Vessels of the Gods (IC)

In the early morning, before orientation began, Penny was in her dorm room getting ready. as it was considered the first day of school she made sure to wear her uniform. Pleated skirt, white shirt with the school's insignia on the chest, ironed to crisp perfection. Black knee high sock graced her legs, but she opted for comfortable sneakers instead of the typical Sunday church shoes. Penny stood in front of the mirror that was in her room. A video played on her phone that had a visual tutorial on how to tie a bow. She followed along, humming to herself. Today was the big day, and she was excited to get started, and maybe even a little nervous.

Yesterday's conversation with her roommate left her questioning what kind of things they would learn and what they would do to enhance their super powers. Penny told her roommate about her powers, which were nothing special. She could make flowers grow and bloom on command, and had a crazy good sense of smell, but other than that she didn't know if she had any other powers. It still didn't answer the question of who Penny was blessed by. Her father had made many guesses over the years but with the limited powers that she had it could have been a number of Gods from an assortment of religions. Hopefully, as the school year went on, Penny would be able to find out, or if not, be told by someone who knew. The video ended and Penny was left with a cute purple bow around her neck. Satisfied with he outcome she placed a black button up sweater on her shoulders and began to make her bed.

Tadashi couldn't sleep. The night before orientation, he was wide awake. A million and one thoughts racing through his head, about his new school, his parents. Nothing he usually did to stop it helped, so as the sun rose, so did he. Out of bed and out for a run at 4 in the morning. He needed a way to clear his mind, that was more effective than trying to reason with his chaotic rambling. The air in Greece was a lot warmer this time of year than in Seattle, Dashi had to opted for some thin jogger pants and a t-shirt. The school campus was pretty big, so he decided to keep his jog within the confines of its concrete pavements.

~~~~~~~~
The run only lasted for an hour, Tadashi still had to get ready for the first day. Making quick haste back to his dorm room. He made sure his steps were light and quite as to not disturb his roommate. He removed his shoes and socks, taking the uniform that hung from a hanger at the front of his closet door- he had ironed it the day before not wanting to look wrinkled during his first encounter with the other students. First impressions count in situations like this- Dashi shuffled to the bathroom. He made sure to keep the shower as short as possible, there was only so much he could do when he also had to wash-his hair tends to get very oily after he runs-and condition his hair.
The time came to put on his school uniform, it reminded him of the suits he'd have to wear at social outings with his parents. The final results looked nice, Tadashi had a really fit physique from all the kickboxing and running he does. the only thing that didn't sit well with him were the colors of uniform. Considering how beautiful the school was, he thought the uniforms would be equally as gorgeous. But something wasn't sitting well with him about purple and green as the primary colors of what he would be wearing for the next two years. None the less, he would have to deal with it like he did everything else in his life.
Jaun - Aztec Boy
Jaun did very little other than play Fortnite. He probably shouldn't have, but he stayed up until 11 which was his normal bedtime at this point. There wasn't much need to go to bed early since he was a rather light sleeper anyway even if his mom would call it bad sleep patterns. Jaun always laughed at that. He was fine, the only thing that would happen was that he had circles under his eyes and the whole looking like a mess thing. Jaun didn't really need to worry about that since he could just mend himself up anyway since it was just a skin blemish and he could just smooth out his skin with his weird magic.
Jaun didn't really like to think of himself as an edge load or an Emo. Jaun actually didn't like picking himself and spilling his blood on his face. In reality, though, the convenience of having a baby smooth face outweighed the discomfort the pricking brought so Jaun went through it anyway.
With a little prep (and a little pricking), Jaun dressed up in his dress shirt and khakis and made his way down to the Oriantion Hall. He woke up at around 6:20 so he had time to play one game before he got ready and headed down.
Rhu had woken up early enough that she wouldn't feel rushed getting ready, but not so obscenely early that she would have hours of waiting to do. Rhu had never been a morning person, but the excitement of the orientation and the school day gave her enough energy to do her morning routine quickly. She had been lucky enough to get a single room. Rhu was a messy person and it would have been awful if she had gotten a roommate who was a neat freak. She also wouldn't have the problem of having communication issues with someone she was living with. She pulled out the uniform. It was the first time she was getting a proper look at it. The colors were pretty, and it was delightfully easy to move around in despite the skirt. After getting dressed and brushing her teeth, she went down the cafeteria. the food was surprisingly good and she ate her breakfast on her own, looking around for any familiar faces. So far, the only people she knew were Laila and Aiden. If things went well today she'd hopefully be able to make some more friends.
