nature comes from being told to speak when spoken to.

One day, when she was traveling with her father, Runali encountered a woman training in Tai Chi, and various meditative martial arts. Before long, she trained with the woman as well, often staying on the island and returning to her home days later. This is how she learned her agile abilities. It was all fine and peaceful until a band of thieves raided the two females. Yes, they were able to fight back, but not without the price of a few injuries- one being how she got the eyepatch. No one is sure exactly how she got injured, whether it was an explosion or she was stabbed, or something of the sorts. All they know is that she... well, got injured.

Being young, her story is still in full effect. Only months before she had started her journey sailing the seas, and now she decided to become a pirate.

Two Years Later: Well. She didn't expect to actually keep the crew for so long. But she also didn't expect to lose them either. Hm. What has she been up to, separated from the rest of the crew?

Why you became a pirate: Unlike many, she has no traumatic experiences or no need for revenge. Runali just wanted to know what freedom was like. At home, she was forced into such a routine life, that normally left her cloud gazing. As a pirate, she can experience frequent change and constant adventure. Even if she doesn't show it, Runali enjoys it.
Name: Mikchail "Degenerate of Nirvana" Arcadius

Age: 30

Gender: Male

Appearance: 175cm tall, with broad shoulders and somewhat thickset body. His face is round, with short black hair and murky green eyes.

When on a ship, working as a navigator, he's wearing his green longcoat, a mark of navigators in his homeland. Being right-handed, he's wearing his sword and pistol on the left side, both marked with his family crest of lion and eagle clashing together in eternal combat.

His Star Dusk symbol (should he be accepted) would replace the needle inside his compass, one of the few possessions he brought with himself from his home.

portrait_captain_4_by_skrubhjert-d7fp8bc.jpg

Position: Navigator

Personality: Coming from a land where humans used to not be the top of the food chain, he tries to approach any situation with phlegmatism that in rare cases borders on fatalism. Being from a fairly wealthy family, and thus never really lacking for anything, he doesn't put large value in materialistic things, as his parents always taught him that you can buy things, but never wisdom and knowledge, and that those are the real currency of the world. This partially fuelled his frustration that lead him to leave the known shores and strike for lands where unknown lingered.

From practical standpoint, this created a person that was lighthearted, never was able to hold a grudge for too long and easily forgave wrongs, but also one that was easy to distract and had tendency to give up on things far too easily if they showed little promise to bear fruit of success.

Special Skill: Decent with flintlock and sword, but so far untested in actual combat, and of course, talent for navigation and cartography.

History: What is there to say about me that would not leave you sleeping from boredom after first three sentences...

I was born to a family that was one of the lesser branches of the ruling bloodline of my homeland, a distant place several months worth of a fairly perilous journey by ship, around many tricky shores and treacherous reefs. A place with long and boring history, where fat, slow merchant cogs travel between small city states and merchant empires. Where old castles, abandoned because noone needed them anymore, look down upon thick forests and dark valleys that once used to be filled with nameless horrors, but now the forests have roads cleared through them and the valleys have been cleared and became fertile farming land.

A place where, it seems, all the history has already happened.

At least that was my feeling when I got out of maritime school and served on one of those merchant cogs, named after the owner's wife. I wondered what drove those people to name them as such. Perhaps all of them were fat, boring and never ventured very far from the place they were born. I wondered if that would be my life as well, get together enough money by forty to buy my own cog, name it... Martha or some other incredibly boring name, and die by eighty, surrounded by family, in my own home I bought from my own wealth.

I wonder what led my steps that night, whether alcohol or frustration, but I suppose both are close brothers that can often be considered one and the same. I strode from the harbor pup, across the pier and right into the only ship in the harbor that wasn't a cog. I was drunk by the time, so my memory is somewhat hazy, but I vaguely remember asking the captain if he was sailing “to a place with no more fucking cogs”. The captain recognized a hansa navigator's green longcoat, and as my luck would have it, he was desperately searching for a replacement. He was a warmhearted man who made his living by taking furs from my homeland to the far lands, and returning back with precious spices.

Next day, I woke up wrapped up in my longcoat, in a longboat, and the sun was shining on the open sea. Not a forest, an abandoned castle or a damned cog in sight. The captain understood my plight, and said that he himself has done something similar back when he was some twenty stone slimmer. He said he left a note for my family that I was leaving with him on a trade mission, and that, if I'd wanted, I'd be back home in a year. I wasn't sure I'd want to be back in ten, as I was walking down the gangplank into a port that looked nothing like the one back at home.

Why did you become a pirate: One impetuous decision, and a search for life that actually feels like living.

2 years later update: It has been 24 full moons since the crew disbanded. 8 seasons is a long time, enough for many things to happen in one's life. For example, death. Luckily, the events that transpired in Kadi's story did not contain his demise, though there's something off about him. A great weight seems to be laying heavily on his shoulders, and his eyes have lost the cynical spark that used to dance around in the occuli like a pair of golden bees.

Whatever rotten deal he got himself into seems to be above his capabilities. He has decided to search for the only group of people insane enough to let themselves be roped into helping him, but capability does not mean agreement. Will the friendship and camaraderie developed during his time with Stardusk be enough?

Time will tell. Nevertheless, the navigator, in a new green long coat and a suspiciously out-of-place looking black top-hat has returned to the seas in search of atonement.
Name: Luro Makachi
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Appearance:
uln6Yn9.jpg

Luro stands at about 6’9 and has bit of muscle tone needed for his job, due to his long sleeves it doesn’t show, his eyes are hazel. He has a tattoo on the right side of his face put there by natives he encountered during his travels. The StarDusk symbol rest on his chest slightly on the left a little over his heart, it remains the original with the cloth circling around it and since his shirt is normally open slightly revealing the top of his chest it always shows.

Position: Carpenter

Personality + 2yrs Later: Luro can be a rather tense individual at times, he’s one of the most tensely carefree guys around. A man with a kind heart he tends to worry often about others, especially those he cares for, having lost those close to him numerous times he can be a tad overprotective of what he has. He’s a loyal person who doesn’t hesitate to jump into danger, enjoying the thrill of a fight, since he sometimes finds it hard to speak with his words; he found his actions can tell more than his words can. He also is well aware he’s not always in his right mind, but having no real way to fix it, he generally just lives with the way he is.

A bit of a heavy thinker Luro tends to drift off into his own world sometimes whenever he’s lost in thought, and knowing his habits he tends to speak out without thinking, knowing if he doesn’t say what’s on his mind immediately he’ll just mull it over in his head and eventually be too worried to actually say anything. Due to this he can mess up and say the wrong things at times which he doesn’t catch until it’s actually out there. At the end of everything he tends to just do whatever feels comfortable to him trying to find his own way of doing things and hoping he doesn’t mess things up in the process, though he’s always willing to offer a smile to anyone who might need one as he finds he has plenty to smile about these days.

Special skills: He’s been in enough fights to hold his own when it comes to bare knuckle brawl but his true skill is his obsession for firearms. Luro’s love for firearms extends to his usage of them especially his flintlock rifle. He’s spent years combining the usage of his rifle and his brawling into a style that can lock with any hand weapon, it’s a stylish close combat style using his rifle and hand-to-hand, polished due to many mistakes and harsh lessons. He can reload his gun with inhuman speed (though it is still a flintlock rifle so it won’t be in five seconds or anything like that) and he’s just as deadly at long range as short but his skilled use extends only towards his rifle as pistols are more inaccurate, this doesn’t stop him from keeping one on his person. He doesn’t like swords or cutlasses so he never carries any.

His upgraded flintlock with hardened wood and a waterproof seal is his favorite weapon. Having adjusted the rifle personally it fires more like a bolt-action rifle granted he can only fire three shots. He’s able to reload it mid fire as necessary.

L.A.S.S. Luro’s.Anti.Sibylline.Shooter

A portable generator Luro’s built attached to his gun based off the technology of Brass Cape and his research on making the Coral Fly, if he had the materials making a larger version wouldn’t be out of the question.

The L.A.S.S. is one of Luro’s inventions and works off steam technology, by switching the ‘mode’ on his rifle he’s able to fire a concentrated burst of pressure forward. He does this by pouring liquid into the generator heating it and fueling the L.A.S.S. Luro’s made modifications to the rifle allowing him to use its modes more often allowing the heat in the weapon to build up steadily, when it reaches a boiling point Luro is able to unleash the Big Boom releasing all the heat, cooling down the weapon and basically restarting the cycle.

The L.A.S.S. has two firing modes, first is a normal buster shot that only hits properly at close range. Luro is able to propel himself in a general direction with the aptly named Bellow Shot. By all technicality if pointed downward he could propel himself up a few feet. The second fire modes extends all the built up heat for a medium length larger burst which he’s nicknamed Big Boom. This shot however releases an immense amount of force which makes Luro have to brace either by lying down or putting his gun against something.

One of Luro’s greater strengths is his desire for improvement and knack for development, not only of himself but the objects in his possession, due to this he finds strange but innovative ways to change the function of certain things, mainly firearms but his knowledge has expanded outwards on a few occasions. He even has new generators in mind for his own weapon, this mixed with his gunsmithing knowledge and carpentry can make him dangerous in the right situation.

[Luro’s had some practice with his own machinations, aside from polishing his fisticuffs he’s studied under a few smiths to pick up alternate designs on gun and bullet making, inspired after visiting a blacksmith at Yula Fei. His love for inventions has grown to a dangerous point leading to a few new projects along with some completed ones.]

History: Luro became an orphan when he was young, forced to wander the streets with his sister after they lost their mother. Thanks to money saved up the two were able to leave their home and move to another, from there Luro met a group of orphans with another orphan named Nura.

It was rough but Luro survived keeping Lina close to him as the two tried to survive day by day…but one day Lina made a mistake, committed a crime that carried a heavy weight to it. Luro not wanting Lina to lose what little future she had took the blame himself and became a criminal. From there he spent most of his life on the run, making a name for himself and trying to make himself look as bad possible, with Nura’s help the orphans found homes including Lina but at that point it was a tad too late for him to rejoin the others.

From there is a myriad of stories with Luro becoming multiple people, a king, a monster, a saint, a traveler, a fable told to children so they behave themselves at night. He could go on for days about the people he met and things he encountered, but ultimately he finds little point in going on about those days, the one place that felt like home after he lost everything was with Stardusk so he prefers talking about his time with them than anything else.

Why did you become a pirate: He became a legally wanted criminal pretty much after he was 10, he didn’t really have too many options as he kept committing crimes. Pirates don’t ask about pasts and he likes traveling, seemed like a good idea.

Name:
Alicia Tashigi

Age: 24

Gender: Female

Appearance: Alicia has yet to mark herself with the Stardusk insignia.

Position: Fighter/Swordswomen

Personality: Alicia is very calm and gentle in nature. She likes to maintain a composed and relaxed sense of self and portrays this in the way she'll speak and act in situations. She enjoys having deep conversations, especially about philosophy or topics which provoke deeper thinking. She also carries an appreciation for art in all forms and enjoys beautiful scenery. Alicia proves herself useful in crisis situations, often remaining calm and putting her mind into solving a problem rather than focusing on the problem itself. That isn't to say she doesn't know fear, Alicia can become fearful and even intimidated if she's presented with a situation she can not win. This will usually result in her faltering in how she presents herself which will be when she looks for friends and those close to her for guidance. Despite her young age, Alicia appears to be wise, often reciting words of wisdom or thought provoking sentences in order to aid the minds of her friends. Some could say she is a little mysterious in some ways, although she makes no attempts to hide herself from those who seek answers from her. Lastly to note is Alicia's temper, while hard to provoke she does have the capacity and will usually lecture or scold the individual who has made her upset. Of course that's providing it's an obvious fault on their part. If it's a difference of opinion she might simply walk away to calm herself down if it becomes heated.

Special Skill: Incredible with the sword, Alicia is a masterful swordswomen who takes great pride in her skills. She is staggeringly fast and impressively graceful as each stroke from her sword is handled with the same delicacy as if it were a paint brush. Multiple opponents who challenge her in battle usually give her a wide birth when engaged with her, giving her room as to not fall prey to her sword style and technique.

Alicia had also obtained knowledge regarding The Power of Destruction which has massively influenced her ability and swordsmanship, enabling her to perform superhuman feats of strength at times. Since her discovery of the power, her left eye burns brightly when she's exercising a lot of power in her abilities through emotion, this is also believed to be a partial side effect of having merged with a spirit which aided in empowering her through her emotions.

History: Alicia was born to a family who owned a dojo which taught the art of the sword, so it came as no surprise that she too would learn how to fight with one. Growing up her father was far stricter on her than the other students who trained from other families in the town of her birth. Every one of her movements had to be precise, measured and perfect to the standard of her father, failure being nothing short of unacceptable. She was conditioned growing up, spending hours of her day in the garden training when she wasn't being home schooled by her mother. She would be asked to perform tests of skill, such as silencing the flame of ten candles with a single cut without harming the wax. Failure was usually met with a piece of bamboo to the back of the legs, or at least it was once she was at a level in her training where to fail was to not be focusing hard enough.

For years this was the way he father raised her, training her in everything from how to predict attacks through the movements of the feet and how to look out for incoming attacks using the periphery of her sight. Every part of her mind and body was specially conditioned to create the best possible swordswomen possible. Eventually, on her final test her father ordered that she fight him and use what she'd learned. The fight was brutal and went on for an hour before Alicia found her opening, stepping inside of her fathers reach and bringing the blade to rest against his neck. Her father couldn't have been happier in that moment and once the test was over he finally told her the words she'd longed to hear since the very beginning. He told her he was proud to call her his daughter.

Shortly after being awarded the title of master she was gifted with a sword made especially for her with her initials embedded into the metal of the hilt and her family sigil embedded into the metal on the blade itself. Shortly after she assisted her father in training students as some day it would fall to her to take over in her fathers place. However, Alicia confessed that there was allot of the world she wanted to see before taking on that responsibility and asked permission to leave so that she might live her life before she would take over as the grand master of the dojo. Her father gave her his blessing and after some heartfelt goodbyes she left her home town in order to seek her adventure.

Why did you become a pirate: Alicia never intended to become a pirate. She owes a debt that can never be repaid to the Stardusk, both in honor and for what they did for her people.

Stardusk symbol will later be a tattoo on her left arm.

Position: Commando (Fighter)

Personality: Brash, prideful, brutal, cunning, and quick all describe Sara Masuma well. There is very little she likes more than testing her skill in martial combat and to ride the line between life and death. The only thing she likes more than that is if there is a crowd watching and cheering her on. She picks fights easily and does not take hits to her immense ego very well.

Special Skill: One of her biggest strengths is her versatility; because of her upbringing, she is competent in many different styles of combat, whether it's hand-to-hand wrestling or fighting with a short sword (think a gladius) and shield. Ultimately, the spear is her favored choice of weapon.

However, her greatest strength is her perception. In combat, she is able to learn very quickly from her opponent and their strengths and weaknesses to which she can replicate or exploit, either one the fly or prepared beforehand. This talent is honed by many trials in combat.

History: Sara Masuma, along with her parents, were taken and enslaved by pirates from their land when she was a very young age. The slavers took her and her family across the seas to a distant land to which they were separated and never saw each other again. Sara, around eight years old, was sold to the popular gladiator pits as a cleaner of the bloodied arena and, in the future once she was old enough, as a courtesan to the upper-level gladiators. However, this was not her fate. At age ten, she established herself as the ring leader of the youngest slaves in the arena, getting the best assignments and food possible and aggressively settling matters with her fists with those who would disagree with her rank in the pecking order. Because of her work, she was in a position as an arena sweeper in which she could safely observe the master gladiators fight and learn from their techniques without actually fighting herself.

It is because of this that she was able to survive her first bout at the age of sixteen. Because of her unruly and temperamental nature that was unsuited for courtesan work, and in an effort to draw in a larger crowd, the host of arena decided to bring in a woman for the first time to fight against one of the experienced slave-gladiators, as a joke.

And so, with nothing more than a short sword and her slave rags, Sara was pushed into the arena to face her opponent, armed with a matching sword, shield, and crude thin leather armor. This was a fight that no one was expecting her to win and this was a fight that was kill-or-be-killed, something that she was acutely aware. However, she witnessed her opponent's rise in the slave-gladiators' ranks and seeing him in action made her realize that he favored his left leg over his right. During the bout, she used this knowledge, as well as the techniques she observed from the higher echelons of the gladiators, to stall for enough time to deliver a devastating kick to his right leg, crumpling the gladiator down. Kicking away his weapon and shield, she delivered a sharp thrust down upon his neck, killing him instantly. In her inexperience, however, she did not escape this fight unscathed, receiving a deep cut in her left arm that could lead to her bleeding out.

The crowd went wild with excitement with this unexpected turn of events. The arena master, whilst deeply annoyed with the loss of his rising star, was impressed by Sara and the attention from the crowd that she was receiving. He decided to save her life in two ways, by attending to the wound on her shoulder, and by making her the newest slave-gladiator in his arsenal instead of sending her off to be a courtesan.

With actual training, Sara excelled in her new career, quickly becoming a crowd favorite. She gained gold, prestige, and respect, all things she never had as a slave and she took to the lavish lifestyle much like a fish takes to water. During her bouts, Sara played up the crowd with brutal executions and whipping them into a greater frenzy. The crowd adored her and she adored them in-turn, taking on the moniker 'Thorn' for her prickly nature. But despite everything she gained, there was one thing she craved above all else, her freedom. A gilded cage is still very much a prison. She knew it was only a matter of time before someone ended her legend, like she did to others before her. There were plenty of close calls, the countless scars on her body proved it.

And so, at the age of twenty-three, she took what gold she had saved up and bought her freedom, taking only with her the clothes on her back and the weapons of her trade, and leaving behind her great legacy as the first, and last, female gladiator.

Why did you become a pirate: After gambling on a fight she was part of against a member of the crew, she lost and is now very reluctantly the latest member of the crew.

Name: Jack Kunal

Age: 27

Gender: M

Appearance: Jack is 5’10”, with a lean physique yet surprisingly muscular. He has pale-skin tanned from years on the sea, golden colored eyes and long black dreadlocks. No scars to speak of, but has a total of 6 tattoos (not including Stardusk’s)*. However, no one ever sees them.

His apparel is simple: a long-sleeve white tunic; black waistcoat, pants and leather boots. He also owns a leather frock coat, which he wears on rare occasions. His primary weapons are butterfly swords, which he keeps on him at all times. He also wears a weapon’s belt for an assortment of knives, and pouches for his money, tobacco leaves for rolling cigarillos, and whetstone for maintaining his weapons. When cooking, he wears an old white apron with a single, pink lotus stitched on the corner.

*When he does get the Stardusk tattoo, it will be on the right side of his neck that stretches from his jawline to collarbone. The star has remained untouched, the ribbon a golden color, and lotus blossoms around it.

Position: Cook/Spy

Personality: First and foremost, he's genial; polite, gentlemanly, and always act as if he’s interested in everything one tells him. He's always wears a smile, or smirk, so you can never tell what he's truly thinking. He is distant; always careful about what he reveals of himself. He hates to admit it, but he's a spy to the core. He naturally changes how he acts (minorly) to match the person/people he is with. That also means he can be secretive and sly.
Other tags: ambivert, hard to anger, cool, collected.

Special Skill: Armament Haki-- strongest on his forearms or concentrated on his chest. He is working to use it across his whole body, but has only achieved across a small portion of his face and it is very weak there. Also an expert knife-wielder.

History & Why They Became a Pirate: Jack was born and raised in a brothel situated in a sheltered cove on an island called Norija. The brothel is named "The Lotus Blossom". His mother died in childbirth so all the mistresses took turns in caring for him. Even at a young age, he was kind and thoughtful and very much loved by all his "mothers". When old enough, he started working in the kitchen, only small jobs at first. As he grew older and more competent, he was promoted to the chef's assistant and there discovered his natural talent for cooking. The Lotus Blossom, usually a well of gossip but very poor, found business booming as customers came for the food-- of all things. The place flourished, attracting more infamous pirates and other underworld folk. At 16 years of age, Jack was sought out by a pirate captain to join his crew as the new cook. Jack accepted, feeling restless and caged within the Lotus Blossom, despite loving the people who raised him. He wanted to see the world...and there was nothing wrong with a little violence and stealing too.

Jack has been sailing for 11 years, and has been a part of four crews, most of which met ill fates and he believes he’s plagued with bad luck. He has gained a small reputation despite being a spy, earning him a bounty of $6000.
Name: Zilia(Zil) Vilimar

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Appearance:
PgJvoO9.jpg

Zilia when she does get one has a tattoo of Stardusk on her back near her right shoulder, the star symbol is surrounded by small letters with a weave of smoke rotating around the star.
She has amber eyes and stands at 5'0.

Position: Doctor

Personality: Zilia is a quiet and well mannered person preferring to speak with her actions over words, she has a strong will and an inquisitive mind, taking the time to observe the changes around her along with what stays the same. Her curiosity is hindered by her impatience however, though she enjoys watching change she would just as much force it if it was in her power, especially something that bothers her. This is a side of herself she tries to improve on almost daily.

Special Skill: Rope-dart. Zilia is proficient in using a rope dart easily able to stab and attack her opponent from multiple angles, fighting with the sharp implement up close accompanied with kicks if need be. It is however still a small object so clashing with swords up close isn’t a favored fighting style of hers. She has little to no skill with guns and doesn’t use them, same with swords. She relies more on her agility to do what needs to be done.

History: Zilia grew up in many homes, she has few who she calls family and many she refers to as enemies, since she’s not especially fond of going into every home, island and on many occasions jail cells she’s visited she keeps her history simple. She grew up with a kind older woman who taught her how to avoid dying in as many ways as possible, she eventually passed and Zillia left taking what job she could to survive out in the world. Her ‘not dying’ lessons eventually led her to treating sailors on boats; she used such leverage to get from place to place earning a little extra coin in the process. Having no real destination she continued this for years treating people as she moved from place to place. One day however a ship she was on was attacked by pirates, they didn’t have a doctor and she ended up being kidnapped. Due to complications when those pirates were arrested she was subsequently arrested, end of story.

Why did you become a pirate: Her life of piracy is purely accidental, she calls it fate to keep from succumbing to depression.
Name: Cedric "Sid" Langley
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Appearance:
prince_by_leejun35_d4uym96-pre.jpg

Lithe, well-dressed and graceful, Cedric embodies the ideal hero from popular romance novels. He is an exceedingly handsome young man with delicate features that hint at his mixed heritage. He has violet eyes that stand out even more against his pale skin and glossy, raven locks that reaches down his back. While he has his fair share of admirers among men and women, he comes across as effeminate to many people. This makes him a lot less intimidating than he’d like to be.

Outfit:

Most of the time, Cedric wears a white, long sleeved tunic. While the collar reaches halfway up his neck, the v-necked open is just deep enough to reveal his collar bones and delicate neck. He pairs his top with a pair of tight fitting pants. The hems are tucked into his leather boots. A simple black ribbon gathers his hair into a low ponytail. His other staple accessories are a thin leather belt around his waist and a thin pair of fingerless leather gloves. Suspended his belt from are two hip pouches and a quiver filled with silver bolts. A second larger quiver and his crossbow are secured to his back.

While out on missions (or wandering around the town), Sid would replace his white tunic with dark coloured hooded tunic. This top reaches down to his knees. Beneath the tunic, he would wear a leather chest armor for added protection. He would also replace his fingerless gloves for a pair of thick leather gloves.

His ears are often hidden by his hair. Anyone getting a glimpse of them would notice he is wearing a pair of mismatched earrings. The earring worn on his left ear is shaped like a crescent moon. A large gem the colour of dusk is embedded in the moon. Silvery streaks thread the surface of this stone. The earring worn on his right ear is shaped like a crab. A flat gem forms its shell. This gem is the colour of the seas. Bronze and silver speckles dust the surface of this gem.

Stardusk Symbol: -To Be Decided-
Position: Tailor (and unofficial Blacksmith)

Personality:

Growing up destitute made Cedric resent his station in life and he aspired to become one of the gentry. His ambitious goals resulted in him obsessing over money and being finicky over his speech, manners and overall appearance. Superficial as he may sound, he isn't your typical airhead. He is a wily fox waiting to pounce when you least expect it. Such is the defining trait of an accomplished thief and successful conman.

Tampering his innate ruthlessness is a set of esoteric morals that allows him to co-exist with others when the situation calls for it. He does this purely out of self-interest figuring that having allies provides him with more tools at his disposal. Only two people have ever been acknowledged as his “friends”. The rest are deemed potential allies until they prove themselves worthy of being his friend.

Outwardly, he comes across as a self-possessed individual, who avoids calling attention to himself. He prefers hanging around the fringes of any group, listening to the ongoing conversation. Every bit of information that he believes is important will be categorized and stored away in the recesses of his mind.

He doesn’t get caught off-guard easily since he tends to be very aware of his surroundings. He would have every little detail mapped out inside his head within minutes of stepping into a new place. He hopes doing this allows him to memorize possible escape routes in case he needs to use them.

Skills/Abilities:

Craftsmanship (metallurgy and gemcraft): For someone appearing so pampered, Cedric knows his way around the forge. He is able to craft weapons (especially bladed weapons) if he is given enough time and the necessary materials. Coupled with his extensive knowledge on gemcraft, it is very likely that he took up an apprenticeship before. He carries several small metal files and a pair of pliers in one of his pouches.

Sewing (or Tailoring): Cedric started sewing his own clothes out of necessity (to be revealed in IC). His hours of practice paid off considering all the bespoke suits he wears back home were sewn by him.

???: Cedric carries strange deck of cards on his person. Majority are blank but about ten of them have strange symbols drawn on them. Their purpose will be revealed in IC.

Weapons:

Primary Weapon - Aethurius: a repeater crossbow crafted from solid wood and a strange silvery metal. This bow is made to hunt larger animals.

Secondary Weapon - a hunter’s knife: a gift from his older brother. It is meant to be used as a last resort.

History:

Cedric is a master thief famous for being able to break into and escape any secure vault. No one questions how he does it but rich, powerful men pay him a fortune to steal for them. Some of his greatest feats include stealing the crown jewels from the Tzar of Zlatoust, the detailed plans for Fort Nevis days before it fell and the Kirkendall family “secret” (the navy refused to disclose more information about the stolen item).

Why did you become a pirate:

Cedric spent a large part of his formative years out at sea. His older brother was working on board a pirate ship for seven years. The two of them settled down in Trovale after leaving the crew. Sid was just starting his apprenticeship when his brother disappeared.

The only clue of his brother’s current whereabouts was a Wanted poster that appeared years later. His brother had become a notorious pirate. In order to learn the truth, Sid joined a pirate crew hoping to meet the man again one day.

Companions:

Chester - Cedric often refers to his Maine Coon as the “miniature lion”. The cat really looks like one thanks to the ring of puffy yellow fur around his neck that resembles a lion’s mane. Chester’s also has the haughtiness to match his appearance. He keeps most humans at a distance choosing to grace particular individuals with his presence. These people are the only ones allowed to pet him.

Chaos - a black Cornish Rex kitten with a big heart. She really is an affectionate darling that loves being petted and cuddled. She simply melts under all that affection and rewards her admirers with a lot of nuzzling and licking.

  • Iurin- An Island under the Ravens’ control where Stardusk first fought the Ravens, it was one of the few places the Ravens kept control over even after the Navy moved in. It’s believed one of the Raven’s bases used to be on the island, but was destroyed shortly after the Renegades took over, now it’s an ‘empty’ island that Ravens keep an eye on.
  • Savara- A naval base that ‘held’ information on the Raven Boss, it’s believed it was just a Navy base Stardusk and the Prophet’s were sent too so they would meet the other.
  • Gavera- A vibrant town at one point and a popular stopping place for most ships in between voyages. It was a place made for travelers, two of the districts were set aside for the actual inhabitants of the island, divided depending on one’s budget but the remainder of the town was made for outsiders. A vast market district filled with goods, mainly marine, a multitude of taverns, inns for weary travelers and a large square near the clock tower where most people gathered, for festivals and other such events. At the very least that’s what it used to be, years ago a cloaked figure and a blonde haired woman came to the town and slaughtered every person there, setting fire to a majority of the town in the process. The place was abandoned for a bit after that but apparently the Ravens had moved in and taken over, rebuilding most of the town. Three of the districts were still destroyed but ultimately the town was almost back to its former glory. Though its common knowledge in the south sea about the destruction of Gavera the unknown truth is the entire city was a Raven stronghold.
  • The Tainted Bastion- The Raven Fortress hidden away in a ‘ship graveyard’, it’s believed to be the most recent one built, supposedly a decade ago but that goes off records from the Ravens themselves so it’s to be taken with a grain of salt. The Fortress is essentially a city itself completely self-sustaining and is the home of the Raven Leader and has been since the Raven’s took on their moniker.

Most ships have this. Currently, StarDusk does not because we have no one to communicate with. They work in said of ways:
If your crew has more than one ship there is a way to keep the lines connected.
Calling the Government- because not just pirate ships have these.
Transmit to other ships and the likes.

Vice-Admiral of the Dawnston 1st Fleet
Baron Kelson Von Kelmore
"The Baron",
Ship: "Heaven's Hunger"

A jovial, gelatinous man. The Baron comes from a rich house from the island of Dawnston. Commanding atop his own commissioned ship, he has the political clout among the Navy to receive his choice assignments, rarely needing to head out for any missions aside from those where he is needed, which is a rarity with the exceptions of Buster Calls.

His current goal is to accumulate enough support to replace an admiral when the position appears attainable enough. His vision of justice is "Each knowing their place."

A navy Captain slowly but surely rising in the ranks and is a constant pest for the Stardusk.

There are four royal families who originated and control the trade system between the islands. They all have immediate connections to the Government. There are other islands that may trade as well, but these four have a heavy impact on the trading community.

Hallister Family
Waterdeep's kingdom is one of the four trade families, their most prominent trade being tea, coffee, and cocoa.

King Richard, Queen Natalia, and Princess Viviane are benevolent rulers towards their people. The people consider their king (age 48) to be a great decision maker and has been keeping the peace for over twenty years. Queen Natalia (age 40) is looked at in the same respect, however she can be a tad strict and scary. As the king always says, "Hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn...so listen to what she says." The people hope for them to live long and healthy lives and are eager to see just how princess Vivi develops. At the moment, she is a lively and curious child at the age of seven always with her trusted dog companion, Koi, at her side. There is also the royals Personal Servant, Haru who forsees everything and makes sure everything stays in order. He is also a lifelong friend of Richard and is the closest to the family.

Kirkendall Family
Name: House Kirkendall of the Sinter Islands
Homeland: The Sinter Islands archipelago (warm climate)
Trade: Lumber and ores, material associated with ship construction
Sinter Islands short description:
Archipelago made from islands of islands of varying sizes. Volcanic origin, hence very fertile lands, suitable for forestry. Most of the islands are dedicated to lumber production. Capital and major port located on Sinter Island. Active volcano island, Father Island, next to Sinter Island. Volcanic activity keeps Father Island rich with mineral deposit, but causes occasional ashfalls across the archipelago. Islands are officially ruled by the Kirkendall Corporation, who ousted the previous government and established feudal-capitalist society.
Short history of the Kirkendalls:
Early history of both them and Islands is lost. Legends hint at a Father figure, who made the islands by summoning an active volcano at the Father island, and rules the island from beyond his grave. Kirkendalls deny any allegation. Kirkendalls rose to power, when the World Government accepted them as major supplier of wood and metals for their Navy. Later on, made a coup on the Sinter Islands, with silent agreement of the World Government. Business and profits flourish after the takeover. Kirkendall Corporation established and becomes a real global player. Many smaller business sell their products through their supply channels.

Lendria:
Grothnor said:
Lendria's contact with the World Government is a little special. Technically, the Marines have had Lendria under Martial Law for the past century, at the request of the Lendrian royal family. Pretty much, Lendria asked for protection from the World Government because they had been at war (on and off) with their neighbor Cerania for hundreds of years. There's a whole bunch of conditions for both side of the agreement, but it pretty much boils down to 'Lendria pays taxes and provides recruits while generally governing themselves and The Marines protect Lendria and hold (a sparingly used) supreme executive authority over the country.'
Yula Fei:
Winter said:
The World Government is the single largest Navy of which all seas fall within their jurisdiction. They perform under the royals as instruments of justice and while other nations exist with their own privatized navies / governments / principalities etc, they still fall under the jurisdiction of the world government who could turn up at their doorstep and demand entry. HOWEVER! that doesn't mean nations such as Yula Fei or maybe Ray's homeland wont tell them to go away or reject them entry into the land. But the World Government would counteract that problem by sending a smaller task force to shore to deal with whatever business they have there, likely sending an officer or even an Admiral if the situation is so severe.

The World Government generally wouldn't challenge nor investigate any culture / homeland / nation that isn't breaking any rules or doing things they shouldn't and you'd find allot of these nations would know of the world government and have a degree of contact with them. Yula Fei is a special case as the land is more a myth that people rumor about, than actually know of it. I can't say how Ray's homeland functions, but it's likely most known lands by the world government have a degree of contact with them in ensuring safe travels too and from their lands. It's hard to really explain it in depth.

Pirate Lord is the term given to the strongest and most powerful pirate (and crew) in the world. They have conquered the seas and spend their days doing what they like.
The Worst Generation is a term that refers to the 5 top rookie pirates, with bounties over $1,000,000.
$25,000,000
The crew is segmented into divisions, instead of all under their captain's direct command. There are 16 division commanders and the captain herself and her crew, each division commander commanding 100 or so men. There was a grand total of 1,617 men in her crew.

Cutthroat Pirates jolly roger: Skull with lizard in the left eye
Name: Alcinoe Basco
Age: 35
Gender: Female
pirate_captain_circe_by_amandaramsey-d70pzt9.jpg

Personality: She's the definition of radical feminist. Occasionally her beliefs of women empowerment can be a bit demeaning for men. She sometimes looks down on them, thinking less of them. She means well though, only wanting women to know they're worth so much more. She sees all her crew as family, so messing with them will reveal a wrath one doesn't want to mess with. Typically, she's cordial with all she meets however she can be a bit brash and stubborn. There are times when she jumps into action without thinking, fortunately she has her crew to organize and devise a plan. Their organization and attention to detail is one of the main reasons Alcinoe managed to become number one of the Worst Generation.
Skill: Years of stealing has made her into a great thief as a pirate should try to be, so she’d say. Her swordsmanship is remarkable for someone who had to learn through trial and error and watching others. All of her skills have developed from survival, especially her leadership skills. The women she rescued- most fell under her wing so she had to learn quick just how to lead them and provide for them. People wonder how she managed to get to the top of the worst generation without being super powerful or with powers, but in truth her secret lies within just how well her crew functions as a unit. Contrary to believe, Alcinoe has also accomplished learning Observation Haki which allows her to sense the presence of others, even if they are concealed from view or too far to see naturally.
History: She was raised in a shelter for women and children because her mother was too poor to take care of them both. She watched her younger sister gradually get weaker and weaker until she died from poor living conditions. Despite such, she didn't quit. Alcinoe knew her life was way too valuable to give up. So in order to save her and her mother she began a life of thievery. There was no choice, so she thought. One day of bad luck ended with her being captured by pirates along with other women. Alcinoe figured out how to escape, taking all the enslaved women with her and killing the pirates who kidnapped her. The women convinced her to be a leader and long story short she began her life as a pirate. Her recruitment style is quite different from most. She 'steals' and saves women from other pirates or slavers and convinces them to join her. Some do, but the ones that don't are sent on their way with food and a little money. They may be a charity to women, but they're still pirates, stealing, raiding, and all that jazz.

Name: Saffron 'Saff' 'Catastrophe' Lagarde

Age: 27
a46b3eb0b10ea7b08fbfa2ea094d8aac.jpg

At first glance, Saff can appear to be a scatterbrain. She carries an excess of trinkets and gadgets- some souvenirs while others are weapons. They have a weapons specialist on the crew, but as the first mate she found that having skills in each practice would be beneficial. Despite her appearance, Saff is far from scatterbrained. Her disorganized appearance is more like an organized chaos. As she typically says, “Everything has a place and I know where everything is.” To her pirate family, she is a relaxed and loveable like the rest. To strangers, she tends to be a lot more intimidating. Looking into her goggled eyes doesn’t help with the intimidation factor. Saff, when carried away, can talk a mile a minute. She even has a tendency to repeat herself. She took it upon herself to learn the skills of each crew position. Saff felt that as a first mate she had to be reliable in all subjects. She’s not the best at all of them, which is why she is in a crew. Beware Saffron’s Kusarigama- or sickle and chain weapon. She is a deadly force with the long ranged weapon and equally as deadly with it short ranged. She uses various other weapons that she can get her hands on, but that is her number one option. Not only a master with that weapon, Saffron is an amazing tactician. She aids Alcinoe with all of their tactical missions and plans. She is also most of her captain’s impulse control when it comes to fight or flight.

Info: Alton and Robin Guarneri are a married pirate team. They are the epitome of teamwork and it shows in their rise to power. Both have quite an extensive skillset with a range of weapons, their favorite being guns of all sorts. Both originated from Brass Cape and occasionally travel back to their home in order to catch up or even share new inventions or modifications to weapons and the likes. Both are also highly skilled navigators, which they need to be because their ship is one of the few that travels through sea and air. It’s obvious there is no one without the other, and being married makes them practically inseparable. They’re pretty friendly and overall fun, as much as pirates get, but when it’s time for serious business, it’s best to step out of their way. Neither have devil fruit powers, but both share the power of armament haki, which hardens certain body parts into armor. Being the second leading of the WG, they’re a force to be reckoned with.

Age: 24
Info- Caleb is the shipwright of the flying minnow and skilled inventor, it’s sometimes joked that he’s a part time shipwright and full time inventor, mainly because some of his inventions blows holes in the ship on occasion. He serves the role of making sure everything is in working order whether it be a gun or the ship, and he does his job very efficiently, partially because if he didn’t the ship would plummet from the sky, which is bad. Though not as friendly as his other crewmates, he has no qualms working with others if the Guarneri’s are okay with it.

Seliria stand a 5’7 and tends to dress in very formal attire, generally pants and vest having little patience for dresses and the like anymore. Though it doesn’t show she is fit, the kind to never miss leg day since, she makes a habit to exercise to stay health and to to lug her weapon around.
Position: Cook
Special Skill:
Rina- A shape shifting sword that Seliria treats like a treasure, the sword itself is a function of steam technology. The blade is a strange one as the metal is susceptible to Thermal Expansion and reverse Thermal Expansion which allows her to keep nothing more than the hilt on her person and summoning the blade with a small twist. A bracelet on her wrist has a magnet which attracts the metal within it allowing her to call it to her person when needed.

Red Pirates jolly roger: Skull with three red streaks going diagonally downwards.
Name: Will "Red Death" Carabis
Age: 29
Gender: Male

Evil-Anime-Guy.jpg

Position: Captain of the Bloody Barrel and the Red pirates.
Personality: Whether he has some hidden emotional secrets or not, Carabis has a high superiority complex. He doesn't think he's better than everyone, he knows he is. Will is not only a flirt, but he's a manipulator as well. Everyone in his crew owe something to him whether it's an impossible debt or their life. In a sense, they sold their soul to him. This pirate cares for no one that holds no value to him. Carabis will kill without a second thought and without discrimination. There are only two people he would even remotely begin to care for and that was his first mate. Even though he can't say the same for the rest of his crew, Will wouldn't hesitate to protect them.

He has a very jolly and mocking personality, speaking informally with most people as if they are close friends and often using nicknames. Although Will enjoys conflict, he usually stays out of it, preferring to observe the fight instead of directly taking part in it. He does this to find the opponent's weakness.

Special Skill: Will is an observer. His keen eye spots weakness and opportunity. It's rare that one sees him in a brawl, unless it's something major like a Captain vs. Captain fight. He is also a trickster and defies the laws of "cheaters never win". This is proven by the many Davy Back Fights he has won in order to strengthen his crew. With each fight he won, he gained another flock of crew members. Currently, the Red Pirates have three ships in command.

He earned the name Red Death not only due to his bright red hair, but also because of his unnatural speed. A skilled swordsman, Carabis is extraordinarily light on his toes. So, as he rushes to his opponent, if they're unlucky, all they see is a red blur as they are killed.

History: "Wouldn't you like to know."

Why did you become a pirate: "Because being a pirate is symbolism of conquer. I'm going to conquer the seas and be the strongest there is. Along with being the richest. Wealth and power is what gets you to the top in this world."

She'll always wear something fairly provocative as well.
Miss Flor is the sniper of the Red pirates. She's is a flirtatious and mildly inappropriate woman, making dirty jokes or innuendos. She tries to get the attention of her captain, but Carabis has bluntly turned her down more often than once. Occasionally, she'll play the helpless damsel card because she loves the attention she gets when she's helped. She'll lure men with her seductive charm and end up stabbing them, much like the siren she is. She's often seen in revealing clothing unless it's cold, and her mark of the Red pirates is her red bandage that goes from her left thigh to her ankle.

Goodwin is the First mate. He's the person everyone goes to when the Captain is away which shows how much trust the captain has in him. He is the true definition of a first class first mate. Rin makes sure he is up to date with everything, informing the captain of the latest news whether it be with the government, or any major activity on an island. Just like his captain, he observes his prey in order to take them down. The one difference between them is that Rin has a much shorter temper and won't hesitate to kill someone if they annoy him. He is pretty quiet around most people, but around his crew one will hear him having conversations or yelling at crewmates. His mark of loyalty is the red headband he wears.

Twin Captains: Pierre and Paris Montague

Age: Hard to say really, the makeup makes it hard to tell.They look like they’re in their early to mid-twenties at least. Paris will explain he’s 2 minutes and thirty three seconds older than Pierre, but he just shrugs and says “We’re twins who cares!”

Appearance: Well, they’re the type of twins that dress alike, very much alike. In fact, they’re hard to tell apart.
  • They wear outfits that resemble ringmasters with white, long tailed coats and matching top hats. Though even then, they’re the type to change outfits frequently. Pierre wears Green accents in his clothing and Paris, wears Blue. They are the same height too, with the same acrobatic build so of course they share clothes- mainly to mess with people. It seems only their first mate can always spot who’s who.
  • They have matching tattoos on their left forearms: A musical anchor (like their jolly roger) with the tragedy and comedy masks behind it, the ribbon coiling down the anchor and into a heart at the end.
Personality: Often times, they operate like a “hive mind” completing each other’s sentences or knowing what the other wants to say or needs. They could even go to an extent of feeling each others’ pain. Beyond that, they are both bubbly and dramatic. Instead of fighting for the spotlight, they share it. The world is their stage and they must perform! The two are ready to dance, leap, sing, etc, at the drop of a hat too. Beware, they do have a tendency to rhyme as well. If around them long enough, one might notice something… different. Subtle. It’s hard to tell on the surface, but in the right lighting, one might see- ???

Abilities: This is where they differ.
  • Pierre: King’s Haki: A weak version of it that he uses to heighten the senses of others, playing off of Paris’ power. The heightened senses can make Paris’ illusions seem a lot more real than they are or perhaps will someone into an intense emotion.
  • Paris: Illusion Fruit: He’s able to manipulate the reality of a space around him and whatever’s inside. Distance he can cover: An entire ship. The illusions, if focused enough can become physical and interactable.

First Mate: Cecilia Pennyworth

  • 22 years old
  • Scholar & Pirate Fanatic
  • SD #1 fan
  • Impeccably book-smart brilliant. Not very good street/survival smarts (little fighting experiencing; tends to stick to defense or somehow avoid the whole mess). Hopelessly upbeat to the point of hysteria/mania. OCD.
  • Power: Knowledge Devil Fruit-- capable of “absorbing” the composition and physical traits of a person or thing with a touch. She can read a book, tell where and from what a table was made, and can draw a person to detail if she touched them blindfolded.
    • She can’t, however, absorb abstract ideas. Ie, she has no access to a person’s memories and anything of their personality is an educated guess based off their physical makeup, from clothes to physiology. Also, if she touched a painting blindfolded, she could tell you where and when it was faded, the paints used, perhaps even the artist, but not the painting’s subject matter because that’s an idea.
  • She likes having Paris creating illusions of herself for multi-tasking purposes, from general upkeep of the ship, to having a “partner” to bounce ideas off when postulating history, or a lab assistant. The crew is used to seeing multiple versions of her around the ship.
  • Brief history: Scholar parents who took her places she probably shouldn’t have been as a child and blessed her scholarly purpose to study pirates and immerse herself in that life. They were wealthy and weird. Very weird. (mistook the Court of Miracles as a weird pirate crew)

  • Age: 26
  • Knows all the tabloids and best gossip and is considered “in the know” because of it
  • Map is based off of nearest theaters and highest body counts
  • Performance type: Singer. His voice could be mistaken for that of a siren, which is what enchanted the duo captains into hiring him as a performer. Navigation came as a second and fortunate surprise.
  • There’s nothing really known about Sergi’s life. The two captains found him lazily sailing on a small fishing boat, singing a tune in a dead language. They were enamored and he was suddenly hired.
  • Personality: Sergi is a man of many masks, both literally and figuratively. It’s hard to get a read of a personality that is constantly shifting and changing. Around the captains he’s much more theatrical and ready to entertain. Around the first mate, he’s much more calm and collected making sure to have all the appropriate information to lead them to their next destination. So depending on the person, who knows what he’ll be like.

Legendary Pirate Henry Olanis

Most consider him a mere myth, a simple story to tell the restless or even to scare children. What few expect is for him to have actually been the second person to claim the Black Compass as his own- the first being the unknown creator of the Compass. Henry Olanis was very real despite the many rumors about him and the fact that pirates seem to be chasing after dreams trying to find the key to a treasure for gods.

Olanis had it all. A crew, a ship, a family. The Sea Terrors was what they were called. His group had been a well known batch of pirates. In their time, the crew had been one of the strongest crews on sea, one of the Worst Generation even. He strived for Pirate Lord but the feuds between the top four of the worst generation left that spot empty. His generation never had a Pirate Lord.

The most well known of the stories about Henry Olanis is that he and his crew found the Black Compass buried deep in the northern ice and soon after finding the treasure with it. To celebrate, the crew rejoiced for days and nights. Soon after, they began collecting as much as the treasure they could. As they all realized just how much they had, how many things they could own, greed started to take over. It started slowly. Paranoia started to build. Trust began to shatter amongst lifelong friends. And then the worst happened. The crew members began to kill each other off in order to take more treasure for themselves. After seeing his family killed, Olanis began to realize the horrors of what they had found. The Compass was no treasure, in fact it was curse.

Being the last of the Sea Terrors, he sailed in a ship full of corpses for a full week nonstop, back to the icy prison he found the Compass. Olanis tossed it back into the ocean and crashed the ship into an iceberg, going down with his ship.

But what happened to the treasure? Did it sink to the bottom of the ocean with him? Did he store it away somewhere? That part of the story has been erased and lost in history. No one knows...but every pirate wants to find out.

Davy Jones is the Captain of the warship Albatross. Some consider him mere myth, and he abuses that to remain an enigma whose name alone, if one would believe it, is enough to inspire fear and hope alike. Davy Jones is a very duplicitous individual as he portrays himself as cold, cruel and relentless, known as the King of Locker and Tyrant of the Sea Floor. Davy, known more affectionately as David by those closer to him, is far different from the image he portrays. Although he is arguably the definition of two-faced, he is often compassionate for many causes and sympathetic to those mourning their fallen. He abuses his name and has no remorse for what is associated with it because he knows what he has actually done and only plays his name for theatrics. David, in this sense, is one of the more kind and considerate pirates, arguably not even a pirate in the sense he never actually pillages, steals and has no bounty on his head, granted the latter is most likely because few believe he actually exists. In any case, David is far more than his legend, having a personal goal of his set and having stayed true to it for centuries.

History:

David Nicholas Jones was born centuries before the epic journeys of most recorded pirates. At a time, he was merely the son of a sailor lost at sea, raised by his mother, two younger brothers and youngest sister. His life was during a time of war, how he lost his father, and where he as well as his brothers were bound to go when they were of age. David, however, refused this. As he grew older, he jumped ship and left home before he could be recruited into the military, for whatever war was fought then. He left his family behind and attempted to leave behind the ravages of war, but it was a fruitless attempted. No matter where he docked, no matter where they went in the world, he saw the destruction and despair caused by war and humanity.

As the years past, David became more and more curious about the family he left behind. It became clear to him that leaving didn't secure his family nor even himself. War, piracy, plague, famine - it was everywhere, and running from it was truly impossible. Despite his best efforts, David had already killed several men by this time as it was impossible to completely avoid it at the open sea. Eventually, the curiosity became too much and he returned home. He found his mother and sister, but his brothers... they met the fate he ran from so long ago. His mother could only hug him tightly, but he hadn't the strength to keep from breaking down. In a moment of tears and despair, David refused the world he saw.

As David broke down, his mother and sister could only see that a war-torn man such as himself, so much like his father before him, had the same heartache as those that stayed on land. It was with conviction that his sister, Lilianne Jones, wished to join him in the seas, refusing the world that the land had to offer and hoping to escape with David. Despite his attempts to keep her from it, promising her that with his own eyes, it was no different, she insisted she join him. At this point, David was already the first mate of a ship known as the Red Chief, and with a little convincing, she was allowed aboard and taught the ropes while also being made an 'untouchable' to the crew. With that, the siblings set off, with little goal other than to outrun a world that had already surrounded them.

Years past, David took on the title of Captain and Lilliane became his first mate. The Red Chief was mostly a smuggling ship, small and capable of moving precious goods faster than most other ships, but at the same time, far less safe than larger ones. Years of luck kept the two afloat and even put bounty on their heads, but no one could catch them. The only force that stopped them was the sea itself. A horrendous tropical storm tossed their boat like a ragdoll in a tantrum, and when all seemed lost, the sea settled. Standing at the Crow's Nest was Lilliane, her eyes white and body glowing, the sea itself listening to her, her mind and her heart.

Although confused at first, time and testing made it clear to David and his crew. Lilliane had became one with the sea itself, manifesting its power, its haki, its life energy. Lilliane was so in-tune with the sea that after years on it, she had nearly became one with it. She could hear it, as if it was a living, breathing thing. She could feel all the creatures within it. She could harness it to do amazing and otherwise impossible things. This power, not of David, but of his sister began the legend known as Davy Jones.

Lilliane became more and more aware of the power of the sea. All those sailors that died on it were different from those of the land. They became part of the sea as well, cycled through it to become on with the water instead of degrading on the land. Lilliane could use her control over the sea to save the souls of fallen sailors, she could even bring some back if she caught them in time, or she could save those bound for Hell by making them live life again as purgatory. This began the true legend of Davy Jones. The Red Chief was hardly enough for his crew, but with the sheer power of the sea making David and his crew immortal and Lilliane controlling the nigh-infinite haki of the sea as well as the waters and currents of it, it was no hassle to plunder the materials to make a ship worthy of a goddess of the sea.

Years of plundering and a crew of immortals and lost souls working tirelessly to construct a ship so large that it could be mistaken for a small island gave birth to the giant warship known as the Albatross. Unlike any ship before it, the Albatross was built so that its masts and ropes could fold under and be stored in an airtight second deck while the ship itself dived underwater, making the Albatross a submarine that Lilliane used her power to guide through the water. It was large enough to house the hundreds of lost souls she guided to the light or helped find peace. This became their mission.

The sight of the Albatross at wreckage or wars gave it a horrendous name. Davy Jones became associated with the death and destruction wreaked, but the truth was, the Albatross only showed up to save the lost souls that the sea would have otherwise had no remorse for. At times, all it took to save a soul was to set it free of the sea itself. Othertimes, a soul had to be put into forced labor on the ship, cleansing it on the sea as a form of purgatory before it could be released to go on to whatever afterlife the world had to offer. That answer was left unknown to both David and Lilliane, but it didn't matter as they felt righteous in the work the work they had done.

For hundreds of years, and still to this day, the Albatross and Davy Jones still scour the seas, searching for lost souls to collect. They maintain the ship, which would have otherwise decayed. It is said that the Albatross has the remnants of souls from thousands and thousands of sailors within its wood and metal. Its ropes are like chains, its hull like steel, all because of the years of effort and put into the lost souls of the ship. The Albatross itself never docks, nor does Davy, as his life at sea is eternal. Himself and all those that sail with him are bound to live forever at sea due to the power of Lilliane, thus he makes it his personal mission not to change the world, but at least make those that live and die in it better off.

Naturally when his father died as a result of a royal navy ambush, Kai was devastated. By the age of 17, Kai had already founded his own pirate crew and by age 21, he had created his flagship. A massive 4 mast galleon a slow moving fortress on the water which he named “The Leviathan.” With this ship and a crew that neared 300, he quickly established himself as one of the worlds greatest military powers. However, this was not to last for longn Almost two years later, The Leviathan fell under attack by other pirates who’d grown jealous of Keelson’s fame. It was ambushed when they pulled into port after sailing through a hurricane, the storm ravaged ship was bruised, but not yet defeated. Unfortunately several ships from another pirate crew seized the opportunity to attack. It was on this day that his loyal crew met their demise, and his precious Leviathan was sent to the bottom of the sea. Only Keelson hiimself was skilled enough to escape from the ambush alive and slip away. After that Keelson disappeared until after he’d turned 30, and was asked by a young girl if he’d wanted to join her pirate crew. Something about her stirred something within Kai. He took a liking to the girl and decided he would protect her, and her dream of freedom, for so long as his blades remained sharp, and his legs allowed him to stand.

When they all separated Lily went her own way and by what she believes is a miracle was taken in by a kind family shortly after, it was there she learned how to fight with a sword from her mother and was taught literature from her father who wished to pass what knowledge he had onto her. She lived a comfortable life for a few years and she was happy but as time went by her life seemed…empty. After being taken in she had stopped thinking about what she wanted believing she had already acquired it and didn’t know what exactly she wanted to do with her life, she didn’t even have a dream to pursue. After some thought she decided to broaden her knowledge and travel hoping to find something that would fill the sudden void she felt. Roughly a year later Lily arrived in Utusukushi, and met Mary as she walked the town. While staring into the broken eyes of the young girl Lily decided then to do everything she could for the child and decided to enter the tournament. She made the promise on a pocket watch she keeps on her person.
Mary originally came from nobility and if certain circumstances hadn’t occurred she’d still be considered one.
Her father was a well known merchant who had an eye for quality and intuition that helped him move up from common man to the noble class, Mary was his first child and expanded his empire wanting to provide more for his wife and child, however he found that his shipments kept being taken by pirates perhaps due to his known wealth, he decided to counteract this by using pirates to transport his material paying them more than he did the merchant ships, this worked for a bit but unfortunately the decision came back to haunt him when the pirates returned wanting a bit more for the supplies they had delivered, when Mary’s father declined and sought to break off their business relationship they decided to take it instead killing Mary’s father in the process. Mary’s mother escaped with her and getting Mary to a friend of the family’s got her put on a ship and thankfully out of the city.
Mary got away but her parents did not and the pirates pillaged the village in the process destroying her home and everything she had come to known. The ship docked at Utsukushi and Mary was helped by her mother’s friend for a little while but the man couldn't care of her and his own at the same time, knowing this Mary left not wanting to be a burden on the kind man, a few days later he left town and Mary was alone telling herself she made the right decision. Months passed and eventually Mary met Lily who is the first person she’s come to trust since she’s arrived.

Appearance:

Personality: The closest thing Vai has to a personality is his fortunes, due to that it’s best just to use that as a basis. Aside from that he doesn’t really show outward emotions, always speaking in a simple blank tone, a sleepy look in his gaze as if he had just woken up and a strange air around him that almost doesn’t make him seem human at times. It’s believed Vai doesn’t really have emotions, at least anymore, this is betrayed by looks in his eyes which seem to be the only traces of emotions on the man’s figure, but as his eyes are generally empty it’s generally only a flash.
Special Skill: Vai is a fortune teller by nature, and he’s pretty good at what he does. His fortunes are known to come true essentially every time, the few times they haven’t Vai himself has mentioned the possibility revealing his ability to see changes in another future. Since very few speak of him that’s about the extent of his person, his meetings are short so should he have any other abilities it remains to be seen.

Name: Lina the Gunpowder Princess - Deceased
Age:20
Gender: Female
Appearance:
POSNp68.jpg

Rank: Green Raven
Personality: Lina is a calm and patient woman traits she honed being the Captain of the Lupus Noctis. Unlike her brother she is careful with her words and makes an effort to avoid offending potential allies and friends, she address all manners of situations with a level head and is willing to offer a smile to even the worst of criminals. On the other hand she does share a few traits with her brother, her sense of humor, occasional moments of confusion and drinking habits are one thing the two siblings have in common, though she is a tad more strategic preferring to think before she acts due to the lives resting on her decision.

Lina is actually one of the more calculating members of the Red Ravens, seeming to surpass even the leader himself. Her ability to manipulate and lead her targets was part of the reason she rose in the ranks so quickly in the first place. Her intellect is shadowed only by her cold demeanor in the face of her enemies, though she always gives her enemy the benefit of the doubt, a chance at some manner of redemption before she pulls the trigger, showing she has a small bit of sympathy for others, though she can count on her hand how many have taken that chance.
Mia being one of them.

Special Skill: Lina is a master marksman preferring to fight with her custom flintlock pistols she keeps on her at all times, generally carrying no less than ten on her at one time she known for her quick shots and pinpoint accuracy. Though she’s able to pick off generally any target from a distance she prefers to fight up close, her fists almost as dangerous as her guns, mixing her Armament Haki with her gunplay she maintains her lethality from any range.

History: Lina ended up joining the Red Ravens with Nura who she was fighting with at the time, Nura had come to Lina under the guise that she wanted the bounty on her head. However after a short exchange between the two Nura revealed she wasn’t really there to take her in but wanted her to join her organization, Lina not really having any place to go agreed to at least accompany her. It didn’t take long for her to bear the mark of the Red Raven afterwards especially when Nura revealed she knew where Luro was. He was a high bounty however, not the kind of thing a simple Raven was allowed to go after, so Lina worked hard, rose in the ranks, gaining her assistant Mia in the process and once she rose above Nura she put Luro down as her bounty to keep others from interfering as she devised a plan alongside Nura, Stardusk pulled into their machinations. Ultimately it seemed Lina was trying to protect Luro from the Ravens, Nura helping her in hopes of saving what little remained of the real Luro.

Bounty: Luro Makachi

Lina personally reserved this bounty when she rose in the ranks, essentially forbidding anyone from taking the bounty. Though she had to ask a favor from the leader to do this, she was permitted the right but knew deep down it was only because of what was planned for Luro, it just gave the leader an excuse to put his bounty on hold preventing Luro from dying too early to another hunters hand.

Name: Mia Nuroheim
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Appearance:
sGYwf1r.jpg

Rank: Grey Raven

Personality: Mia is known to have two personalities among those who known her, she’s generally playful and outgoing through her aloof personality which create a strange contrast in her expressions and words, though she’s generally a warm person overall and most of the crew recognizes it.
Her other side is generally when she’s with Lina formally as her first mate, her ‘serious’ half seems to shine through. In this way Mia is focused, taciturn and blunt her warm demeanor dissolved into a cold presence.

She’s as calculating as her Captain and is just as cruel easily willing to stomp out traitors and those who hesitate at doing the ‘right’ thing alongside their combined goals. Her cruelty is always executed with a smile as she enjoys ridding the world of those deemed unworthy, her cold blooded nature is carefully concealed behind her smiles however.

Special Skill: Mia is reasonably proficient in using the tools of their particular trade, her skills with her cutlass is average, she’s a decent sailor and her cooking beats even the Captain’s. Her real skill however comes from her immense speed, carrying a pair of Wind and Fire Wheels on her side she lives up to her moniker as the Princess Gun generally killing her opponent before their hands can touch their weapons with almost inhuman speed, this mixed with her Armament Haki makes her a powerful force on her own. Mia doesn’t use guns preferring not to carry them since she can generally deal with her opponents long before the bullets hit, so long as Mia is around Lina will never run out of ‘bullets’.

History: Mia grew up on a simple island with her parents that would be hard to find on a map if one was looking for it, she paid little mind to the fact her life was simple until she got a little older and started to notice that the quirks of her parents were more nervous habits than anything else. How they casually changed the subject whenever their past or parents came up, if a marine ship passed by how their faces would scrunch up and their whole bodies would be tense. Eventually she pressed them for answers and found out that her parents were pirates, though they retired shortly after she was born.

After revealing their past to Mia she heard many stories of their exploits, some told with smiles others with frowns, and when she was old enough to venture out on her own she already knew what she wanted to be and her parents though hesitant supported her dream. Mia found out quickly the rough life of a pirate however, becoming a captain was increasingly difficult as few wanted to join her so she found herself on the lower rungs, barely a crew member. Paid basically nothing and spending more time trying not to go to prison then enjoying the pirate life her parents spoke about. She suffered for years until she finally found a crew, though as usual she was more servant than pirate, however one day a woman stepped aboard the ship and politely asked for the ship, when they refused she slaughtered every person there, save the ones who surrendered. That was when she met Lina and the two have been inseparable ever since.

Bounty: Unknown it’s believed she currently doesn’t have a bounty, though her smile seems to suggest otherwise

Post Gavera- At Lina's request she has become the Captain of the Lupis Noctis and at Lina's request an ally of Stardusk. She wants to give Runali some friendly competition as such is aiming to become a part of Worst Gen. Though she's the same playful person there is a bit of sadness in her eye on occasion.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Name: Rasian Talias Makenhein/Rasa
Age: Believed to be 35
Gender: First-Class Male
Appearance:
WFBACNV.jpg
Rank: False Leader, Ex-Quill
Personality: Rasa is….eccentric. That’s the extent of knowledge on the strange Captain.
He tends to put on theatrics with almost all of his actions, and generally take things with a bit too much stride. Which puts his first mate in horrible positions, such as getting him another glass of wine while they’re being shot at by eight ships, drawing the birds above took priority that day. Though he tends to act out and play his ‘rich noble’ game a bit too much he’s to the surprise of many actually a decent leader. He’s tactful, and tends to be able to view a situation from multiple viewpoints to figure out the best solution. He’s also a quick thinker able to adapt to situations almost on the fly. It’s due to this he was put in the charge of the False Leader’s forces as he was able to minimally losses in almost every one of their battles over the years.
A caring individual but considered annoying when he gets excited about things he serves as trustworthy ally to many.
Special Ability: Rasa is skilled in close combat being an avid swordsman worthy of his rather eccentric nature, it wasn’t uncommon for him to deal with ships on his own; generally cutting down anyone that crossed his path. His style is an elegant display of swordsmanship almost akin to dancing, and his chain sword serves him well through most of his engagements. This coupled with his armament has made him into a dangerous threat to any of his enemies.
His real power however comes from his other ability.
Rock-Rock fruit- a Devil fruit that allows the users to give the property of stone to anything they touch while maintaining the object’s natural shape. Proper usage of the ability can allow the smallest object to hit with extreme force. Rasa is able to take anything he touches and increase its weight with little effort. Though Rasa himself mentions that the power isn’t really that handy Mia knows that he became a Quill by making a Quill lose a bet after he sunk a ship with two coins.
The object itself seems to maintain its natural form and speed for a few seconds after the fruit’s power takes hold, which could make a feather, coin or even liquid lethal upon contact. The extra weight does eventually kick in but by then Rasa ensures it hits his opponent.
The object will retain its increased weight until the weight destroys the object, Rasa touches it again, or a few minutes go by.
Rasa can also amplify the ability by increasing the weight and adding his armament to the object as well, this matched with his ingenuity and skill makes him a dangerous threat.
History- Rasa unsurprisingly enough used to be a noble and leader of four houses in his homeland. The middle of three siblings his grandfather put him in charge of their estate when he became of age trusting him with maintaining the family legacy. Rasa took the role seriously and did his utmost to keep the houses together and his family safe; whom he cared for with all his being.
Regretfully the sentiment was not shared and that very love blinded him to the actions of his family, his older brother and younger sister tried numerous times to divide the houses and take his position, ultimately failing due to Rasa’s interventions. When that didn’t work they attacked Rasa, knocked him out and left him for dead.
Rasa happily recalls being saved by an old member of the Red Ravens, one of the Quills who he befriended. He stayed with the organization having no place to go, and rose in power until he became a Quill himself. He met Lina soon after and after being shown the corruption that was seeping through the organization, some of it hitting a little close to home he vowed to stop it alongside his new ally.
Though rather talkative he only seems to offer a smile whenever the Makenhein house is brought up.
*Ex-Red Ravens
Name: Nikos
Age: 23
Gender:Male
Appearance:
rtmLXpI.jpg
Rank: Raven
Personality: A cool and collected young man Nikos makes an effort to keep his composure in all manners of situations. He’s a surprisingly kind individual who looks out for those under his command and has a sense of honor when it comes to doing his job.
He shows respect to those who do the same to him and is stubborn about his own convictions and values, thanks to this he can be preachy when it comes to his own opinion.
He prefers to speak with his actions then his words when he gets to know someone which results in misunderstandings most of the time.
He makes no effort to hide his ruthlessness when it comes to killing his targets and can seem overconfident in his abilities but he’s been humbled more than once, though he’d never admit openly due to his pride.
Special skills: Nikos has an extremely good handle on his own body from his years of training, building not only his strength but his endurance, he’s aware of almost every function running through his body at all times and if he willed it could stop his heartbeat at a moment’s notice.
He normally needs to enter a small meditative state to become aware of most functions however but he has a good understanding of his basic limits, his muscles and how far he can push himself for example.
His training not only helps him push past his natural limits by moving faster and bracing his body for large attacks, but has given him flexibility that lets him adapt to broken limbs, though he can’t heal them he’s snapped them back into place with nary an eye twitch and continued fighting.
He also has a strong mental fortitude and a relentless attitude that borders on the obsessive when it comes to his target.
However this pales in comparison to his skill with swords, carrying two what he believes to be Daito’s on his waist he attacks with speed and precision, he attacks with the two swords as if they were one and his footwork accompanied by his strength make him a dangerous opponent.
He does however hold back against every opponent he faces which is a flaw of his.
Nikos actually has extreme Hyperopia making him rely on his other senses to fight more than his eyes. When he does wear his glasses he changes his weapon and uses his real sword style.
His real sword style is one that relies on the drawing of his blade putting all his force and strength into an attack to defeat his opponent.
His style remains on the drawing of the blade, as such he can’t uses his draw skill with it out while using this style, though his strength at drawing it can easily kill lesser opponents making him a deadly opponent when he’s serious, he’s also proficient in fighting with the sword put away or out as well.
History: Very little is known about Nikos the Captain Hunter, the most that’s known is that he joined the Red Ravens due to an extreme hatred for pirates at young age, especially captains.
He trained long and hard to move up in the ranks of the Red Ravens and make a name for himself, and after a very long path and a few years he became leader of a small group who call themselves the Red Messengers when he turned sixteen.
He’s traveled the seas with his personal team leading expeditions against pirates and living off the ideal of the Red Raven’s, though he personally only hunts captains and after years of this gained the title Captain Hunter though his reason for this malice towards them is known only to him and he shows no desire to share it.
Originally he headed an entire unit but he was given permanent control over the Red Messengers when he was shamed by one of his targets, since then he’s relentlessly been looking for the man who took away all his hard work and seeks to destroy everything in his life.
He’s the one man who isn’t a captain he will kill.
He swore this promise on his two swords attached to his waist, which he won in a duel with the first captain he ever killed and he takes care of them with utmost care for the day he can finally kill his target.
Bounty- Runali Lev
Nikos has chosen Runali as a bounty originally because she was a captain, but he was curious of the captain of Stardusk, he knew the group’s success came from their leader just as much as their own actions so he wanted to meet the infamous captain face to face and size her up himself. On top of that she somehow managed to keep Luro in line, something that amazed him almost as much as their exploits.
Post Gavera- Nikos has done a bit of soul searching trying to understand more about his person after his encounter with Runali. He hasn't been too please with some of the things he's found.
He's closer to his crew though strange enough.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Name: Tari
Age: 21
Gender:Female
Appearance:
t3tmgZ8.jpg

Rank: Crow
Personality: Tari’s attitude could be considered skittish and awkward as she’s extremely bad around people she doesn’t know.
Her shyness makes it difficult for her to speak causing her to stutter and cut herself off when she does try and speak, she rarely looks anyone in the eyes preferring to keep them downcast.
She hates crowds and being spoken to and some have confused her attitude for weakness when in contrast Tari is very brave her social skills just need work.

When she fights she feels extremely calm, there’s no need to talk, no need to think, no need to be polite or considerate when she fights her entire aura changes into one of pure malice and she attacks with a ferocity not befitting her previous persona.
She’s extremely uncomfortable around women compared to men and will refuse to listen if she can’t stand the conversation showing her childish side.
Her words when they do come out can be harsh and unforgiving showing her malicious side and mean streak, though she tends to apologize for fear of offending even though that was her intent in the first place.

Special skills: Trained by Nikos himself Tari is second in speed only to him, her ability to maneuver and traverse the battlefield normally has her take on scouting jobs since she finds a way to climb, jump or squeeze through any obstacle in her way.
She carries a large Changdao on her person which begs the question how she manages to keep her speed while lugging the large blade around.
What sets Tari apart from her comrades however is her cheating nature, Tari will use any means necessary to kill her targets, throwing sand in their faces, poisons, fire, nails, explosives if it’s a nasty low down trick Tari has probably done it.
She prefers using her brain to brute force and exploiting her enemy is how she’s survived for so long along with her skill in handling her weapon. She does however follow the code and never uses such methods outside of battle, though she is a dirty fighter her skills with her weapon make her a threat on her own.

Tari’s real weapon however is her trusty Gun, a staff she is exceptionally proficient with, her agility is only increased with her original weapon and allows her to adapt far more easily to her opponent. The Gun is also her multi-purpose tool built for her cheating nature, along with forcing opening in her opponents, there are a multitude of functions in the staff, some of which including spewing poison, shooting out darts and dropping caltrops. When she takes this stance however she becomes far more desperate willing to put her own life on the line to defeat her opponent, even activating the pointed ends on her staff and splitting it into three sections.

Resentment Form- Tari can’t use Busoshoku on her body, on her weapon yes but is unable to use it on her body for some unknown reason. However in her Resentment form as Nikos calls it she summons her spirit outwards letting it surround her body, she can harden that aura in certain spaces to stop attacks, if she can see them. This is her ultimate defense making long distant attacks almost ineffective against her, though Tari’s true power is in her True Resentment stance, which is Tari’s ‘berserk’ stance. Her aura in this form constantly shields her from attacks, however she doesn’t control it efficiently and as such it runs out quickly in this state.

History: Tari grew up in a time of war and found herself constantly surrounded by violence. For years she watched as her home was destroyed over strained ideals and greed powerless to do anything to stop it. Eventually the war grew to a point where her home was basically nothing, and against her wishes Tari’s parents put her on a boat and sailed her to a new world hopefully devoid of the suffering of her home. Though Tari escaped violence in her new home she was instead surrounded by deceit and treachery, she watched evil triumph over good and dishonesty rule over truth more times then she cares to admit.

Even the supposedly kind hearted couple who took her in were no different from the people she had encountered, they lied and cheated people out of their money and lived with smiles on their faces. It got to a point Tari was afraid to show any weaknesses in front of them in fear that they might use it against her, the two to them were more like enemies then family.
One day her parent’s actions caught up with them, Tari who was asleep at the time woke up to screams and running out watched her father fall to the ground his face covered in blood.
The mansion they stayed in was on fire and she was barely able to see ahead of her due to the black smoke, she could hear screams in the distance and she covered her mouth finding it hard to breathe. When Tari looked up she saw her mother cut down the next moment, her eyes wide she watched as a young man with two swords in his hand wipe the blood off before sheathing them.
When their eyes met the boy approached Tari who frozen in fear could only watch as he got closer his gaze cold and his hand gripping his sheath, she shut her eyes when he got close enough to harm her, but instead of hurting her he held his hand out and apologized for making her an orphan informing her he wasn’t told of a child when he took the job.
To make up for his actions he offered her a place to stay promising no harm would befall her, something in Tari awoke in that moment as she stared at the young man, since she figured he could have killed her by now if he wanted she hesitantly joined him.
A year later she became a Red Raven.

Bounty: Alicia Tashigi.

Tari has heard of Alicia’s skills, hearing of her exploits on Utsukushi. Being one of the few crew members with two titles she wanted to see the woman given the Legend of Bow Black. She finds a strange hatred come forward every time she looks at her picture, something about the woman pulls at her and she can’t determine what it is.

Post Gavera- Tari has found that she has an easier time speaking, at least to familiar people. She still has an intense hatred for Alicia Tashigi but she finds less of a desire to stab her wanted poster.
She seems to be searching for something in herself that has no real shape and it irritates her.
She's talking more with the others as well.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Name: Nina
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Appearance:
JXSHNDq.jpg
Rank: Finch
Personality: Nina whole being seems to be either a fabricated lie or a constant truth as she’s one of the more strange members of the group.
A silent and expressionless young lady she tends to watch everything with a sleepy gaze as if she’s devoid of any emotion or interest in the world.
She tends to stare at things that interest her and is an extremely honest person when it comes to her own opinions, when she does speak anyway.
Her comrades have requested she not speak too often due to her…’eccentricity’ and some doubt if she’s in her right mind when she does add her opinion to a conversation.
Her general actions tend to support the assumption Nina isn’t always where she needs to be as she doesn’t seem to pay attention to her surroundings too often, her attention is always focused on one particular thing at one time as she finds it difficult to focus on multiple things at once, mostly because of her short attention span.
However her silent attitude has taught her to be a good listener and though she may not always show it she’s very perceptive, at least on the one thing she’s focusing on.
She attacks whatever task she has with the same attitude and in the rare cases she displays any heightened emotions the impact is destroyed since neither her body language nor tone of voice changes. Nina’s convictions are second to none however and though she won’t speak of them she’ll fight for them without a moment’s hesitation though her convictions can be strange at times.
She tends to wear extravagant clothing often but ends up tearing it at some point.
Special Skill: Nina’s preferred weapon seems to change with her mood, to those that know her seeing Nina with less than five weapons means something is wrong.
She’s a skilled swordswoman and can be seen carrying at the very least five cutlasses at once, on occasions she’s walked out with nine.
She wields her swords in each hand engaging her target with slashes and stabs continuously trying to cut apart her targets, thanks to carrying so many weapons her mobility is greatly reduced making it difficult for her to move around the battlefield quickly, however her endurance permits her to at least put distance between her opponents when necessary.
When she wishes to use what speed she has, Nina switches to her cutlass but she’s far better using her broadsword for strong heavy strikes, which is always attached to her back. She prefers adaptability to anything else and thus will switch her swords on occasion in the middle of her assault making her a dangerous enemy.
However Nina is far more proficient using her original weapon which permits her to attack both at a distance and with continuous speed, however she is unable to carry any of her swords or firearms when she uses it since she requires the mobility for it.
When Nina get’s serious she uses her dual sided boarding hooks, by spinning them she craters a torrent of metal around her and hurls them at her opponent, pulling them back to try and tear apart her opponent, the hard chain attached to the hooks make it hard if not impossible to cut mixed with her Armament, this mixed with her speed and skill make her the most dangerous.
History: To this day few know anything about Nina some even questioning if that’s her real name.
Nikos who was the one that found her believes she used to be nobility but that’s based only on the fact he found her in a very extravagant dress after one of his missions.
While travelling to the docks intending to return home he encountered a woman passed out in a very lacy white dress with red trim lining the bottom of it. When he looked closer Nikos noticed the woman’s dress was ripped, covered in mud on the upper torso and blood splattered in multiple spots front and back, some of it on her apricot skin.
When he knelt down to check if the woman was alive, who he would find out later was Nina, her eyes shot open before she stood up and ran away down the street with nary a word.
Intrigued and confused he pursued her only to find Nina having a full on conversation with pigs nearby, then a streetlamp then onto a barrel.
After the display he was tempted to leave her alone however when her eyes landed on him and she noticed his swords Nina lunged at him, when he defended himself he was surprised to find she was able to keep up with him for a few minutes at least.
Deciding to take a gamble he asked her to join the Red Ravens, she offered no response instead just following him back in silence.
Shortly after she was made a member after showing her skill with swords and has became a member of the Red Messengers.
She seemed to understand their rules and objectives showing she at the very least has some cognitive ability left.
Bounty: Mikchail Arcadius
Nina’s interest in Arcadius is a strange one, she personally asked for the target the moment she got a good look at his face. The information on Arcadius is limited, the group not even knowing where he hails from, they believe that may be where Nina’s interest comes in since she seemed even more willing to attack him finding out such little info was there. Since there wasn’t as much interest in any of the women and no response when it came to Ray or Luro they’re pretty sure she’s decided to recognize Arcadius as a specific person.
Post Gavera- Nina seems calmer than usual which is strange considering her already calm attitude. Whatever was bothering her seems to have passed slightly and she doesn't seem as singularly focused on her targets as of late.
She and Ria are still close and the others are understanding her more as she tends to speak with a bit more sanity...just a little though.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Name: Ria
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Appearance:
mxNt6IT.jpg

Gravekeeper form:
CYIiibC.jpg

Rank: Robin
Personality: Ria is a rather strange one among the Messengers, at least to the group themselves. Ria is an eerily calm woman with strange fascinations that border on the obsessive. It’s believed she may have a bit of Thanatophila and her somewhat creepy demeanor doesn’t help to assuage any worries of this matter. Surprisingly enough though she seems liking a walking manifestation of misery and despair most times, she’s more than likely one of the more functional members of the Messengers. She’s polite and considerate and always tries to empathize with her targets wanting to understand them, her outward demeanor conceals a gentleness lost within her strange obsessive personality.

Special Skill: Ria fights with two scythe’s attached to a single chain, she fights in a desultory fashion with a strange ferocity, her movements are generally erratic making it seem like she’s merely swinging at her opponent haphazardly. Ultimately Ria is a very skilled close combat fighter, her agility and precision make her dangerous as she prefer to force her opponent into a bad position before finishing them off, Nikos compares her style to that of a snake, trapping her opponent and slowly draining the life out of them.

Ria’s true skill however comes from her Devil Fruit:
The Mask Mask no Mi- The Mask Mask no Mi allows the user to mimic the actions of another person so long as they see it and it remains in their memory. From there the User creates a mask and places it over their face, the mask will grow a feature from the person generally hair, eyes or something of that sort and the person will be able to mimic the actions of the other person exactly, this can be a voice up to movement, including fighting. The Mask will only allow a repeat of what the user has seen and memorized and the mask doesn’t bestow strength or technique only movement. Due to this the mimicry is never perfect. Only one mask may be made at one time, if another mask is created the old mask is destroyed along with the ‘information’ gathered within it, though this doesn’t seem to be a problem for Ria. ‘Information’ can be added to a current mask but the user has to remove their mask, look at action, add the ‘information’ then put the mask back on.

Gravekeeper Mask- Ria’s strongest technique , when in this form Ria’s speed and power increase tremendously as she dons a specific mask that is a culmination of all her techiniques. However being forced to view every technique she’s learned is a double edged sword, Gravekeeper knocks Ria out cold during its duration, her body moving only on muscle memory as she has to ‘flip’ through the hundreds of styles going through her head. When she returns either from being forced to focus on the present or from a strong enough hit, the mask will shatter and like the others can be removed. Due to her mind being in a constant flux she won’t be able to make any masks as she won’t be able to concentrate on one specific memory, her concentration is also thrown off immensely by this form making her a weaker fighter over all.

History: Ria recalls the day her life changed every day, the scene flows through her mind and she can even recall the way the wind was blowing and the scent that tickled her nose. Ria grew up in a simple town, she was a mistress daughter so she grew up ridiculed and stared at almost like an animal. Ria learned at a young age to just watch silently as few listened to what she had to say. Her mother did her utmost to raise her with Ria taking work where she could but eventually she passed leaving Ria alone, a young woman named Aria who knew Ria invited her to stay with her. Though the two weren’t close having only met through work she was the closest things Ria had to an acquaintance. Over time Ria and Aria became very close, the two seeming filling the voids each one had in their lives. Ria recalls these times with a rare smile, but remembers all too well how everything ended.

Ria was never good at getting along with others, she didn’t have the charisma or confidence of Aria thus she tended to be the strange one in their town. That was until Aria ended up eating a Devil Fruit. Her power allowed her to take the mask of another, at first she did it to hide her face when she was nervous, but when others found out what she could do with it, they asked her to mimic others voices, to entertain which was easy as she could easily mimic the moves of others.
Most in the town came to love Ria’s power, Aria on the other hand preferred the regular Ria.
Time passed and Aria ended up sick and bedridden, Ria asked for help from her ‘friends’ but to no avail, they figured she could do it herself with her masks, something which was impossible without knowledge. Ria asked every doctor she could find to help her, she finally found one but his payments were beyond was a normal person could pay. Desperate Ria got involved with any job she could and eventually was approached by criminals, with her abilities she was perfect for dealing with undesirables and they asked for help offering a fair bit of pay.
Kidnapping, theft, killing Ria did it all to pay for the doctor, but Aria never got better. In the end Ria didn’t care so long as Aria lived, but Aria was concerned how she was getting treatments and yet wasn’t getting better without any explanation. She did some digging into her doctor and realized he worked for a dangerous group, when she told Ria it didn’t take long for her to realized she had been tricked. She turned to confront her boss only to hear a shot fire, the smell of gunpowder, two birds flying away from the noise outside the window, and her boss standing in the doorway with a smoking gun. That image is forever engraved into Ria’s memory.

The fading warmth of Aria’s body, the words she whispered to her, the sorrow that destroyed her and the seething rage that she experienced for the first time in her life. She buried Aria and still covered in the blood of her friend hunted down her boss, member by member. A swordsman with two swords and red hair helped her in finding him asking for nothing in return but a minute of her time when she got her revenge. His screams filling the air, his tattered flesh, and the red that caked her scythe’s, crimson splattered on the walls around her and her future leader standing behind her as red tears streamed down her cheeks, a scene she replays in her head every day, a reminder as she stares at the Raven symbol on her skin.

Bounty: Jack Kunal

Ria chose Jack for a surprisingly simple reason, she feels the two of them are very much the same. Jack wears a very well done mask concealing himself from even those close to him.
Ria figures this is from his time as a spy or perhaps some other matter, wanting to understand him and perhaps lift the burdens he carries she chose him as her target.

Post Gavera- Ria seems to spend a bit more time with others, her episodes have been less frequent as well. She seems a bit more clingy to Nina after almost losing her but she doesn't seem to mind. She talks more with the others as well.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Name: Kaim
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Appearance:
lECurv5.jpg
Rank: Sparrow
Personality: Kaim is one of the more easygoing members of the Ravens, nice to a fault he’s one of the more approachable Messengers. He wears a smile that can light up a room and his sense of humor lets him even understand Emil’s terrible jokes. His honesty makes him a strange pick as a Raven but strangely enough his open nature and sincerity makes it hard to dislike him, making him the general speaker or negotiator. Even among the Messengers he rarely shows anger, always confronting situations with a strange yet easygoing calm.
Special Skill:
Kaim is a master close combat fighter believed to be a master of a thousand styles, due to his constantly shifting fighting style. A skilled hand to hand fighter he’s proficient at reading the movements of his opponents and responding in kind with immense force making him the most dangerous against fellow martial artists whose movements he can read as if he was making the movements himself, a technique he uses against every opponent without hesitation.
Kaim has an extreme sense of control over his forms, each of his attacks flowing into the other nearly endlessly should desire. He’s patience enough to seek the right openings and bold enough to force one if none present themselves. This mixed with the power of his strikes is one of his greatest strengths.
Kaim’s real power comes not only from his natural strength but strategic use of his Armament Haki though he refuses to use Haki in its strongest form against weak opponents due to the fact he can break bone and by all means steel with the force of his attacks, thus he only uses this against opponents who either have Haki themselves or are able to fend off his normal attacks. He’s known to disarm his opponents as he has few defenses in his style against those with weapons, and forcing them to fight on his terms where he’s the strongest, though he’s been known to allow his opponents to use weapons to even the playing field.
This mixed with his Kenbunshoku Haki makes him a dangerous opponent to anyone fighting on his particular terms.
False Messiah- Kaim’s true martial art, a formless form as he calls it shifting his stance to a casual one and takes away the weakness of his fake forms, understanding what’s coming next. In this stance he combines his speed with his Haki making him especially dangerous as he hits not only with speed but even more force keeping his Armament Haki constantly activated. False Messiah is a lethal form only used when Kaim intends to kill ‘fun’ opponents. However this form doesn’t save him from his simple weakness of having to be defensive against weapons it just makes it easier to deal with them, and this form puts an immense strain on him due to the stress it requires to conceal his already quick movements, making this form a last resort a majority of the time. The stress on his muscles are immense in this form wearing him out faster, in False Messiah Kaim may hit harder but he also wears himself out faster. His Kenbunshoku is strongest in this form.
History: Kaim rarely speaks of his past since he doesn’t believe there is much too necessarily say, he grew up impoverished, suffered a little, did a few horrible things and lost most of his childhood to corruption and bad circumstances. There’s little good in his past and he finds no point in discussing such things and making someone’s day awkward. There are two things he does share with those who inquire, first was that he spent a decent part of his life enslaved, though he admits he willingly gave up his freedom for another. The second is that he enjoys fighting immensely, part of the reason he became a Red Raven was just to find fun people to fight, Nikos himself included. He used their information to find people to fight in his free time making sure to hunt Pirates at the same time.
Kaim unsurprisingly from his minor descriptions grew up in bad circumstances. He was put into an orphanage as a child left by his parents. Living in terrible conditions he was forced to work for the headmaster to keep from ending out on the street just like the other children there. Kaim’s only good memory there was meeting the person he would ultimately became a slave for, a young man who like him was unwanted, a young man named Pete. Every month people would come to adopt the children at the orphanage, strange types sometimes dressed in gold, or with the eyes of hyenas. Each month a child left the orphanage and Kaim worried his friend would be taken away, his friend was sickly and couldn’t do work like the other children, Kaim forgot how many beatings he had received taken the blame for his friend, just to avoid seeing his friend in pain. One day one of the adults came, a man dressed in fancy clothing clearly marking him as nobility and picked Pete out, Kaim not wanting to lose his friend begged to be taken with him, the man who seemed to be a merchant took both boys and what little happiness the two had at not being separated was cut short realizing they were only going from one hell to another.
Kaim chooses not to speak of his time with the man, Mills was the name he called himself though Kaim knows now that wasn’t his real name. Mills was in the simplest form a criminal though one who seemed to have a small empire under his thumb, and he picked Pete to be his apprentice continuing in his footsteps, something Pete had no desire to do. Kaim was little more than a servant for the two in the man’s home. Kaim not wanting Pete to dirty his hands with Mills business offered himself instead in exchange for Pete being permitted to live a normal life. Mills took Kaim’s offer but had no intention of letting Pete live simply, though he told young Kaim that if he killed him with his own two hands he could just take Pete away. In the extremely rare cases that Kaim tells this whole story, he generally ends it by saying Pete is living quite the life somewhere else now.
Bounty: Sara
Kaim dislikes Sara’s focus with the kind of strength she has, he doesn’t understand why Sara doesn’t seem to fight for Stardusk outside of business. He dislikes that she fights more out of obligation than desire even her time with them coming from her own pride than anything else. He’s actually disgusted at the fact she can claim to be so strong but doesn’t pick her sword up for anyone but herself, even more so if it’s for a ‘master’ instead of a friend. He chose Sara to see how good a selfish fighter such as herself could be.
Post Gavera- Kaim seems a bit more excited for missions, putting a bit more effort into his general habits. Everyone has a general idea as to why and don't intend on stopping him from working a bit harder.
He and Nikos still bicker but it seems more like normal conversations nowadays.
Name: Kara
Age:24
Gender: Female
Appearance:
2flS01q.jpg
Rank: Owl
Personality: Kara is a polite and well mannered woman with a penchant for misreading situations due to taking thing a bit too literally at times. This clumsy attitude though annoying to a few of the ravens makes her endearing to the others, her consideration for the well being of others and her selfless nature tends to get her in trouble often due to her trusting nature. She is slow to anger practicing patience and understand in every aspect of her life, even in the midst of battle. This mixed with her generally humble nature tends to make her quick friends.
This however is just a face she puts on to interact with others, unlike Kaim Kara is actually quite cruel and harsh past her normal demeanor, she is politely malicious towards others and is extremely judgmental the faults of others. She makes it an effort to educate such faults in hope of improving the person, but this is simply just her way of saying she has little faith in the survivability of others who can’t adapt to necessary attitudes.
Special Skill:
Kara is skilled in the use of her sword a strange but deadly snake like sword she refers to as an Urumi, her proficiency with the weapon mixed with her powerful kicks make her a danger up close and away from her opponent. She is most proficient at weakening her opponent, and ultimately hitting lethal points, with her knowledge she knows exactly where to cut or hit her opponent to make their next movement all the more painful. Her aggressive style offers little defense but her precision and careful strikes make up for her shortcomings.
Kara’s real power however lies when she puts down her weapon, ironically enough attacking with her sword is her way of giving her opponent a somewhat quick end. Kara excels up close with her Karambit, cutting and stabbing her opponent with the dagger mixing it with her defensive fighting style. Her strongest strength is her defense, her preferred fighting style relying on defense and responding to attacks, mixing this with her Armament Haki and her knowledge of the human body she generally kills her opponents slow and meticulously.
History: Kara grew up in a simple home on a small island barely able to afford a simple education, her parents working the fields which she helped with as she grew older, under normal circumstances she would have ended up taking over the farm, more than likely marrying and living her life there. That’s under normal circumstances however, an old gentleman came to Kara’s home, stopping there during his travels and met Kara’s family who out of kindness provided him a home during his stay there, in return he wanted to return a favor, and was a man of means. Kara who was a young woman at the time made a request hearing the man was a doctor, to teach her so she could help others. The old man agreed and after a long talk with her parents she became the old man’s student during his stay there.
To Kara’s surprise the old man was a little more than a Doctor, and there was a reason why he wasn’t in his homeland any longer. She found out when slavers came to her home and tried to take some of the people. Kara watched her teacher fend off the men, killing them before her eyes could even follow his movements. Her teacher was an old killer and a good one, he left the island shortly after and Kara leaving a note for her parents went with him, he protected the weak something Kara wanted to do herself, to not only save someone from injury but protect them from it in the first place. Her teacher had little choice in the matter as Kara intended on following him whether he agreed or not. Kara’s life after leaving home is a mix of stories, normally with the same ending, which is the death of her teacher, though she only smiles when asked about the killer.
Bounty: Zilia
Kara dislikes the fact that Zilia isn’t more selective of her patients. She feels that by helping pirates and other criminals she’s only adding to trouble and not doing her proper duty as a doctor. Kara chose Zilia to stop her from doing more damage as a doctor.
Post Gavera- Kara has strangely been accepting more patient than usual, not so much pirates but those that clearly aren't her type. She's still overly affectionate with Emil and Tari's been pulled into it if Emil is nearby.
Name: Nura the Onyx Child - Deceased
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Nura
KYnjsKw.jpg
Rank: Grey Raven
Personality: Her nature differs very little from her normal personality.
Special skills: She’s practiced swordplay for defense purposes and after spending time with Luro has picked up on a few of his close combat skill with his gun though she prefers pistols.
Nura goes into battle wielding a cutlass and a gun in her hand with two more attached to her waist, attacking with a mix of her sword and gun she can kill and enemy near or far with either her swordsmanship or gunplay.
Her skill with the sword is rivaled only by her marksmanship, speed and power accompany her attacks as leads her opponents into opening only to put a bullet through their skull in the next moment.
Using her gun she staggers her opponents only to gut them with her sword, her combined style of combat has made her many enemies and frightful allies.
Some of her moves are strangely similar to Luro’s but the reason behind that is unknown aside to the man himself.
History: Nura was taken in by the Red Ravens when she was captured for stealing ironically being betrayed by the very people she was going to betray.
Seeing she had already hunted a few pirates’ bounties they offered her a position in their organization which Nura agreed to seeing the pay.
Originally only wanting to be a bounty hunter she found the Red Raven’s ideals respectable and found herself wanting more and more to do good for them.
Her devotion and dedication got her an induction into the Colored Ravens, and after Nikos’ shame she was put in charge of the Red Messengers as they’re hidden leader.
However due to her promise to Luro instead of staying with the organization she left but kept in close contact with them taking on the jobs that the other members couldn’t handle.
Her dedication to her own ideals and the Red Ravens has gotten her in trouble but since she’s proven her conviction multiple times it’s been overlooked and they considered her a valued ally.
She received news of Luro with StarDusk after Waterdeep and after figuring out their location prepared to launch an assault on the StarDusk pirates, but in the end it seemed she was only gathering information for the real threat.
I should start a "List of Music that relates to PA" section. Just for the heck of it. And because you guys always bring in some good tunes.
But also yay for PA 2.0 being in the works~
Yes, I love that idea. I have so much PA music.
Cool, cool.
Once I get those OOC posts situated and cleaned up, I'll definitely add that section!
Woot woot! OCs are up!
I shall get cracking sometime today and tomorrow. My work project submission be delayed thanks to my phone getting souped. :c
Hey guys is that third post with the info dump of characters easy to read?
The formatting was just fixed (thanks to an awesome mod here). Now I just want to make sure it's still easily read (all of it really) before I move on to the next thing?
