Each touch only brought the surreal closer.

The voice of one rings in the ears of another.
Every sound brings reminders.
Every sound evokes memories.


But yet;
It was the worst and it was the best.
Every kiss pulled us closer, which ended in nothing.
Each word had meaning, which was hidden.
Every heart played a tune, which was of denial.
Each touch was relief, which was superficial.
Every sound evokes memories, which was the downfall.

The feeling pulls at my heart.

The familiar warmth of love flows through me.
It's him that provokes it.
It's him my heart wants.
Yet he is unable to obtain it.

He is so close yet so far.
I can almost feel his lips against mine.
His body pushed in to mine.
Yet the emotion is not there.

How I yearn for his affections.
I would once like to be the girl he never wants to let go.
The girl he never regrets.
Many times that point has almost been reached.

At the last second everything is torn away.
I retreat back to being quiet.
My pain hidden by a fake smile.
Words hiding secret meanings.
How I wish things could be different…

The inspiration came from my teacher! He was talking about temperature pollution in water and that fish can't put on a sweater if it gets to cold sssoo I was like... FISH IN A SWEATER
