Personality: The type to seem to be quite compassionate towards others even if you are rude, or have a negative aspect. Even with the family troubles she has had she just has a smile on her face and wants to genuinely make anyone's day if she can. No matter how asinine it may be she tries her best to put a smile on people’s faces. This led her clan to thinking she was to soft to be a clan leader, and that her softness would get her or many others killed one day. So whatever chances she had to be next heir were thrown away and placed solely upon Mitsunari. Yet her outgoing attitude on life just didn’t care, so she’s not the type to let what she considers minor upsetting things get her down. As for shinobi wise not much complaints have come in, besides being too cheery on missions. She does her duty best she can and that’s all her sensei’s could have asked for. Surprisingly despite being kind she isn’t the most popular person, saying she’s too sickly sweet.


Yet no one is truly such a sweet angel, in truth she finds great amount of happiness in the suffering of others. Which might explain why she is always happy at her clan grounds, her little brothers being shunned, Kouta being an outcast, Mitsunari being driven recklessly all day. It’s just a constant source of joy to her, even on mission when things go wrong and everyone’s bummed out. She is secretly thrilled about their sorrow, this doesn’t mean she does it intentionally though. She much rather nothing bad to happen, but she just can’t help it that when they do happen that it's amusing.




History:
Two years younger than her brother Mitsunari, she got along with him fairly well until the clan decided he was old enough to start training, which set in action the events that would cause future disdain among the siblings. They also wanted to see how well she would do, but whenever she messed up and just laughed it off, they decided she wasn’t serious enough for such a long term goal and let her do as she pleased. This for the most part involved playing with other children outside the clan, or cheering along Mitsunari. Yet deep inside she couldn’t explain why, she found herself being amused whenever she was around Mitsunari when he was training. At first she thought she just loved her family, but these feeling only arise when something bad happened to them. Never when they praised him. Same if Kouta was yelled at or shunned by everyone else for him simply wanting to show them his Ink release. In fact this was around when she discovered her paper release abilities. Although she used it as a prank at first, by faking her arm falling off. Which cause her mom to worry greatly until the arm turned to paper, and in turn the worry turned to anger, which turned to a beating.


She graduated the academy before Kouta really got into his second year so sadly she couldn’t see him struggle in there for long, and would surprisingly make it on the same team as Mitsunari. Which went pretty well, she was a genin and he was a chuunin, although it didn’t stay that way for long, as he would become Spc Jounin shortly. While she remained Chuunin for a long time, never showing enough potential for more responsibility. This was also around when Kouta and Mitsunari’s rivalry got more heated, to the point Kouta tried fighting back and getting revenge. Yet in the end deciding to move away.


She reveled in this and while she wished her brother goodbye, she felt happy about him being shunned to the very end. ALthough she became bummed when she no longer could work with her brother, and instead had to help out at the clan since he was away hunting Missing nin. She had to stay in the boredom of her clan doing Mitsunari’s delegations, until the Amekage retired and he returned, meaning that she would be reassigned to a new team, but her old team was long gone and she doubted she’d be on her brothers team.

Description: It requires to have contact with the target, when she performs the handseals and makes contact with the foe, paper bomb maggots crawl into the enemy's skin to which they stay inside them until activated. The most they do is badly damage whatever part of the body they are in, only exception is vital organs like the heart and brain. A good example of them entering it a creepy feeling of your skin being opened.
Weakness: She has to have contact with you for a few seconds for them to properly dig in, you can also dig them out, granted that requires literal digging into your flesh to remove them. Another way to counter them besides the quick digging them out option, is to either burn them with fire chakra which you have to supply to whatever part of the body they are in. Or you can stun them for a few seconds with lightning chakra, to then overload with your own chakra and make them stop working.

Description: Making the handseals, Kitana is capable of making as many paper birds that she can muster, some of which are just normal paper which upon hitting explode into a mass of paper and attempt to restrict them, and some have Paper bombs in them, which you should know what they do if they are in range.
A neat trick she can do with this is combine this with Rising water slicer, that way should the foe jump out of the way, birds shoot out from the water and towards their in air target. Which also shows that she can make her paper ninjutsu water proof.
Weakness: They for the most part fly straight forward so taking them out before they reach you isn’t impossible.

Personality:
Prideful as all hell, which comes inherited from his family. Each of his siblings all are prideful in some form and manner. He just happens to have more pride in what he does than the rest, and he feels it’s for good cause. He’s fucking amazing, his Kenjutsu is great, he can use multiple different weapons should he have too, his chakra nature fits and helps make him more of a badass. Everything he does he finds pride in. The only thing that he feels comes above his pride is his loyalty, with it being drilled into his head at a young age, according to his mother his dad would state to always be loyal since he was one year old. So pride and loyalty guide his way, with a side of ego when it comes to dealing with lesser clans who think they are above him or the Hojo clan. They are nothing more than peasants that don’t know any better. A pleasure to his fellow clan members and those they consider allies, otherwise he’s an ass too all else. Yet he allows them to prove him wrong, after all what good is his martial arts training if a commoner can beat him? Yet those that tried failed, and they only serve to make his pride even more of an annoyance to deal with. Yet he holds true to the belief instilled in him to find a master that will guide his blades true.




History:
Born as the first son to the clan made his father overjoyed, he loved his daughters and was thrilled they were following in the footsteps he did at their age, but having his first son was a joyous occasion to him. He hoped that his son would take after him in loving the way of martial arts and battle and all the joys it presented. So as soon as Genji could wield a practice sword, his training would start. Hours of practice while being an obedient child in the house made him quite a spoiled child, enough so that he was allowed to enroll in the academy at the age of nine. His teachers adored him there as he was just amazing at whatever they taught him. When back home he would continue his training there, with his family gaining the praises of his older sister. Genji absorbed everything right in like it was needed to survive, the clans history and their bloodlines, he was taught to be proud of himself and what he was born into, he was also taught that should they each find someone they deem worthy, that they should pledge themselves to that person. No matter what gender they be, if their hearts deemed them worthy then they should act on it. As such all the praise he received growing up brought on a pride in himself, where he started to brag about his skill having great pride in what he could do. So much so that he set himself apart from the rest of his siblings by learning to wield multiple swords at once. To get such skill though he ignored bonds with others, anyone in the academy were outright ignored on his way to the top, as were others in the clan. He had no time for friendship when he needed to perfect himself even more than he already was. This being the case he graduated at eleven years old which earned him a gift from his father. A helmet from old times, it was more so for pride to just have than to wear, yet it was a gift he would treasure.


Upon graduating though he continued to strive for further perfection, with all the praise he received he couldn't let them down, it was his goal, nay his duty to be the best damn soldier they ever seen in their lifetime. This prompted more duels where he would win some and loss some, the losses came from hardened experienced veterans though. So he took it as a learning opportunity, to become more skilled to be able to match their prowess. The further he advanced the more challenges he found along the way, all of which he would overcome with time. Even becoming a chuunin at the age of thirteen, despite the annoyed looks he would receive by his teammates for never truly working well with them. Yet he just saw this as envy, they wished they could be on his level but they couldn't. They were lesser than him, nothing more than insects that loathed that they couldn't be on the same threshold as the Hojo were. He let such looks fuel his pride, although this lead to him being part of several teams in his life. Since none of them could ever truly tolerate him. He would only consider himself the greatest when the entire world would shudder at his name being mentioned. Yet his shinobi life came to a halt abruptly when the Shoji oppression came along, which didn't really bother him. He would get stronger much faster being near skillful warriors than those pathetic teammates he had, his back got so sore from carrying them all the time.


It was only until the sword hunt came along that he picked up his sword and helped the rebellion out. He did it though for himself as he wouldn't be able to further his dreams if such things came to pass. he would joins little fights at first, where he had slain his first man. This brought an odd sensation on him, the man was less skilled than him far less but yet. He felt sad that he had taken the man's life, he had so much to live for and it was all just struck down by him. This brought him to have a conversation with his father who had a smile on his face and tears in his eyes. He had feared that with his son's pride that he would forget compassion, and that his heart would grow dark. Yet with his son feeling bad about the life he took, he felt happy to know his son would be just fine in the world. This was when his father decided his son was worthy enough, and gave him his Armour and the Six Stars. He told him each of the meanings yet Genji was confused as to why the first star was blank, it had no meaning on it. His father told him to read the second star again. "The first is for him." This meaning meant that whoever he did pledge himself to, should receive the first star. As they are the one they chose to follow. When asked why the first star was still around, he was told that when the first star wielder dies, the sword returns to the family and to the next in line, so they too can find their first star.


Taking his fathers words to heart, he would train even harder to seek out this first star, but not before he joined the battle at Magnhild/Hon estate. It was lucky for him that he had taken his first life and experienced death, for he didn't know if his heart would withstand this scene without seeing a mans blood and guts on the ground, dead bodies littering the ground, green grass died a dark red, women, men, children all void of life and the screaming, such agonizing screaming. It was like being murdered himself, yet nay this is where he took even more lives, having to hold himself back from screaming himself. This was also the war he lost his eye when a sword missed cleaving his head in, but took his eye as a just reward. When the battle was won and so many dead littered the ground, he wasn't sure how he felt. The smell of dead bodies would never truly leave him after this day, as such his family understood it when he didn't do nothing for a couple of weeks. They let him take time to process what had happened. He might have quit too but his fathers words resonated within him, and it snapped him out of his weakened state and set him back on the grindstone. He would repent later for the lives he took, for now all he could do was improve himself, improve his flaw. That way when he meet his First Star, they would meet a warrior and not a weakling.

Weakness: It’s a straightforward attack and not incredibly fast. So it gives plenty of time to dodge it.

Description:
With his six swords on hand he throws them around the air, with them being imbued by lightning, this causes a small hail of swords, capable of piercing most material if allowed. Once in place Genji uses his fighting style to attck with his two swords he kept and the four lying around, going as far as to switch off weapon and throw one of his current two and manipulating one he threw earlier to return to him, or even better into an enemies back. He cane make this more of a struggle with a shadow clone, thus this jutsu being something he copied after Kiyomi, just less swords. Thus less of an aggressive struggle
Info about the swords : They each conduct his own lightning nature and are kept full of it during this attack, so anyone that doesn't have a better affinity with the nature release will end up with a shock on their hands.
Weakness:Genji needs to keep the attack up. Also, he will be relying to use his non handseal lightning jutsu, which limits his ninjutsu use. Not to mention that anybody that has high enough lightning chakra mastery, can use his blades against him. Wind is also very effective as it can cancel out the lightning or blow the swords away.

  • Personality: Mizuchi isn't what others would call... friendly. At least towards the common person around her. That isn't to say she is rude either, simply indifferent and seemingly emotionless. This is because the girl sees no point in showing emotion towards others unless she implicitly trusts them, or the situation calls for such things. She has also been shown to be quite adept at both faking her emotions and lying through the years. One aspect of her personality she's never been good at controlling, is the distrust and dislike she holds towards the lesser clans. That is, the clans that she has learned to dislike from her parents and peers in the Hojo. While she is unable to hide it, the girl has managed to reign it in to only show on minor levels... but if one looks close enough they could see it in her mannerisms.

    That being said, Mizuchi's indifference does not extend to her immediate family and those she trusts. She's always been friendly and caring towards those individuals. Mizuchi is also stark loyal to her family, country, and those she trusts. Believing that there is Honor in loyalty to those who deserve it. She is willing to go to any length to defend or help somebody in need who she is loyal to.

    Interpersonal relations aside, Mizuchi is a confident young woman. She is anything but shy, though she is certainly not particularly outgoing. She simply is Mizuchi, others' opinions on that be damned. She can often be found reading somewhere peaceful, or tending to a small windowsill garden at her home. The girl prefers the pleasant art form that is classical music. In her free time she likes to train, read, write, paint, and to spend time with her family.





    History: Mizuchi's upbringing was a typical one for a member of the Hojo clan. Consisting mostly of training, studying, and learning what it was like to be a Hojo. Of course, she enrolled in the Academy at the age of nine. A year before her younger sister, Yumeji, did so herself. The girl excelled here, as her training back at home played a heavy hand in teaching her. Everyday was spent with doing the morning chores, then the Academy, training and so on. Something that most wouldn't like, but as a proud Hojo; Mizuchi loved every moment of it. She never really felt the need to play with other kids, particularly those of... lesser clans.

    Upon graduation, Mizuchi was happy to finally be assigned a team. Though... that was most certainly not to last. After a happy time that was much to short for the girl, the Shoji oppression struck. During said oppression, Mizuchi was still able to practice her martial arts and take place in Hojo events. Yet she was unable to be a Kunoichi. This really only began to bother the girl when she met with her former sensei for lunch one day, as he was a respectable man and wished to talk about something. The two were barely into their meal when he was attacked by the occupiers. Under the claim that he had been doing illegal ninjutsu use. Much to the girl's horror, her sensei fought back and was killed in front of her.

    Radicalized by this scene, Mizuchi joined in the rebellion and fought valiantly alongside her fellows. The girl certainly showing that the Hojo's reputation for combat was not just the stuff of talk. She was present during the march and battle at the Hon Estate. Here, the girl saw only the death of many. She saw good friends gunned down before her, and personally saw to the end of more than one oppressors. Memories that haunted the girl for some time to come. Though unlike her sister, Mizuchi did not feel like giving up her lifestyle. Instead, she was inspired to work harder by those events. Figuring that she could learn more and grow stronger; then less people she cared about would have to die. So trained and trained, receiving her own set of armor as a gift during this time. She has since trained to be... better. To prevent further friends and loved ones from dying.

    Description: Mizuchi's weapon of choice, an elegant Katana forged from chakra conductive metal in the forges of the Hojo.   • Personality: Sen is open and very friendly. She likes to give chance after chance to people even if they messed up. Sen views everything as "the glass is half full" instead of half empty. She's sweet and hopeful, feircely loyal to those she cares about. Sen is slow to anger due to her almost endless amount of patience. If she becomes angered, then it is short lived and doesn't do much. The few people that truly know her would say she is sometimes too trusting but not gullible. Despite her laid back and easy going attitude, she does take her responsibilities seriously. Sen is a little bit of a people pleaser but doesn't let herself get taken advantage of. She loves seeing those around her and becomes overjoyed when her friends happy. This doesn't work in the reverse, Sen doesn't become depressed around those that are upset. Due to her patience Sen isn't likely to rush into bad situations or any situation. In a combat situation, she prefers to attack from a distance.


    History:
    Sen was born in the hospital on a rather stormy day, she came into the world with bright blue eyes and a mop of bright red hair. Unfortunately, her mother handed her off to one of the nurses almost as soon as she was able to. The nine months she spent in the womb was probably the longest she had ever been with her mother. Her father was not warm in the least, he was distant and saw her as a distraction.

    She learned from an early age not to bother her parents, they were after all busy people and couldn't entertain her all the time or ever. As long as there was food to eat and a roof over their heads then there was no problem.

    Once she could walk her parents began going away on diplomatic missions and leaving her with neighbors to care for her. This didn't bother Sen for some time as she was too young to think much about it. The phrase 'it takes a village' certainly applied to her childhood as her parents were almost never home anymore. She liked to spend most of her time in Cho Temple Library reading books and then wandering the village. Sen enjoyed playing with the other kids but never invited any of them home.

    Sen decided to become a kunoichi and to her disappointment, her parents seemed not to care. Her mothers only response was "that's nice, dear." Around this time she started feeling bothered about her parents lack of interest or care for her. She wouldn't admit it to anyone but it was quite hard to be at home even if they were home. Sen joined the Academy at age 11 and graduated two years later.

    Taishiro is an atheltic boy, who is quite in shape though he isn't exactly overly-muscular. He has a light complexion with jet black hair, and deep brown eyes. He stands around 5' 7, a bit on the tall side. Taishiro usually wears darker colors, such as deep blues and black. He, more often than not, also dresses mostly in long-sleeved clothing despite what the weather may be. Causing his skin to be a bit paler than it should be.




  • Personality:
    Taishiro has always been a pretty outgoing person, seeking to establish a strong bond with those around him. The boy has been known to have a rather kind heart, trying to see the good in people and help those in need. He also does have a tendency to come off as a bit of a flirt towards others, though only occsionally is he actually making an attempt to flirt with them. The boy is fiercly loyal to both the people and the Republic itself, as he has seen the improvements it has brought to many lives in comparsion to the times of the Oppression.

    Taishiro is also a tad bit protective over his friends, and would not hesitate to lend a hand to help protect a friend or ally. While he will occsionally act without thinking to help others, Taishiro is usually rather intelligent and thoughtful about his actions. Taishiro has, in recent years, had to do a bit of growing up. As his mother died only a year ago, and his father in ailing state; the boy has been forced to take up a more responsible role. The results of this being that Taishiro gained a newfound respect for the work others do in their lives, and a great amount of patience thanks to having to wait on his ailing father.



    History:
    Taishiro was born to two loving parents, and grew up an only child. They took good care of the boy and taught him the values he holds dear today. As a young boy, he would often roam around the city he called home, talking to others and making friends. From here, the boy would begin to see the roots of his undying loyalty take root. During the Oppression, Taiahiro found it hard to simply back down and give up what he was being trained to do. His parents, both having been shinobi, struggled to find work. As they ran out of money, the boy watched the growing depression in his parents and hated every second. Wanting desperately to do something to help out his family, as well as all of those he saw suffering from the oppression. During this time, his mother fell horribly ill. Taishiro watched as she fell apart, unable to do anything on her own and needing constant care. Whenever they sought help, none came for his mother. Not long after she passed away after succumbing to the disease. The anger that the boy felt at how nobody would help his poor, dying mother flooded through and was something he could never forget. When they lifted the ban on the shinobi arts, Taishiro was happy to see his own situation, but moreso that of others lift as a result.

    As he grew older his bonds and loyalty to others would only grow stronger, and when the Republic had dawned he saw a chance for those he cared about to prosper. In the Republic, Taishiro saw a chance for all those around him. What he saw, was a chance for something that would not see ailing citizens go completely ignored; and even denied help. It was a place where his mother would've lived, and to Taishiro... that was something worth upholding. During his time at the academy, Taishiro's father fell ill. The difference this time being that his ailment had no cure, unlike that of his mother's. Because of this, Taishiro has had to step up and start taking care of his father in his waning days. Upon graduation, Taishiro was gifted the Ninjato his father had used in his career. A gift from a dying man to his son, a weapon passed down to the next generation. Having oracticed both Kenjutsu and Taijutsu with his father when he was younger, Taishiro was confident he could use the weapon well. As a gift from his dying father, Taishiro values the weapon greatly because it will forever carry the memory of the parents he loves so. With his weapon, and determination to make father proud, Taishiro felt he was ready to set out into the world. Ready to prove himself as a valuable person to the Republic, and to protect the people he has come to care about.

Ameko is the type of girl who would run up to the biggest person in the room and starts a fight. To her, nobody is bigger or scarier. She is afraid of no one and expects everyone to bow down to her. She thinks of her self like a princess and acts like one. That is not to say that this princess cannot get dirty. She is not afraid to step off her pedestal and show others how things are done because is obvious the best at everything. Even if she is completely terrible at something, she will gloat and boost like the world can do no better. If someone does better, then she will chalk it up to them cheating and refuse to (publicly) acknowledge it. Inside though, she gets really burnt up when she loses at something. There have been days when she would disappear to practice something because someone was better then her. If she cannot do something, then she really gets mad. Also, Ameko has a really bad temper. She can easily get angry over trivial things if provoked long enough and drop her uppity mentality to drop the hammer on others. After all, she is a monster and monsters don't take crap from lesser beings.
(note. She is not so misconstrued that she thinks she can really beat people like jonin or the tail beast as a new genin. She just enjoys talking crap and saying she can. If she really gets into an situation she cannot win, she will call the other person a cheater and try to run away or play it safe.)

Being the self proclaim unstoppable monster that she thinks she is, she is not below following the rules. Monsters don't play by the rules. They do whatever it takes from lie to cheat to steal. If she cannot beat you but nothing serious will come if she loses (or she is force to fight) then she will bluff like she can. She will talk the talk, make up stories, even try to push her abilities to the limit while pretending she is not even trying. However she is not a bad person at heart. Her dream is prove her clan is the strongest and not the weak people the last generation was. Since she is the first person since her great grandparents day to graduate from the academy, there are a lot of eyes on her and she would be darn to let them see something weak. After all, monsters are not weak.

It is one thing to lose because someone was just better then you. However when you one up Ameko and embarrass her, then you are in for a world of hurt. See Ameko is a very busy person. She has to be great for her clan. She has to teach scrubs how to properly serve her. She even protects her country. The last thing she has time for is some prick who thinks they are better then the Great Slime Monster herself. So the first thing on her to do list is get back at the bastard who dares pisses her off. In a fight, expect her to pay back cheap tricks with shear power. If you play a prank on her, expect to get slime in the face. If you beat her at a competition, expect to get sabotaged or destroyed in round 2. While she can tolerate losing to others because she knows she can get better, she won't tolerate being made to look like a fool. Nobody makes a monster look like a fool.

Despite how much she acts like she is the solo star of her own world, Ameko actually has a secret life she tells no one. For someone who acts as spoil as she does, she actually tries to live very modest. She always sends some of her money home to help her parents. She gives to those in need (when not being watched by her friend). If her minions need her help, she is happy to help them out under the guise of being a great boss. It would not be surprising to find something you need in your door step after being around her. She also does not like being known for being nice and will deny to the point of destroying the so called gift to prove it wasn't her. (though this makes her feel very bad and the gift will return to the owner sometime later that week.)



History:

Ameko comes from a clan once rumored to be very strong. Old stories tell how other people feared the Flani and there onslaught, how a single ninja was the equivalent of an army. When nobody was able to top the clan, its people became bored and arrogant. They wished for a challenge and someone who could compete with them. One day there wish was granted but not how they expected. A curse fell upon the Flani and there abilities were stripped so that they were just normal humans. These were the stories told to a young girl born with a gift. The daughter of a poor couple who where season workers, Ameko almost did not existed. For some unknown reason, carrying Ameko was very taxing on her body. The mother was always ill and was unable to work, thus putting more stress on her father. It became so bad that the mother was planing to rid herself of the baby so that she could help her husband work. When the father found out, he stopped her and promised that their baby would be a blessing. Little they know he was right.

When she was born, she was heavier then the average baby and the doctors noticed a mass in the baby. It did not cause any problems but the parents were worried. On her 3rd birthday, two men came to take Ameko from her parents because she had a hidden gift. That mass inside of her was what was known as the slime core and would give her access to the secret ninja art that the founders of Flani once had. Her parents cried not wanting to give her up but when the men promised a better life for her, they could not refuse. Ameko was trained to unlock the secrets of her ability from ancient teachings and sent to the academy. She was treated like a princess and extremely spoiled. She got anything she wanted and nobody dared spoke down to her. However with all this, there was one thing she was denied. She was only allowed to visit her family 2 times a year. This was to keep up her image as the future hope of the clan. After graduating from the academy, she moved out of the Honey Country. Because of how poor her family was, they could never visit her, but she works hard every day sending them money and saving up in hopes that she could bring them to her.

Description: Unlocks the Flan slime core and allows the use of Flan techniques. These flan techniques grant access to a substance that is excreted from the users body dubbed slime. (It has no official name since there no documentation of studies of this substance or its qualities) However through use and practice, the Flani have learned that the substance cannot be broken down and is immune to all known chemical reactions. The slime can dissolve organic non living animal matter to fuel it's use. This slime does not have a strong bond and is easily separated. If the user is actively controlling a section of the slime, it has a stronger bond with the slime around it. This boost in strength raises the smaller the volume being controlled and the closer it is to the users slime core. The maximum strength is that of tar. The default strength of slime is equivalent that of bee's sugary honey.

Weakness: Once activated, it slowly drains charka and calories. Fire can evaporate the slime. Lightning can easily reach the user through the slime. The effects of water are unknown but it is assumed that large bodies of water could dilute the slime. slime requires direct contact with the user or user's slime core to be manipulated. Nobody knows how it taste though as users tend to find it weird and creepy that anybody would want to eat their jutsu. Like they Physically feel creep out by it.

To the outside world Gavin is a serious person, a silent shadow who follows orders to a tee without question. He appears as the perfect soldier just like the higher ups like to see him. And true to form, Gavin is that person in a way. He doesn't need much in life, doesn't own much, doesn't do much besides his job. As soon as he joined the ANBU corps he knew that his life was no longer his, but belonged to the state even more than when he was just a shinobi. And he accepted that. Gavin is not one to ask questions. Not for missions, not in normal life. He just accepts things the way they are. If he needs to know something about them someone will tell them to him or he will figure it out by himself.

Behind the mask of a mindless soldier lies Gavin's intelligence. Depite the fact that it seems like he doesn't use it much, Gavin has always had his wits about him which helps him tremendiously in the field along with his special set of abilities as a Sound Release user. Gavin doesn't like to flounder his intelligence. Not one for attention, Gavin prefers to be the silent figure behind the screens. And if keeping the realm safe means that he has to murder then that is what it is going to take. Honor and pride are concepts he understands, just not always adheres to.

Gavin is then not the most social person. He can work with anyone that he needs to work with and generally can communicate easily with everyone, but only a few can actually call him a friend. This is not because of his dislike of people, but rather because he knows that as an ANBU keeping friends might be difficult. He often works solo, which suits him just fine, meaning he is away from the city for longer periods of time.



History:

Gavin was the only child of Sadao and Izumi Otonari, a normal couple of shinobi who had moved to the country side when they had learned they were going to have a baby. Not wanting their son to grow up in the business of the city, they raised their child within the endless hills of the land of Lightning, making the soft grass and steep rocks his home before they made him familiar with the life in the city.

Yet when they did eventally move back to the city they fell back in their old routine. His parents went back into the military and Gavin went to the Academy. He was a bright student though not one that stood out overly much. Despite him trying to keep his skills mostly to himself his teacher noticed the brightness in the boy and gave him some extra excercises to work with. Soon he would graduate and move into his first team. Thoughout the years he proved himself to be a strong fighter and a good ally. He had a perfect mission record and his skill with Sound Release kept growing.

When Gavin was 17 he met a girl, her name was Ren. And she was really pretty. The two spent a couple of quality nights together and figured that they would spent some more quality time together when the war was over. The war stopped all the plan as it always did. Already a Specialized Jounin at the time Gavin was already sent on some pretty high ranked missions often taking the lead and often ending up by himself. But he fought. And his parents fought. And by some miracle they all survived. And they returned home. It was then that Gavin found out that those couple of nights had made a father out of him. 21 now, Gavin was met with the face of his daughter for the first time: Yumiko. Already four, the girl had grown up with the message that someday her father might come home from the battlefront, yet when he did there was a strangeness between the two as if they both didn't know how to react to one another. Yet this awkwardness quickly faded and for a year Gavin spent his days in peace with his now wife and child. It was pretty good. He didn't expect to be a father that young, but wasn't one to object. Life was short, war had taught him that.

But that peace in his life wouldn't last. Gavin had remained on active duty and had spent some exceptional days in the field so much that the current Raikage, Genmyou, selected him to be an ANBU. There was not really a question whether he would accept it or not, the Raikage decreed it so to be. He needed Gavin for special operations. With the heavy news Gavin returned home. He knew perfectly well that as an ANBU under Genmyou he was not expected to have any form of personal connections which means that having a family was out of the question.

Leaving his family, his daughter, his wife, was the hardest thing Gavin had ever done and it would be the hardest thing he would ever do. He did it though. He told his wife that he couldn't be her husband any longer. He was pretty sure she understood in some way why, but not in others. Closing the door of his house for the last time was something he would long repeat in his dreams.

Gavin spent many years being an ANBU, performing to the best of his abilities. He didn't feel any resentment towards the Raikage for taking him away from his family for in a way this was the best way he could protect them from everything. If them being safe meant not being around them then that was a price he would pay. Yet it hurt. Among the ANBU he did not have many friends, but over time he gained a couple of close comrades. Yet, more and more he was sent out to do solo missions.

As the reign shifted away from Genmyou and to a new Raikage and then another, Gavin found the rules regarding ANBU slightly slackening. No longer were ANBU expected to completely abandon their personal life. It was a nice sentiment, but it was a bit too late for Gavin. He had already given the country everything he had and he knew that Ren had moved on. He had seen it on the countless nights he had observed his old house from the distance using Sound Release to hear the voices he missed so much. He would always keep an eye on them.

There is still no resentment within Gavin's mind. After so many years as a highly valued ANBU he has gained an understanding of his life and yet he feels like he has lost himself as well. Ren and Yumiko keep him tied to his past and yet he is no longer that man. He is more the ANBU now, the Silent Hunter was the name he received. More an ANBU than an actual man. All that is left to figure out is where that will bring him in the end.

Description: After performing the needed handseals, Gavin reaches for a metalic throwing projectile (preferably his Senbon). The chakra quickly infuses into weapon and Gavin proceeds to throw it at an opponent. Once projectiles clash into solid surface (preferable another metallic or stone object- which provides optimal sound creation) chakra amplifies the sound waves created in the clash. Chakra within the weapon is released and greatly intensifies sound. The sound generated only reaches a maximum of a 5 foot radius, which is why Gavin will want the projectile to be blocked by his opponent. The five foot radius is sufficient to harm the opponent and cannot be increased in anyway. The opponent who falls for this move will suffer searing pain in their ear, minor disorientation, and the inability to hear for a short while.
Weakness: Projectiles can be avoided. Projectiles must hit a solid surface. Effectiveness decreases with distance. Maximum distance 20 meters.

Personality: Typically quite calm on the outside yet easy to fluster, frustrate and agitate, it can be problematic but he mostly manages to keep himself in check so to not shout or get aggressive just because of that. He's highly respectful of those who are in positions above him and is polite to his peers, even if they're not so polite to him.

He likes to make himself useful to others, especially if repayment is offered, but even if there were no payment he'd be happy to do most mundane tasks anyway. It's just how he is.
Under duress he tends to cut corners if it gets the job done and will normally fail to recognise that he's done it until it's pointed out to him.



History:
The Amrua family is just a normal family in Kirigakure, Risu's father is a retired shinobi who now leads a life of handiwork and public service meanwhile his mother stays home and handles the finances of the family. Whilst he was young Risu was called on to help around the house for tasks such as cleaning around the house, helping to prepare food and running errands for his mother. So much so that he's often found himself running around and doing things almost all day.

Now he intends to become a shinobi like his father was, sort of seeing it as a family tradition more than an actual duty to fulfill, alongside his duties at home he started to prepare ahead of time with a bit of home tutelage from his father before he joined the academy. He did rather well during his time there and came out of it feeling like he was ready to take on the world, of course he wasn't but it wouldn't stop him feeling like he could. As a bit of a reward for doing well his father taught him how to create water clones and he was free to do whatever he wanted the following day.

Risu is now just waiting to find out who his teacher will be.

Personality:
Suzu is a bit of an oddball when it comes to what one would expect from a Shinobi, and from a Sworn Sword view point she's more of a ball thrown at the batter from the bushes past the field house.

Oddly playful for her position, Suzu seems to enjoy toying with and teasing others as much as she can while maintaining a veil of childish innocence despite her age. However; those that know her closer understand that all of her personality is more of a shield than anything else, in fact those that know her best would even venture to say she doesn't seem to posses a standard sense of what the word "emotion" even means. While not a void shell of a human-being like those who have seen the horrors of battle unfold before them, Suzu simply lacks the understanding to be able to interpret and convey her feelings and the feelings of others, which as it turns out, is the largest factor to determining a high-functioning person from a standard psychopath


History:
Born 28 years ago, Suzu was born and raised during a time of relative prosperity within Konoha and the surrounding countries. She was raised by her mother [Redacted] and father [Redacted] both of which were Shinobi and had high hopes for their little Suzu to one day join the ranks of the revered warriors of Konoha. But early on it became apparent that their little Suzu had something just ever so slightly off about her. Whether it was the way she seemed to mercilessly bully local pets; not to mention the unexplained disappearances of more than a few dogs and cats from their area; and her seemingly low responses to things that other children her age found to be very engaging.

A cut on her knee? She simply stood up and kept going, never a tear in sight. A dead bird? Walk on by without flinching. A dead father? No tears, no grief, no sorrow; but an unexplainable feeling deep within her chest forced her widow of a mother to believe there was a soul within her child. Her mother steeled her resolve on the fact that sending Suzu to the Academy would be the best way to honor her late husband and within the year Suzu had been enrolled and was slated to start classes come the next spring.

Suzu's life in the Academy went about how her mother expected it go, that is to say an overwhelmingly disastrous success. Other parents were convinced that there was something seriously wrong with the girl and even the head teacher had insisted that she required some sort of attention following a fight with a fellow classmate. Her mother did not budge. However; she did concede that her daughter needed some more attention at home, and attention she got.

Her mother, an adept user of Genjutsu, began training Suzu to channel her misguided morality into something that would be beneficial to both herself and the village. Although her seeming lack of emotions never seemed to improve, her lack of understanding for when to use violence and anger versus when to use diplomacy and words were seemingly set in place by her mothers long nights spent training the girl to use; at first; the simplest of genjutsus.

Suzu graduated the academy at the age of eleven and went on to train with a team that no longer graces Konoha, a rag-tag bunch of misfits (Not including their Jounin-sensei) that was sent on the lowest of missions in order to keep them away from valuable matters and important people as much as possible. This all changed shortly after the team had taken and failed their first Chuunin exam, enter, The Great War.

The Great War saw many of Suzu's acquaintances and even her mother, rushed off to fight in what would be the costliest and most unforgiving war the hidden villages, and the world, had ever seen. Suzu's team was no exception. Just a year and a half after its start, they were sent to fight against the soldiers and shinobi of the Water Country, where Suzu's team along with countless others saw fierce combat versus many feared and now even renowned Water shinobi, so fierce that by the end of their first year involved in the fighting her team had been reduced down to three and now had a new Jounin in charge of them.

With their new Sensei, Suzu and her team were sent on a deep reconnaissance mission of an enemy encampment. Like the rest of her military record, the events that took place during their reconnaissance mission are marred in black and stamped in red lettering "Confidential", but what is known is that of the three man team that left only two returned; one seriously injured, the other grinning wide from ear to ear. The team that was sent to attempt to recover the body of the Jounin assigned to the team found only death in the path that the girl and her injured teammate had taken back to their position with obvious signs of some form of Genjutsu being in play, and although hard to distinguish the death count stood at 16:1, weighing heavily in favor of the Konoha reconnaissance team. For lack of any better explanation and out of pure disbelief, the commander of the small Konoha force decided to account the kills to all three of the recon team members against the insistence of the second team which swore that only one of the first team could use Genjutsu.

The end of the Great War a year later saw Suzu emerge with a field promotion to Chuunin, the attention of a few Shinobi in high places, and no mother; although the last part never seemed to bother the girl. Following the end of the Great War, Suzu was watched for half a year by ANBU forces dispatched under the personal order of the Third Hokage before she was plucked from her team to begin training in the ANBU both as a way to keep the odd Shinobi under close watch and in line, and to see if there was really any way to create what many could see as the ideal Shinobi.

Suzu's time within the ANBU has seen her grow from a Shinobi of Chuunin level prowess to one that easily surpasses many of the best and brightest Jounin and ANBU that Konoha has to offer, and after many years serving faithfully she was chosen to join the ranks of the newly formed Sworn Swords. The... expertise... she gained while operating within the ANBU forces has set her up to be an expert infiltrator and interrogator as well as an exceptionally skilled sword user which made her a perfect choice to act as one of the few Sworn Sword Agents of the Akinian Empire.

Description:
A technique that is being used by the Sworn Swords. It is quite simple, but to use it to the efficiency that many of the Sworn Swords use it, requires dedication and training. The user uses the basic principles of chakra flow, but instead of sharpening the edge of an object the chakra is using the conductor (often a shield, but it isn't rare that weapons are used to create fast make-shift chakra shields ) to increase the sturdiness. It is usually good enough to block and neutralize chakra flow and ninjutsu attacks from others. Genjutsu can be repulsed from the chakra shield.

Weakness:
It offers no protection against genjutsu that are based around sound or can move around the shield. Neither can a master of the technique form a full shield around the user, only able to craft a decent sized shield in front of him/her. Furthermore, it should be noted that while one can augment the chakra with a particular nature, that it can also bring some risk. (An example : a shield infused with lightning, can be used to craft an explosion with pressurized air)

A powerful genjutsu known to be forbidden among the Konohagakure ninja. It targets the mind and causes the target to believe that anyone is a foe. While under the effects of the genjutsu, anyone affected will attack those who they believe to be enemies, even their closest friends. They will act completely coherent, however, almost as if it is of their own volition, but they will not listen to reason. Once defeated, they return to normal with no memory of the events.
Weakness:
Soul Defector requires a steady amount of chakra to be directed into the target by the user, directing a constant flow of chakra also requires a large amount of concentration and this increases for number of targets affected. The draw back being obvious, if the caster is sufficiently occupied by other threats then the Genjutsu is weakened and can be broken either through complete severing of the chakra flow to the target (broken concentration) or through extreme means on the part of any of the targets allies (See intense pain).

  • Personality:
    Sairento is not one to let his emotions get in the way of his work. He has always had an excellent control over emotions, and put whatever task was at hand before anything else. As such, he often comes off as apathetic and a little rude towards those he does not yet particularly trust or like. He is a more polite towards his allies, than total strangers, yet has still been accused of being rude more than once.

    To those he particularly trusts and likes, Sairento is quite a friendly individual. He is certainly fun loving, and enjoys a good prank played on others. He can also be a little bit of a flirt, but tends to keep that to a minimum to avoid annoying his friends. He is rather protective when it comes to those he trusts, willing to defend them until his dying breath.

    Sairento has always been rather careful with his actions and words, trying to make each moment a calculated risk. He is perfectly comfortable being either in the background, or forefront of any situation. So long as he is in a position to keep those he cares about around and with him.





    History:
    Sariento was born to a stable and loving couple, he had a rather pleasant young life. From the time he walk and talk, it had been Sariento's dream to become a shinobi. As such, one could imagine how overjoyed the boy was whenever he was enrolled in the academy within Amergakure. Through hard training and studying, Sariento managed to excel at his courses throughout the academy and graduated as one of the top students in his class.

    During this time period, the Great War reached its boiling point and erupted into violence across the world. To the boy, and many others in Amegakure, fear of invasion was omnipresent for these terrible years. He desperately wished to become part of the growing military forces in Amegakure, so he could protect those he cared about. He wanted to ensure his neighbors didn't end up like the refugees of war who were steadily trickling into the village with each day that passed.

    Upon being assigned to his first team, Sariento was determined to become strong, to face off any invaders should they come for his home. Although he did make time to try to befriend his teammate, thinking a good bond would help them should they have to go to battle. A year after being assigned to the team, another person was assigned to Sariento's team. A girl named Ferra, which the boy tried to befriend immediately. Sadly, things didn't seem to work out for him, much like his attempts with his other teammate.

    Over time, Sariento did end up growing closer to Ferra, as the two became quite good friends in the years following being put on the same team. When Ferra left her home, it was Sariento who offered for his friend to stay with his family for the time being. Although he also grew worried at the sudden change in her personality, trying to get her to open up a bit more but to avail. Not long after, Sariento tried out for the Chuunin exams at the age of 14, and managed to pass on his first time through. At this point, Sariento was the first on his team to be promoted to Chuunin, a small cause for celebration if one were to ask him. From this point forward, Sariento was off like a shot. Constantly improving, and at a rapid rate, he gained a rather impressive resume pretty quickly.

    As he was training, Sariento took some of his free time to play Gotai alongside Ferra on the Flying Lemurs. He was one of the key players during their the team's rise under Ferra's leadership. He quite enjoyed being on one of the best teams in nation, and a shinobi at the same time.

    At the age of 23, he was promoted to the rank of Jounin, but wasn't assigned a team of genin at his own requesting. Instead he continued to operate as Jounin, and usually on his own. Eventually wondering how he could go about doing... more, as a Shinobi. This led Sariento down the path that took him towards the ANBU, which he had not previously considered an option.

    As he was getting ready to try to become an ANBU, Sariento deicded it might be best to leave the Gotai team. Wishing them all luck, and explaining his reasoning to Ferra before making the attempt to join the ANBU. Sariento preformed pretty well, and become one of the ANBU operratives for Amegakure not long afterwards. He worked for the ANBU for about two years, completing various missions before the Shoji occupation began.

    Whenever the forces moved to occupy Amegakure, his home, Sariento found it hard to himself back from an open fight. Instead, the man worked from the shadows, were he was at his best to fight off the occupiers. Shoji was a hypocrite at best, a corrput filth of a man at worse. In Sariento's eyes, Shoji was a man who was meant to fall.

    He just needed a little push.

    As Shoji's forces were being repelled, Sariento went with them to ensure that the enemy's armies were crushed. Serving alongside his longtime friend, Ferra, during the events that ended the occupation. With the Shinobi crops back in place, Sariento went back into service as an ANBU. Although this time, he attempted to keep in contact with Ferra, the woman who had possibly become his closest friend over the years.

    Then when the Yonbi attacked Amegakure, Sariento was among the forces fighting against the beast; trying to keep the damage it incurred to a minimum. Sariento took time during this battle to help two young Uchiha escape the battlegrounds after he found them hiding in alleyway nearby. Sariento returned to fight just in time to watch the Yonbi destroy his childhood home. Not long after this point, the beast was sealed away in the host and Sariento discovered that neither of his parents survived the attack. After some time for grieving, Sariento was back on duty for the ANBU. Ready to serve to the best of his ability, and perhaps his actions would be able to prevent others from suffering the same fate as he did.

    Appearance:
    The appearance of Nishi is actually a mystery. While she often reverses her appearance back to the one that most knows her by, Nishi has been 'using' various appearances to suit her needs. The same count much for her clothing, but there seems to be a general theme of nothing too flashy as Nishi isn't fond of drawing attention to herself.









  • Personality:
    Cold and ruthless are the keywords to explain the persona of Nishi. This is thanks to the training and experiences that she has endured in her time with the ANBU black ops. While she isn't in any way a sociopath, Nishi doesn't value the lives of other people, that don't involve her objectives or team, as much as a generic person would. In her opinion all that matters are results and this has also contributed to the fact that Nishi has become somewhat of a perfectionist. Irritation and frustration follow quickly when something doesn't go according to plan and while Nishi has learned how to deal with changes, it still irks her more than most others would be.

    As her record will show Nishi has little to no problems with betrayal. Having betrayed her family and several superiors has led to some attention of the higher officers within the ANBU corps of the Republic. All, of course, on the orders of the ANBU commander and the Mizukages she has served over the years. This has made Nishi consider loyalty an almost obscene fact and doesn't go out of her way to aid her 'comrades' in the other military and civilian corps of the Republic.
    While there is more to Nishi, there hasn't been much else that the Intelligence Division has managed to learn from mandatory [psychological] interviews.





    History:
    Nishi was born into the lower nobility family of Hirashima that used to own and govern the small city of Naju. The lineage of the noble family even preceded the Water Daimyo's, but their influence and power never reached far or was enough to be noticed or considered as a prominent family within the country. As the youngest of the family and only daughter, Nishi was groomed and raised to be a lady-in-waiting. Education was given to make her more 'attractive' for any noble that desired a wife that could write and wouldn't shame him with being ignorant.
    Nishi never seemed to have been bothered by the fact that was going to be her fate. As a young child, she was quite silent and introvert, which only seemed to be a blessing for her parents as none of her brothers was anywhere near silent or introvert. All of Nishi siblings were pretty much 'loud'. Desiring to bring their family to the table of the internal politics of the Water country, the sons of the Hirashima family desired to join the military and civilian positions that could bring wealth and influence. As well bringing renown to the Hirashima name, at last making it mark on the map.

    Life seemed to be going quite well for the Hirashima family as the children grew up. However, in the year 463, the whole family seemed to have been taken out. Evidence point out that it was an operation that was run by the Shinobi corps of the Fire country - at the time, which is now the Imperial Akinian Shinobi corps.

    The record of Nishi is short and seems to be almost flawless. Her entry in the Academy and graduation seems to be somewhat off and it can be assumed that the girl's natural talent for chakra manipulation and control was a reason that it attracted the attention of the shinobi corps at the time. With the losing front of the Water country, it was only logical that they started to draft up potential shinobi as conscripts for their military.
    However, Nishi was never trained or prepared for the battlefields. Being deployed as a spy to conduct intelligence gathering and counter-intelligence operations she started to grow up in a world where information is more worth than gold. And every life seems to hold a certain kind of value, ready to be 'cashed in' or exchanged for information.

I also intend to write more about her background in time once characters start to discover more about her. Think about spoilers that will detail summaries on various operations she has been on/dealing with.*

Personality:
Typically Niji tries to be friendly, but due to her training as a personal guard she tends to take on a rather serious or protective demeanour over those she's fond of, close to or requested to protect. This normally ends up hindering social interactions for the most part, but she has her moments where she gets to let herself loose and relax, normally indulging in books of a certain genre.

For the past couple of years, since Shoji's attempt at a takeover of the ninja world and was exposed to some distressing events, she is determined to shed as little blood as is possible. And despite everything, she maintains a strong loyalty to those close to her and Kumogakure.



History:
The Yakei clan, residing in Kumogakure, has been dedicated to protective services in methods such as tracing seals and personal bodyguards for those who wish to pay for an extra hand in situations. Therefore along with the average shinobi academy training, the family has it's own training during their time outside training with their jounin in an attempt to bring out a more disciplined shinobi to take on the mantle of a protector.

Unfortunately Niji has had little chance to really prove herself to her family as an asset to their business, so she has mostly been sent off on missions for the benefit of Kumogakure. She used to have a charge, a near blind girl of similar age whom was a kunoichi like herself, unfortunately the girl fell ill and was from then on under watch from her own family, so Niji was left without someone to guard for some time.

During this time she overwent a change in views after a conflict with an especially passionate foe who's words hit her harder than she thought, but now refrains from killing as much as she can. In the past couple of years her training in the shinobi ways has ground to a halt and all she has done is maintain her current skill level and rank, but recently has had a re-kindled inspiration to try and get back into the swing of things with her new ethos.

Description: A compartmentalised stick with four seals on it, all four seals containing weighted, steel wire nets to entangle a foe for subdual purposes. Nets are fired out one at a time upon activation of each seal and are launched at a speed akin to that of a thrown kunai.

Appearance: A pale, octagonal stick with three lines and hinges to show where to break away for the next seal. The stick is locked together enough to be used for melee combat as well. The length of the stick is 3 feet.

  • Personality:

    To say Ferra is tenacious would be a dreadful understatement. Ever since she was a little girl, she had a fiery personality and a rebellious streak to boot. As she grew older, she learned to control her emotions, to a degree, and to follow authority. Despite that, she is still a fiery spirit at heart and relishes in the opportunity to let loose.

    Around people she knows and trusts, Ferra is fun loving and outspoken. She loves playing pranks on people she considers close and is very active. She can be considered as more of a tomboy in the way that she does not hesitate to get dirty if the situation demands it. Ferra is fiercely protective over the ones she cares about and will not hesitate to fight to her last to keep them safe. For people she is not familar with, Ferra can come across as apathetic and rather blunt in many situations.

    While she still has her problems with authority, Ferra becomes all business when the situation calls for it. She takes no nonsense on a mission and expects her team to do the same. Not one to watch her words, Ferra will speak her mind to anyone she feels needs to hear it. This has put her at odds with others who can find her blunt attitude off-putting and rude.


    History:

    While Ferra was born into a stable home, she did not know the turmoil that took place behind the facade of her happy, unified family until she was much older.

    Her mother and father were both very young when they first fell madly in love. They met during their time in the academy and stayed close afterwards, their relationship growing from a strong friendship into something more. Kami's father, Ero, did not approve of their relationship however, and forbade the two from seeing each other. Ero was incredibly protective of his daughter, and believed that she was too young to be involved with somebody romantically. While his motives were mostly noble, Ero was also concerned that Tenzen was after the Arkos' hidden techniques. The paranoia mixed with his overprotectiveness caused Ero to keep a close eye on the two young lovers.

    Despite this obstacle, Kami and Tenzen continued seeing each other behind her father's back, doing whatever they could to find time together. Ero's overprotectiveness had the unfortunate side effect of pushing his daughter into acting out more. Kami grew pregnant with Ferra when she was only 16 and both she and Tenzen panicked. Neither of them had prepared for this event and they had no idea how to tell their parents. Deciding that it would be best to hide the evidence of Kami's pregnancy for as long as they could, both of them began working more and more, trying to save up enough money so that they could move away from Kami's overbearing father and get married. They managed to keep things hidden for several months but the time came when Kami decided to step down from active service for fear of getting hurt or losing the child.

    Ero grew suspicious when Kami stepped away from her life as a shinobi and he increased his watch on the girl. When it became impossible to hide the pregnancy any longer, Tenzen went to Ero in an attempt to gain the man's approval to marry Kami. Furious, Ero refused and forbade Tenzen from seeing his daughter again, threatening him more seriously to ensure that the teen would stay away this time. Keeping Kami on house arrest to ensure that she could not sneak off and see Tenzen, Ero decided that he and his wife would claim the child as their own so that it would not put a stain on Kami's name and ruin her future.

    Realizing that he would also need to keep Tenzen quiet, Ero made a deal with him in order to ensure the teen's silence. Tenzen would be allowed to marry Kami and the two could live on their own in a house that Ero and his wife would pay for... Just as long as he swore to never claim the girl to be his own. Kami's father also demanded that the marriage could only take place once Kami had turned 18. He was worried that if the two were married before the child was born, word would get out and they would take the child as their own. At that point Ero feared that nothing but trouble would come of it.

    Finding no other alternative, and not wishing to put a stain on Kami's name, or her future, Tenzen regretfully agreed. From that day forward, Tenzen spent much his time trying desperately to gain Ero's approval, hoping that maybe... just maybe, he would be able to change the man's opinion of him and one day he and Kami could finally call their child their own...

    Ferra was born a few month's later and Ero and Ayana took the girl to raise her as their own. Tenzen and Kami were forced to watch from a distance as their child grew. They were occasionally allowed to visit and interact with Ferra, but Ero always kept a close watch to ensure they did not grow too close or tell the girl the truth about her origin.

    While Ero was a strict father, he was also a very caring man and he and Ayana raised Ferra as best they could. As the girl grew older, it became clear that she had inherited her mother's slight rebellious streak. This streak was fuelled further by Ero growing stricter and more impatient as the rift between he and Kami grew. Ferra could sense the tension but did not understand why it was there. Wanting to make things feel right again, Ferra began doing whatever she could to try and make her 'father' happy again. Believing that Ero wanted her to be more like her older 'sister' Ferra began training herself to be a shinobi. She was small for her age and got made fun of by many of the larger kids for her diminuitive size and her unparalleled tenacity. It was that very tenacity that began getting Ferra into trouble. In her determination to succeed and grow stronger, the girl started to pick fights with some of the larger kids, hoping that the increased challenge would boost her own skills and reduce the time it would take her to become as strong as her 'sister' Kami.

    Unfortunately, despite her scrappiness and fierce attitude, Ferra ended up on the receiving end of a beating far more than she was able to dish one out. One day, after a particularly humiliating beating, Ferra ran away for fear of Ero's reaction to her cuts and bruises. Making her way to her secret place, Ferra let her frustration get the best of her and she released her anger on a poor, innocent tree. Collapsing from exhaustion after she violently tore the tree limb from limb, Ferra was surprised by an unexpected visitor...

    Tenzen had followed the girl and waited to let her get out her anger and frustration. Sitting with Ferra for awhile, Tenzen managed to calm her down and got her to explain her troubles. Learning of the bullying and the fights, Tenzen offered to train Ferrra. Surprised, the girl accepted his offer, and the two began meeting regularly to train. For Tenzen it was the only way he could spend more time with his daughter, even if he had to pretend to be her brother in-law. For Ferra, it was a way to get stronger as quickly as possible to stop those who doubted her and to make Ero proud and happy again.

    Enrolling in the Academy at the age of eight, Ferra began to show progress, thanks in great part to the training with Tenzen. When she began showing signs of an affinity to her clan's hidden technique, Tenzen decided it was time to bring Kami in to help Ferra train. Under Kami's tutelage, Ferra began to show quite an aptitude for the hidden technique, implementing it into her fighting style in a unique way. Despite her progress as a shinobi, things never seemed to improve with Ero and that only pushed Ferra to try harder. Graduating the Academy at the age of 11, Ferra was placed on a team, something she at first thought would be a great experience... Unfortunately, Ferra did not find it easy to fit in with her teammates despite her best efforts. She was still small for her age and found it difficult to work in a team environment, being much more used to doing things on her own. Her frustration grew and Ferra began refusing to taking orders from her sensei, believing Kami and Tenzen to be far superior teachers.

    Concerned by the girl's behaviour, Ferra's sensei went to Ero and Ayana to see if they could talk some sense into her. When Ero and Ayana confronted Ferra about it, she inadvertantly let it slip that she was training with Tenzen and Kami and that they had taught her more than her sensei ever could. In a rage, Ero forbade her from ever training with Kami and Tenzen again. Confused and angry, Ferra demanded to know why but Ero would not say, instead he grounded the girl, refusing to let her out of the house until she learned not to talk back. Sneaking out of her house the one time that Ero let his guard down, Ferra made her way to Kami and Tenzen's house. When she got there, she explained what happened and asked why Ero had forbidden her from training with them. After a long consideration, Kami and Tenzen decided to tell Ferra the truth.

    Learning that Kami and Tenzen were her real parents, Ferra broke down. Running from their home, she eventually made her way back to Ero and Ayana's house, the place she had always considered home... Relieved that Ferra had returned, Ero confronted her and she told him that she knew about her real parents. Shocked into silence, Ero could not stop Ferra as she gathered her things and left for good.

    Moving in with one of her few friends, Ferra stayed there until she made enough money to support herself. Her parents tried to reach her several times, trying to help, trying to fix what they had broken. Ferra refused to speak with them, too hurt to listen. Focusing on growing as a shinobi, Ferra became very quiet and her rebelious nature all but disappeared. The sudden change surprised and worried her sensei, but the fact that she was listening was enough to keep him from saying anything.

    Unbeknownst to Ferra, Ero had grown quite ill after she left, stress and guilt beginning to wear him down. As his health deteriorated, her family tried to reach out to her and let her know, but Ferra continued to ignore all of their attempts to contact her, wanting nothing more than to be left alone. Her relationship with her teammates began to improve gradually and she found herself learning a lot from her sensei. When she turned 13, Ferra tried out for the Chuunin exams. Though she fought hard, Ferra lost her match and was not promoted to Chuunin rank.

    Kami and Tenzen approached her after the match, letting her know that they had been watching, along with Ero and Ayana. They apologized and told her they were proud. Still angry, Ferra pushed past them, not ready to listen. When they told her that Ero was sick and not getting any better, she hesitated. Brushing it off as another trick to try and get her to talk to them, Ferra walked away, leaving her parents behind.

    Ero passed away a week later.

    When news got to Ferra, the young teen was in anguish. Her pain turned to anger, anger at the world, anger at Ero, at her parents... but most of all, anger towards herself. Ferra blamed herself for not going to see Ero before it was too late. She never had the chance to forgive him, and a part of her still didn't know whether or not she truly did... It took a long time before she was ready to talk to her family again. When she did, Ayana, Kami and Tenzen welcomed her with open arms, just happy to have her back.

    Two years later, when she turned 15, Ferra took part in the Chuunin exams once more. This time, thanks to the training from her parents and her sensei, Ferra excelled. Winning her match, she was promoted to the rank of Chuunin and began to improve rapidly. Ferra gained a reputation for taking on difficult missions, her natural tenacity pushing her to find larger and harder challenges. She once tried out for the ANBU but was denied for several reasons. Ferra excelled as a fighter, but was never overly strong in stealth or reconnaissance missions. Her loyalty was unquestionable, but her tendency to leave destruction in her wake and her occasional issues with authority figures was not something the ANBU could accept.

    It was around that time that she joined a Gotai team, using the competition as a way of getting out her frustrations and letting loose. The team she joined was known as the Flying Lemurs, an amateur team that had never really seen much success. Ferra quickly took to the sport, training long and hard to develop her skills. The effort paid off and she was able to lead the Flying Lemurs to their first tournament win. After that, she was named as the team captain. Under her leadership, the team gained quite a bit of fame and became one of the most successful Gotai teams in the country.

    Her time as a captain of the Lemurs and her years spent working to hone her skills as a shinobi eventually succeeded in maturing her as she reached her 20's, Ferra was promoted to the rank of Jounin at the age of 22. She was not put in charge of a team for several years, the higher ups concerned that her independent nature would make it difficult for her to train a squad of fresh genin. While she had proven herself as a leader in Gotai, they felt she had a long way to go until she would be ready to lead actual shinobi. Working hard, Ferra proved herself over the next several years, never one to back down from a challenge. She earned herself a squad but never had a chance to meet them. Right before she would gather her team for the first time, Shoji's forces invaded.

    During the occupation of Amegakure, Ferra found it very difficult to hold herself back from openly opposing the soldiers. The only thing that held her back was knowing she would cause more harm than good. Doing what she could to help fight from the shadows, Ferra resented Shoji for trying to take away the shinobi corps. She saw him as a hypocrite and saw the excuses he created to be the same as the excuses Ero had given for lying to her about being her father. When Shoji's forces were repelled, Ferra joined the forces taking the fight to his remaining soldiers. She wanted nothing more than to extinguish the lies of a corrupt man.

    After the dust settled, Ferra went back to independent missions for quite some time. When she felt ready, Ferra approached the higher ups and requested a squad of her own. It took them some time to grant her wish but for once Ferra waited patiently. It was her turn to make a difference...

    Description: Members of the Arkos clan are capable of manipulating the area around them and objects that they come in contact with by careful use of their chakra. This hidden technique cannot be used on people, due to the internal chakra system that would interfere with it. Many people believe that this technique is an advanced form of puppetry but it is in fact very different.

    When a clan member inserts their chakra into an object, they are capable of manipulating it via polarity, attracting it or repelling it in whichever direction they need. To use the hidden technique effectively, one must have good chakra control. It does not require a lot of chakra to manipulate the objects, but there is a limit to how many objects can be manipulated at a time.

    To some extent, clan members are able to manipulate the area around them, causing subtle shifts in the 'aura' around them that will attract or repel objects in the immediate vicinity. This aspect of the technique is less refined and there is much less control over it than through the touch method. A user is unable to control the specific direction that objects are repelled or attracted when using this method and, instead, their core will act as the focal point.

      Description: Ferra makes physical contact with an object, inserting her chakra into it. Once that is complete, she can manipulate the object's direction and velocity. She can choose how much to influence the object and it can vary from the slightest shift to a complete reversal of direction and/or velocity.

      The most common form that Ferra uses this technique for is to manipulate her own spear/sword and shield. She can throw either weapon and have them return to her, or manipulate them in a fight to catch her opponent off guard.

      Weakness: The further from Ferra the object moves, the harder it is to manipulate. If the object moves more than 30 meters away from her, she loses her connection with it and would need to make physical contact with it again to regain control. While she can end the connection at will, Ferra is only able to control up to five objects at once.

      The connection also only lasts for a maximum of an hour depending on how much chakra she inserts upon initial connection.

This technique is quite powerful when it comes to blocking incoming attacks, be they from ninjutsu, weapons, etc., but it requires a constant flow of chakra to keep active which can drain Ferra quicker.

      Weakness: This technique only protects her from attacks that are coming in front of her shield with a slight curve that protects her sides. Her back is still entirely exposed and an attack that comes from above or below would still be able to hit her. Takes a fair bit of chakra to keep active meaning that Ferra has to be rather conservative with this technique.

If an object enters the range while she is using this technique, it will be repelled and sent flying in a random direction at a slightly reduced speed in comparison to how fast it was traveling towards her.

      Weakness: This technique requires a lot of control in order to use as she is manipulating the area around her without physical contact. While this can be an effective technique for blocking incoming attacks, if Ferra chooses to repel any projectiles, they will be repelled in random directions. This means that anyone nearby her could potentially be at risk, including allies.

This means that she could theoretically pull someone towards her by their clothes, weapons, etc. That takes a large amount of concentration and chakra control however.

      Weakness: This technique takes a lot of control and uses more chakra than the 'repel' technique as she has to send her chakra out and then pull it back towards herself, meaning she is using twice the amount. It also requires a great amount of control and is not nearly as precise as if she were to use the Polar Shift technique. She can also only affect objects within a 10 foot range.

Appearance:
Etsu is a short-haired woman, who doesn't really look apart. No scars or tattoos that make her stand out from the general population or make her really mesmerising. Wearing clothing that also isn't really flashy or sporting any symbol makes it only harder to notice the woman in a crowd. It is further than that hard to really put down in words what Etsu looks or appears like. Certainly, doesn't make it easier as she has the tendency to keep shifting through a style of clothing and manner of speaking.




Personality:
It really depends on what kind of approach or situation Etsu is paired up with a person, though that can be said about everybody, it is typical for Etsu to have a reason on how she behaves. To some, she can be friendly but only because she needs to win information out of them without blowing up her own cover. To others, she can come over uncertain over herself or too shy to really speak a lot, which can have its reason. The real Etsu, however, is more foul mouthed and energetic. This is likely due to her origin and background. The psychological tests that she has gone through have shown out that Etsu is quite flexible in adapting to situations - a perk for her profession.

She is other than that extremely loyal to people who have proven themselves to be her friend. While she doesn't really often show it, she does try to care about others who have won her loyalty and respect. The difficulty she has with showing her gratitude and care comes forth from the fact that she has lost relatives and friends that were close to her and thus the fear that she will be hurt once more has made her slightly shy to bond close with others. Both to protect them and herself.



History:
The story of Etsu starts in the town of Yokotari. A town that isn't as renowned as Amegakure or particularly much liked. It is settled on the northern side of the Rain province, once the location where both traders from the northern neighbouring lands came to trade in small quantity. Etsu's parents were simple folk. Her father was a carpenter, working in the shop of his older brother, while her mother worked in a clothing workshop - sewing clothing. It wasn't the worst condition to grow up in, but it wasn't enough to provide some luxuries that are considered normal by some people. Money for education was barely there as food and clothing were considered more important. Next to the fact that it was unlikely that Etsu or her siblings would become high ranked chiefs in society, thus why would they need to read if they would likely enrol into a job that required little reading?
This became more evidently clear as Etsu and her siblings also showed little care or love for literature or anything that had to do with studying books, old tomes and the likes of such. They were rather out on the street, causing their neighbours to throw a tantrum, imitate Godai matches and the usual games one could expect from kids. This did involve some games that saw people getting wounded, but their intention wasn't ever 'evil'.

Eventually, as Etsu grow older she became more curious about what she could do and achieve. As said before, there was little to no money for a literature education so the girl tried to learn what she could achieve with words and actions. It started with coercing other kids to do jobs and tasks for her and eventually led to 'worse'. Pickpocketing and being at places where she wasn't supposed to be exciting. They provided a rush of adrenaline that became slowly addictive as well earning her some money. And together started to influence the girl that she could make a living out of it. Her childhood was thus not all that 'clean'.
With growing experience and skill in emptying the pockets and sneaking around, Etsu became noticed by the Tough Rats. A gang that once used to be present in the town of Yokotari, but you can rest assured. It isn't around anymore or perhaps just underneath another name and run by other people. Anyhow, during Etsu time the Tough Rats invited her to join them. It wasn't a really organised group of thieves, but it offered some protection and comradeship for Etsu. It was where she met most of her childhood friends and would lead her to become a kunoichi.
It started with the Tough Rats trying their luck out on wealthier targets. There weren't many rich people in Yokotari, but there were enough bypassing merchants with interesting wares and goods. One of the merchants all those years back was coming from the Earth country. Not that it was unusual for foreign merchants to have their own armed retinue of guards and watchmen, but this specific merchant had more guards, that were better geared and armed. With this taken in the Tough Rats considered that his wares were probably more worth than the usual folk. And while they were hoping for gems, diamonds or gold they found something else that was of high value. Scrolls with information about ongoing operations in the Grass country - now more known as the Grass province. At first, the Tough Rats were disappointed. Many of them were frustrated that they had managed to pull off a dangerous 'operation' and fooled what they considered a rich merchant, but eventually, they figured out that the scrolls could mean a fortune.
It was, after all, at the time that the Great War was starting to boil. Tensions between the great nations were on the rise and while it didn't really prove interesting for the folk of Yokotari what the relation was between the Fire and the Earth, it started to become an interesting idea for the Tough Rats to sell the information to the Fire country. While some of the group were against it, the majority was in for it. Some of them were more interested in leaving Yokotari and the region of the Rain altogether. Stories of the warm and lush lands to their east had a certain allure and Etsu decided to join them. Packing her wares, it would be years before she would ever come back to Yokotari to see her parents.

The travel towards the east wasn't an easy one. Most of the Tough Rats were still teenagers and had little to no experience, knowledge or skill how to survive on the countryside. Let alone, knowing really where to go with their information. This led to some frustration and arguments, but seeing that they were now all together in this they did stick together. Eventually, they managed to reach a few towns on the western side of the Fire country, trying to figure out where to start. In those places, they used their experience to learn where they should go next and gain both money as the items and tools to continue on their journey. During the dark and cold nights they kept their spirits high with talking on how they would score a fortune and what they would do with their share. Etsu's answer was that she would buy an estate near Yokotari, where her parents could move in and she would perhaps try to earn an honest income with agriculture.
So when they reached Konohagakure the Tough Rats saw it as the end of their journey and start of a new life. Which they were right about as when they came with the information they were put into the prisons of the Intelligence Division. There they were questioned and members of the Intelligence Division searched their mind and memory in order to figure out if they weren't just spies of the Earth country, trying to put them on a wrong track. After what seemed to be an eternity the group's information would prove to be true. Only for another problem to arise: they were nothing more than thieving criminals. While they had managed to gain information that could prove crucial for counter-intelligence operations it didn't just mean that their thieving habits could be forgiven. So they were given a choice: Either serving time in prison or works to earn back what they had stolen.

The Tough Rats eventually decided to opt for the later option as none of them was a big fan of being locked in a foreign country. Three years of training began in which they were being trained to become operatives. While Etsu was worried on if she wasn't being trained to end up dead, she couldn't state that she didn't enjoy. The thrill of being able to blend in with the crowd and learn information, being able to steal and sneak better or knowing how to predict people. She started to shine among her peers of the group, which saw to it that she was being seen as the leader of the group. Eventually, the time came that they were set out in their first operation. To test out if they were up for it as well loyal.
Send to the Tea country the Tough Rats were instructed to learn of the military strength of the southern neighbour. It would be, crucial for the imminent strife of the Great War as it wasn't yet estimated before if the Tea country would be a military threat to the forces stationed in the south of the Fire country. Gaining success Etsu and her group returned with a newfound pride back with the information.
This went on and Etsu served even in the Great War. Not on the fields of battle, sieges or political atmosphere. No, in various cities she fought the war as a spy. Winning information, putting out faked information and battling against other spy operatives. It was there where most of the Tough Rats lost their lives, waging the war of information.
After the Great War ended the job of Etsu and the Tough Rats became 'easier'. As they had proven their loyalty towards the Fire, they were set out to serve as intelligence operatives in the Rain. Their task was just to help set up a ring network in their motherland. With Etsu officially and formally appointed as leader, the woman started to see it more as a game of old. Much as how she was in the constant wary mood of trying to evade the attention of guards during her times as a thief, she was on the constant guard for shinobi and operatives from her own motherland. Eventually, however, the Rain did join the Fire Union. It didn't make Etsu and the ring network of the Tough Rats stop but even expand with people from the Rain. The objective would shift a bit in which Etsu wasn't working to remain the only undercover, but also find and combat intelligence operatives from neighbouring countries.
As time passed and change happened so did the work of Etsu. Most of the Tough Rats would retire to less active jobs, but still holding ties to their network of old. Some did entirely stop with their work as operatives, picking up a less risky job and settle down. With some newly appointed operatives, Etsu's motivation became less. It became the reason for the leadership in the Rain to request her to become a mentor, to pass on her skill to genin. Something that Etsu accepted, hoping for a new challenge.

Sharp steel weapons that are excellent for close ranged combat. Etsu has usually a pair of them well hidden on her, but there are times when she can carry up to an amount of eight of her specialised knives with her. They are mostly designed for slashing, but Etsu has proven in the past that she is able to be lethal when thrown.

The thing is that Etsu doesn't usually sport the conventional pouches. Being a fan to hide what she has likely on a person, she doesn't bring many tools with her - as it can be quite uncomfortable to hide a pair of shuriken in your socks, can't it?

Etsu's first education with the Intelligence Division was never meant to train her to become a participant of combat. Over the years, however, with earning trust and realising the need for it Etsu became trained in the art of combat and martial arts. As many people, Etsu does consider it of paramount importance to know she is well geared to meet an enemy without too many risks for her own health. As she and the Tough Rats weren't really part of the Fire country they were given a different set of gear when being set on riskier assignments that could see some combat to it.

Description:
A technique developed by the Tough Rats themselves, one that serves as a source of pride as well something that has served them well on various assignments. The technique can be targeted on one or more targets - the more targets, the more chakra it will cost. Once cast upon a victim, there will be a certain sense of dread and doubt starting to rise. The victim will start to realise that they aren't safe and will start to become more nervous and anxious, slowly draining their willpower to make it easier for the user to perform interrogations or force them to stand down. The genjutsu, however, can't be dispelled with pain. In fact, it is only worse when pain is applied which has made it also excellent for combat use when the user is capable of letting the victim suffer pain - to ensure that the effects will increase on a much faster pace.
Weakness:
Experts on genjutsu will have an easier time than most to see through the technique. Those with a strong willpower also have proven on various occasions to endure the genjutsu. The genjutsu can be dispelled with disturbing the chakra flow.

Description:
Another technique developed by the Tough Rats. This one causes a victim to start seeing a double vision of the caster. The nasty part of the technique is that if the victim tries to apply pain that the vision will start to multiply. Another fact that this genjutsu is considered quite useful to distract and confuse an opponent is that when the victim tries to break the flow of their own chakra flow that the illusion of the caster will briefly vanish, but only to double in numbers a moment later.
Weakness:
As is the case with all genjutsu, experts will be able to figure out that the illusions have a certain weakness. Those who have a strong will be more resilient against the technique as it is evident that the genjutsu seems to use part of the victim's own chakra to last longer and cause the multiplying effect. The illusions can't, however, bring any sort of physically kind of pain or feeling upon the victim. Those not under the spell of the genjutsu will also be able to notice that the behaviour of the victim is odd and can try to dismantle the technique with entering a bit of their chakra to break apart the genjutsu.

Personality:
Chu is much like his sister Kona, headstrong, untactful, some what overconfident and at times quite odd. His heritage plays a strong role in influencing his decisions, as his number one goal is to rebuild his clan to its former glory. While he doesn't always think about his decisions, a strong influencing factor of them are almost always his safety and the safety of others.



History:
Chu was born to the main branch of his clan, and as a member of the main family in his clan (His clan was established in the year 275, and though they were all technically related, they all had plenty of distance between each other in terms of blood) he was raised to be a prime example of what the pride of his clan was, a farming clan with a strong warrior tradition. Chu was raised how an ordinary clan member would generally be up to the age of four. At age four, Chu began to learn the way of the sword, he trained with other boys his age, and he excelled, learning to use his training bokken (scaled down to his size of course) to defeat the other children in sparring matches, and on the side he learned to read and write. At age eight, his education in the Clan's way of farming, history, and the history of the land was added to that, and in these areas he also excelled. He was becoming a shining example of what the clan's main branch was supposed to be, learned and masterful in both the sword and farming. At age nine, Chu's education began to focus on how he could control the chakra that was stored within his body, and while he experienced difficulty in this area, his education mostly continued without a hitch. By the year 459, Chu was well on his way to becoming a excellent clan member. His education continued for the next four years, and in the years leading up to year 463, Chu was blissfully ignorant to the issues arising within his clan, and the two factions that were forming because of it. His education and training continued, and he had not a care in the world. To him, life was wonderful and his work rewarding. Come the year 463 however, his cousin (the current clan head) left the clan and left Chu's father in charge. With factions arising and tensions bordering on the brink of violence, his Father exiled a large portion of the clan. Over the next couple of years, Chu's father continued to exile those who opposed the codes of the clan. However when he died, and left Chu to take over, the clan had suffered for it. Those that were exiled were many, and the number that remained were few. When Chu came into power, he decided to turn things around, and instead cleared the isolationist policy and welcomed those exiled back. His clan would not only be open to exploring the outside world, but Chu also offered pardons to any exiled by his father. To show this fact and prove it to the skeptical members of the clan, Chu moved to Amegakure, and left the clan compound in the capable hands of the clan elders, with any important matters he needed to address being sent to him by letter. Once he had arrived, he went through the academy, joined the shinobi corps, and after a short time was accepted as a Chuunin after he proved himself in the Chuunin exams.

Description:
Either mixing his chakra into water, or using water that he has already mixed with his chakra, Chu forms seven three foot (roughly one meter) long and two inch thick (.05 meters) rods of compressed water and propels them at great speeds towards a target. The rods will form and be ready to be propelled within 1 post. The rods will require a steady supply of chakra fed into them to keep them formed past 3 posts if they have not been cast. When they are prepared to be cast, Chu will point at his target, and the rods will fly towards his target. Upon striking a surface, be it the target or something else, the rods will explode outwards into smaller water droplets charged with chakra, dealing a small amount of impact damage to enemies in the radius. He must have water that exists in sufficient quantities to utilize this technique. (For example, if there are puddles, he can certainly use those, however, first he'd need to touch those puddles to mix his chakra in, and second, that puddle would need to be large enough to support the formation of the water rod. Simply put, the larger the body of water, the more useful/executable this technique will be.)

Weakness:
-After 60 ft, the rods will revert back to normal water and be beyond Chu's control.

Description: Pouring chakra into water, Chu fires shafts of water formed upwards from underneath his opponent. The attack is violent and quick and deals impact damage to his target. In order for this to be used though, Chu must have water that he can mix chakra into, usually in large amounts. Puddles will work just fine, however, the less water there is, the fewer the rods he can create. (For example, if he does just have a single puddle, he can use that just fine, however, the smaller the puddle, the less powerful this technique is. Once again, the larger the body of water, the more powerful this technique will be) Always right before the attack, bubbles will appear on the surface of the water that will shoot the rod upwards from. The attack is a continuous barrage of the area he targets in a ten foot radius (Permitting there is a sufficient amount of water in the area of that attack) The attack ends once Chu stops providing chakra for the technique, or if he runs out of chakra. It can also end if the Serpent hand seal that Chu forms as his final hand seal of the technique is broken.

Weakness:
-Can only be used at full power over large bodies of water
-Before that attack, bubbles appear on the surface of the water that he is using to project the rods

Description: Simply a modified version of the Waterfall Basin Technique, the Rapid great flood technique creates a basin that is filled with water by developing spring water without water veins and manipulating it so that it forms a fountain surrounding an island in the middle of the pool. The radius and depth of the pool is then influenced by the amount of chakra that the user of the technique puts into the technique. The user of the technique will be on a small island in the middle of the pool at the end of the jutsu. This technique facilitates the usage of many of the custom Omari water style jutsu.

Weakness: None really, other then that the user must take some time to form the handseals and create the pool of water. Another weakness could of course be the chakra consumption, which can be heavy or light depending upon the size and depth of the pool. It could be said that the pool is a double edged sword, as it does not prevent others from using the water created.

History: Fugam is a red tailed hawk that Chu summoned at the age of nine as part of the contract that his clan has with the red tailed hawks of a particular lineage. The history of a partnership between members of his clan and members of the line of Fugam's red tailed hawk bloodline extend as far back as the Second head of the Omari Clan. Not only did Chu summon Fugam, but from the moment that Fugam was summoned by Chu, Chu was repsonsible for raising the bird until Fugam reached maturity.
Fugam has been with Chu through thick and thin, and while Fugam lives seperate from Chu in a meadow that Fugam's family has always occupied, he has always been a simple summoning away.

    Baako Hishima, everyone says he is duller than dish water.This is due to his mental reactions to questions and life in general. He has been called slow majority of his life,

    History:
    The boy was the born 14th of October the year 463. He was the first child to two lovers and given the name Baako. However to adapt the customs, they gave him
    another name, Kenshin. Kenshin grew up with a single mother, who worked full time, meaning the house was empty from day to night. This meant that boy had
    pull his weight around the house, and if things weren't done to a standard he would receive harsh verbal abuse from a obviously stressed mother.
    Kenshin saw his father once every two months, or longer, he was a man of the sea, a pirate. The young boy aspired to be like him, but was
    the complete opposite, he wasn't sharp enough, or angry enough. Though his father was not academic the man had a lot of common sense and often scolded Kenshin a lot
    for being too slow. This impacted on his personality, and made him hesitant to do things, eventually it would hardened him.
    At the age of 9 he made friends with a Shinobi fanatic Abe Tanaka, a boy obsessed with the Shinobi life, he dragged Kenshin into it and eventually it would
    grow on the boy, Abe was considered Kenshin's closest and first friend. Their daily activities consisted of watching Shinobi train, having explosive
    spasms over flashy jutsu and compare Shinobi, Kenshin's favourite being Satoshi Jun. Eventually friends would make a promise to each other to become Shinobi no matter what
    so they would start physical training early. The year was a harsh one, due to the Shinobi practice being banned.
    He managed to scrape through the academy and graduate this year after a couple attempts now he awaits his adventure, his road to being a Shinobi.

Personality:
Kyoi is very calm and bears an aura of serenity around herself when she's working, be it in medicine or close combat she tends to leave any strong emotions behind in her wake all in order to complete the task at hand.
With superiors and members of her clan she is respectful, no matter the attitude they take with her and in close social situations with companions she would be considered lackadaisical, friendly and over confident most of the time.
When it comes to handling a squad, Kyoi tends to be rather doting of them, putting the safety of her subordinates before her own well-being whilst trying to focus on safely accomplishing the mission.
She doesn't normally drink, but when she starts drinking alcohol she tends to be loud, often times flirty and sometimes even quite rude.
Large social gatherings are typically avoided but when they're unavoidable she tends to don her calm work persona so to give a good impression to others.


History:
Kyoi was brought up fairly routinely for a Hyuuga as part of a side-branch of the clan. She was taught the ways of the clan as she grew and everything was as expected, she initially seemed to be quite the bookish sort in her earlier years.
Eventually Kyoi was granted admission to the Academy in Konoha and had since been working hard on improving her skill set once she graduated to the rank of genin. Her focuses during her genin years were on medical ninjutsu, taijutsu to augment the Gentle Fist style as well as a keen interest in the actual stealth aspect of being a shinobi.

Whilst she was still young, there was an upset within the clan related to a Hyuuga marrying a member of an opposed clan and the resultant child, Tomiko. Kyoi had no strong feelings either way about it, but she felt sorry for the child if the clan was this upset over it being born, it was only a baby after all, it hadn't done anything wrong. She often looked after Tomiko after Hikaru's family adopted the infant because her parents were well acquainted with Hiraku's. It was only when Hiraku's parents were away and Hiraku himself was on a mission would she do it, but she tended to have fun looking after her and would often practise the Mystical Palm technique on her if she hurt herself whilst playing.

As a genin, Kyoi didn't achieve anything particularly special, she continually worked to try and augment her capabilities, combining the hair techniques she had at her disposal to grant herself easier access to what she wanted to get done.
Further ahead in her career she started to fully specialise as a medical-nin, studying with great fervour in order to be as knowledgeable as possible when it came to her field of work. It didn't stop her working on her hand-to-hand skills, nor her stealth capabilities as those were both fairly impressive compared to the average shinobi.

During her time as a chuunin, she tended to volunteer to take command of the squad on some training exercises with the squad's jounin teacher, whilst it wasn't always appreciated by her peers she showed some capability with guiding the others and ensuring the exercises were completed with the safety of the other squad members in mind.
She would sometimes spend time between missions asking for pointers or advice about leading a team from various jounin whom had a few minutes to spare, taking in whatever information they had to give her and trying to form it into her own leadership tactics.

With the skills possessed at the moment and a recommendation from her squad's jounin after being given command over the other squad members for a couple of missions to accurately test her ability in handling the full responsibility of a jounin, Kyoi was about ready to become a tokubetsu jounin.
Even if it wasn't a fully fledged Jounin, it was a step in the right direction to ascending up to the next stage in her career as a medical nin.

Hitting the target anywhere but the spinal column will have greatly diminished effects, as it will just cause a numbness in the affected area in favour of messing up the central nervous system.
Regarding a strike to the spinal column, due to the short burst of signals running through the body, the victim would suffer the confusion to the central nervous system for a short amount of time, as once the signals start to flow from the brain again it would steadily recover it's own instinctive pathways.

Appearance:
He has shaggy black hair down to his shoulders, and he uses his genin headband like a bandana to keep his hair out of his face. He has heavy, thick eyebrows above his plain black eyes (thats the color of his irisis) that are concealed by what appears to be a continuous squint. He has a flat-ish nose and a very square jaw.

His shoulders are broad, and there is space between his arms and his ribs normally. He has some muscle definition, but not much mass, because while he has grown up with a sword in his hands, he is still young and skinny.

If he can get away with it he doesn't wear a shirt.



Personality:

Hiro is super intense. He gets kind of down whenever he breaks even the most casual agreements and will usually do what ever he can to not to break his word. He is also super loyal to his companions, and he often ascribes a level of connection beyond what other people feel toward him.

History:

Matsui Kataharu and Matsui Kaneme are traditionalist ninja who believe that the strong should rule the weak, but they are willing to concede that children wont be strong if you don't train them. During the great war they were part of an ambulance team (Kataharu was the guard and orderly and Kaneme was the medic).

Following the war they grew frustrated with the ever weakening grip of the Kages and were hoping that the brutality that Nomonoto brought would also bring order, but they were disappointed at how chaotic things remained. When Nagano gained power they had no illusions about what he would bring. They had a great deal of respect for Rika Suzu, though, but were frustrated with how soft she made Kirigakure. If this seems confusing, that is because it was 3 kages died in 11 years.

As the eldest son in his family, there were great expectations placed upon him. Knowing this he spent as much time training with his parents as he did in academy. (mostly his mom because she was more often available.) His younger siblings mostly saw him training around the house and so they are always super excited when he takes time to hang out with them because it is so rare.

During his time as a student at academy he was often given as an example to struggling students of what they could achieve if they really try.(if even Hiro can do it, what's your excuse?)

When the Shoji occupation happened the entire Matsui family had to get working. Kataharu became a bodyguard, Kaneme became a doctor and Hisahiro became a grounds keeper.
This interruption set Hiro back quite far, but luckily after only one retake he was able to graduate. (he really struggled with bunshin no jutsu).

As for the latest events, the Matsui family is mostly annoyed that the current republic feels so weak.

Because so much of his training is provided by his family, his dad expects him to be able to make it to jounin.

Personality:

The mood he portrays is always an uncertain one. You never know if the happiness he portrays is always the real one. That's not to say he’s an edgy person, he has simply experienced betrayal from his friends before that and has grown to hide his true emotions from everyone to such a degree that he almost believes his own fake emotions. Now that’s not to say he doesn’t experience the actual emotions he pretending, even he can experience actual joy and laughter with the right circumstances. Having been bitten before, he does keep to himself on most things unless even he knows he can’t keep it hidden. Yet for the most part he shall pretend. Having placed his trust in others and been forsaken has cause him to go down a bad path at one point. Opting to do things by himself, some of these things being illegal. Yet it’s what made him who he is today.




History:
A lot of things are uncertain about Madoc’s life early on, what is certain is that it had it’s fair share of hardships. His older sister was born when his father decided he wanted to stick around. He could never have known when his parents relationship started going south, only that the love they once shared was non-existent. Yet that didn’t stop his arrival into the world. Yet when he was born he had no father to grow up beside. Just his mother and sister along with his grandparents who helped his mother out. Yet early on his life wasn’t like most children his age which at the time was five. Where families would show their children equal attention, his sister got majority of it. Only it wasn’t due to the fact she was the first born, she had contracted a disease which no matter what medicine they tried, nothing could cure it. The best they could have done was slow it’s progress the best they could. When you are a child it’s a bit difficult to understand this so he would end up trying to get attention through any means. Eventually his acting up got him scolded and the attention he wanted but also the harsh reality. His mom told him why they were giving his sister more attention than him, as it took that much to make sure she wasn’t in any pain. She even apologized to him, a child no less, hoping he could forgive her and understand why she was doing this. Getting the gist of it he would bite his tongue and stopped causing problems for his mom and grandparents.



Yet when you aren’t disciplined on what’s right and wrong, you tend to get mixed in with a bad crowd. This would be how he meet his first ever friend and mentor, an older woman possibly in her late twenties and a criminal. This woman whom he came to know as Cai would get acquainted with him one day when she stole a bunch of goodies and hide them away in a little bag. Of course with guards on her tail, she had to dispose of any proof that she stole it and as such. She would hand it to Madoc as she saw him in the streets and tell him to wait by this clothing establishment for her to pick it up, stating he would be given a reward for doing this simple task. Thinking it to be a game he would play along and accept the bag which had a surprising weight to it. He would do as he was told and wait for an hour going on to two when she arrived and would smile at him, rubbing his head for doing such a good job. This would have been the first ever praise he truly received in his life, yet his reward was even better. She decided since he listened so well that she would take him under her tutelage. Which was a shaky start at first as she was basically his teacher for a lot of things his family couldn’t provide. She was surprisingly very smart which made him wonder later on why she needed to do such crimes, when she could probably be whatever she set her mind too.



Yet this partnership was really his only true one. Over the years he would make friends, only for them to judge him based on the fact he was a Yamanaka with blue eyes. A Mind Seeker to put it plainly. Something from his clan that had good qualities with some rather bad rumors. So he never truly got to know other children his age for long before they would stab him in the back. The only one to show care for him was Cai who even gifted him his first two daggers. Thief and Twitch. Being around eleven at this time, he was taught even by her how to use these daggers properly. They weren’t for show boating but to deliver a message. They weren’t meant to be seen until the last second. Stealth was the best friend to a concealable weapon, yet it was around when he was eleven that things started going south for him. An operation with Cai went horribly wrong one day, attempting to break into a house turned sour as the house they broke into was a known weapon expert, who woke up and saw them in the act. Thing was he was going to defend his home which meant a fight broke out. The burly man targeted Madoc first being so young and with a strong firm kick to the chest sent him recoiling backwards bashing his body against a window shattering it. Cai would retaliate jumping on his back and being able to stab him in the side a couple of times, only for him to grab her arms and up and over his shoulders slam her into a table shattering it. Proceeding to put his weight on her so she couldn’t escape, he wrapped his hands around her neck and started strangling the life out of her when the force he applied stopped as a red liquid sprayed from his neck. The man would fall over revealing Madoc with a shocked expression on his face and Thief in hand with blood dripping from it. Realizing what he did, she tried to get them to escape but all noise that was caused got the police waiting outside telling them to come out with their hands up. They could try to make a run for it but they would pursue, so she threw herself under the bus for Madoc and told him to sneak up through the chimney and escape on roof while she went out and took the blame for what happened. Which meant she would be charged with breaking and entering and murder. She gave him no choice either as she would push him towards the chimney and walk towards the door opening it. That would be the last day he saw Cai.



After that day he would end up lying low, having seen the sad look on his face. His sister would decide to try and cheer him up by having him play with her. Going through puberty caused him to find this playing with dolls rather childish but for some reason, seeing his sister’s happy face made him happy. In fact it even brought some relief to his parents to know he was watching her, giving them some rest. For three years he would play these childish games with his older sister, these games being the only real entertainment she ever had so she never outgrew them. Then one day she passed away from her disease, in which the only thing to remember his sister by was her purple heart pendant. Leaving Madoc with once again nothing in his life, it was with this nothingness that he finally received his parents attention only far too late. With his sister’s passing and having an aptitude for chakra, he opted to join the academy at fourteen and would study and begin to fully use the abilities that others called him a monster for. Having been taught by someone for a majority of his life, he knew most topics and had skill at close quarters. A majority of his time was the ninjutsu they made him learn. Yet he picked it up fast and even graduated on his fifteenth birthday. Which was lucky break as a year later Shoji’s oppression would prevent the academy form continuing. Yet before then he was assigned to a team which meant he was stuck with them for as long as the team stuck around. It was to his surprise an alright team. They went on missions and he even became best friends with them. Within the year all three of them reached the rank of Chuunin, before they were forced to disband due to Shoji. Yet each of them were split on what to do. His sensei and teammates wanted to fight this new system, while Madoc simply wanted to wait for it to blow over. They argued over this before his team went one way and he went the other, instead he didn’t just wait it out he actually went back to his criminal actions. Using his new skills for his own benefit. Even using his clan’s techniques to his advantage, which was how he required both his Hatred’s Bite and Drakestooth. Which happened to a Hyuzu who was delivering the smithed goods he had made. Getting some intel on this delivery, Madoc scoped the pathway out and waited for hours for this man to arrive. Eventually he came with some guards to do their job but that was fine. He waited and followed in pursuit until it was finally time for them to camp for the night before finishing the journey the next day. As he waited for all the guards and the Hyuzu to go to sleep besides one guard who took first watch. Madoc would perform the Mind Body Switch technique of his clan on the guard and use him to swipe the goods. Having him take the goods only Madoc wanted which happened to be the two daggers and some valuables he could sell. He would have the guard move and drop the goods off in a random location, which was where his intel would wait to take once he had the guard go back to the others. This went off without a hitch and he and his accomplishes got out with all the goods. Taking the daggers for himself, he let his thief comrades take a majority of the valuables for their work, making sure that they all knew they never saw each other if they got caught later on. While he was doing this and using his skills for the wrong reason, the situation of the Shoji oppression was coming to an end at Magnhild. Where Shoji’s occupation would come to an end allowing the academy and the shinobi’s to resume their duty. Which meant Madoc would be back to work with his team… or so he thought. His team that he was on would have found their death in the defense of Magnhild, causing him to be placed on another team which was far from the best. In fact on their first mission two of them ended up messing up and getting killed. Causing the team to be only himself and his sensei. This situation would repeat itself with him surviving and new teammates after teammates ending up dying before the team was just disbanded altogether. Yet now he finds himself being placed yet again on another team, just wondering if this one would break like the last.

Name of Weapon or Item: Thief

Description: A curved dagger with a black hilt and even blacker blade. The first dagger he ever received. It’s primary use being to slit throats quickly and easily. That’s how it got the name Thief, the dagger that steals life.




Name of Weapon or Item: Hatred’s Bite

Description: A crimson red hilt and steel bladed dagger, it is what’s considered a sword breaker. His go to weapon when silently offing them isn’t an option, also if they have a sword.

Description: The second dagger he received. A dagger to cause damage and plenty of it. With a black blade, it has jagged edges to cause ripping damage as he pierces in and pulls out.







Name of Weapon or Item: Drakestooth

Description: A dagger stolen off a Hyuzu bringing his good to Konoha. He soon came to realize this dagger that had a green scale hilt had special properties, that his other daggers didn’t have. The blade resembles that of a dragon’s tooth and was made from Dragon steel, hence the name.
