There's a plot I've been itching to try for a little time. It's the story of a person and a video game character that has gained sentience. The character is fed up with only being able to interact with anyone, including the player character, in a linear structure. I'm imagining that this irritation would stem from the player replaying the game over and over again, and the character, being a prominent figure of said game, is therefore forced to go through the exact same scenario over and over again, eventually making them numb to the events and fed up with the system.
