The guard made his way towards the prison after his talk with Simon holding the report in his hand. He expected to find Carmine there like he was told, but when he arrived at the prison the only one who wasn't behind bars was the light princess. The guard stopped and looked over towards her. Was this safe? To have her alone with the prisoners? What if this was their plan? Where was Carmine? Did they do something to him?

But the guard was a bit intimidated by being in front of royalty and he failed to speak up. Instead he looked over towards the prisoners. There was one with a wolf type animal, and he seemed to be pouting about something. Probably because he was in prison. Then, he noticed a glow, and he glanced over at who was causing it. His breath paused for a moment and his cheeks reddened. A beautiful young woman was behind the bars. She glowed like an angel. Her skin appeared pale and soft. Her hair long and white. Her eyes...

Such a wonderful woman shouldn't be in a prison! Without much thought the guard found the keys.

"I've been given orders to release the prisoners," he commented towards the princess.

Claudia looked over at the guard as he spoke. Where was Carmine? Had he gotten caught up by something, and he sent this guard to help them. Did that mean the King accepted her requests? Well, Claudia had no way of really knowing but the guard was already placing the keys into the lock. He unlocked Ria first, then went on to Kai.

But his attention stayed on Ria. "H-hi," he muttered to her like a love struck teenager. "Are you okay? Were you hurt any?"

Claudia cleared her throat. "I offered them something to eat," she commented towards the guard.

"Ah, yes, then I should escort you all to the dining room?" the guard said.

"That would be ideal." Claudia looked over towards Kai then at Ria and the guard. The guard failed to move for a moment, until he realized he should be and then lead the small group out of the prison and in the direction of the dining hall. Claudia followed just behind the guard, who seemed to be quite focused on Ria.

Turning her attention to the guard who was busy freeing them, Ria smiled in thanks, all too elated from accomplishing her goal to pay much attention to how easy it was to get out. Much less, his flushed face. Is this man running a fever? Her brows furrowed when she thought of how Kai didn't hold back on his blows before, inwardly scolding him for taking out his angst on someone who should be resting somewhere. When he asked of her condition, she felt even more guilty."I'm alright, thank you. Are you okay? Shouldn't you be resting?" She asked as she followed beside Princess Claudia on their way out.

Naturally, Kai had no problem with this progression and followed along silently. Although he found it very strange that they would only send one guard, he could only assume that they were low on staff. However, the guard's flustered gaze lingering on the glow stick made him feel somewhat uncomfortable. Did that guy have to be so obvious about it? "Hold up." Reaching out his hand, he grabbed onto Ria's arm and pulled her to a spot behind Claudia, taking the initiative to take over the leading position as if to ward off any danger. "If you want to serve her, serve her properly. What kind of servant walks beside their master?" After indifferently scolding Ria, he turned towards the guard, his face turning a tinge more frosty than when he was dealing with the glow stick before. "You better not try anything funny."

Eshira rolled her eyes a bit. The mortal was trying to tell her what to do now? She allowed him to keep a grip on her arm, but wasn't pleased one bit about it. She heard voices, and seeing a small thing such as herself easily rip away from him may raise questions.

"Look," She started, her voice returning to the serious tone from before. "You two are at relative peace right now. This makes certain beings very happy. That girl is creating tension between covens, and we cannot have that. If she dies, that little ripple is going to evolve. Word will spread of battles here, and good and evil will start fighting again the world over. If that happens, I'm afraid your coven might not survive a full attack like that. Especially with only me guarding you." She glanced down the hall, hearing more voices. She paused for a bit, trying to discern what was being said, but to no avail. Shaking her head, she returned to her explanation.

"I need her dead, but I need to be careful about how I do so. I don't exactly want her dead any more than I want any of you mortals dead. There's no glory in it for me, killing a human doesn't really give me bragging rights where I come from." Considering lack of people coming their way, Eshira took her arm from him with a huff. She gave him another stern look, walking past him again.

"Maybe if you're a good boy, I'll let you into some of the secrets around here. Things even you don't know about, your majesty." She gave a small laugh at that, obviously not thinking highly of the title.

"I'm sure you're not dumb enough to think this is who I really am. But for now, I have a job to do, and I'm not letting you get in the way. So if you come with, it would be best for you to *not* blow my cover. I don't know what these light coven fuckers are capable of, and I really don't need you helping them to see through me." She began walking down the hall again, before turning back to look at him, a wicked smile across her lips.

"Oh, and don't tell me what to do. Only two kinds of people get to tell me what to do, and you are neither." She turned to walk down the hall again, not really caring if he followed.

As she entered the dungeon area, she looked around, only to see it was empty. She glared a bit, but returned her facade to her cheerful state.

"Oh princess! Are you in here?" No response. She wandered around a bit, not seeing any sign of the princess or the light coven prisoners. Not to mention, a lack of any guards.

"SHIT!" She screamed, storming back the way she came. "You fucking stalled me, didn't you? I knew I should have just shoved past you, you prick." She yelled at Corbin, making her way out of the dungeon, muttering various curses under her breath. Once she was out, she ran a hand through her hair, taking a breath. Now she had to keep looking for the group, just when she thought she had them locked down. They must have went out a different way from the dungeon, which just made her even more angry.

Carmine
@KC @Tarieles

Where had Carmine gone? Well he got caught up. He found himself helping out with some of the maids while making his way back. Sometimes there was something too tall, too heavy, too hard to open, etcetera, etcetera. He was a kind soul, wishing to be seen as approachable, so he often would get caught up with minor tasks, helping people.

However, he made certain to finish up as quickly as he could. Not as fast as he would like, of course. But he finally headed back to the barracks, expecting to see the princess, and her associates waiting for her, unaware of the fact that they had already left, and were making their way to the dining hall.

He was greeted by the sound of someone yelling down in the holding cells. He ran down as quickly as he could, fearing the worst. While it wasn't as bad as he expected, it wasn't good either. There he was facing Corbin, and Eshira. They were both here, and that could only mean one thing: They knew that there were more here.

"M-M'lord. Hello, what brings you here today?"

He quickly regained his composure, hoping to keep a sense of simple duty, and nothing more. And then he remembered. The reports. Thankfully Corbin had been gone until today. Perhaps he didn't know anything about what had happened. Eshira on the other hand, she is a bit more... Unpredicatble

Valerie could only sigh. It its true that with the light coven princess studying dark arts, she'll be easy to corrupt but still the blonde couldn't shake the feeling of mistrust. She firmly believes that a light coven will never turn dark. Besides, how can she trust the princess especially now that there are light coven intruders with her? The blonde let out a sigh once again before her blue eyes wandered to Dev. It was a bit heart warming to see him feeding the imp. "It seems he likes you"she commented with a warm smile "and the imp likes you as well"

Her stomach then grumbled, remembering that she haven't eaten yet. "Ah, it seems that's my cue" she told Dev "I better visit the dining hall. Would you like to join me?" Whether Dev joined her or not, Valerie made her way to the dining hall and immediately called for the maids.

"Oh Faln!" She called upon seeing her "How are you, dearie? Could I have some breakfast please? Oh and where's everyone? Chasing the princess?"

"Light Coven brat??" Jenny was shocked by Valerie's tone. "I thought we had agreed to welcome her? Besides, I'm starting to see something I hadn't before- even with all our powers, there are some things that Light is simply better at than Dark. A good coven should be well-rounded, and with her knowledge, we will be much stronger than we ever could be without her." The necromancer sighed as Valerie left. I just hope she listened.

Corbin was often called many things but stupid he was not, listening to Eshira explain the threats of war between good and evil. War was inevitable in Corbins opinion, humans were fickle and supernatural beings quite often became the same in their manipulation of beings they deemed lesser. The fact that Eshira was so concerned about the survival of the coven was an admirable quality but Corbin suspected that there was far more to the story than he had access to at that moment in time. Not having that information was another obstacle he intended to overcome, even if Eshira was intent on making things difficult for him.

"You make little sense Eshira, you want the girl to die but won't hurt a hair on her head for fear of repercussion upon this house, and I know there are secrets that will reveal your intentions." Corbin told her though raised a brow when she detailed her current plans and followed up with a further warning. It amused him as he watched her

"Perhaps at some point we will talk more on secrets." He mused as he watched her disappear towards the dungeons and soon turned back to his task of tracking down Carmine. It was short lived as he heard Eshira's scream echoing down the halls and Corbin frowned. Had Eshira already known where the princess had been? Had she kept that information to herself for a particular reason?

The corner of his eye had caught a glimpse of an approaching figure though he had paid much more attention to Eshira who threw out the accusation of stalling her. He grew dark as he turned back to face the woman who was now headed back his way. He would remember her words well as he inhaled, a sneer spreading over his face until Carmine's voice broke the building tension.

Turning to view Carmine who seemed a little nervous, Corbin's sneer remained as he watched the man regain composure and swap glances with both Eshira and himself.

"Ahh Lieutenant ever the dutiful soldier," He announced as he locked eye contact with Carmine, determined to find the princess.

"Where is she Carmine, I have no doubt the king charged you with protecting her."

claudia-banner-2-png.147850

Alright? Him? The guard was more than alright. He just met an angel. No, a goddess. Such a beautiful amazing young woman. "Resting? No, miss, I'm just fine," he commented as he smiled at her. But before the guard could speak again, the other prisoner took hold of Ria's arm and pulled her behind the princess. Kai came forward and gave the guard a look, speaking to him briefly that caught the guard off guard. "Anything funny, I would never."

Claudia was also slightly surprised by this action as Ria was placed just behind her. "There's no need for you to walk behind me," Claudia offered despite Kai's comment about a servant not walking beside their master. Claudia still didn't know these two yet, so she especially wasn't going to force Ria to treat her as a master like that even if Ria wanted that.

The group entered the castle as they headed back for the dinning room where Claudia had been earlier that day. They arrived just in time as food for lunch was being prepared. "Come and gave a seat. We will get you all some food," she commented to Kai and Ria. "And what does your friend like to eat?" She motioned over towards Sarai, unsure what she might eat.

Claudia called for one of the maids to bring them some food as she offered them all a place to sit at the table, then took her own seat. She glanced over at the guard, wondering if he would need to stay or whether or not Carmine would eventually arrive again.

Carmine
@KC

He wanted to see the princess. And if he saw the princess, he'd see the intruders. If merely the princess' presence was enough to cause him to send him into a violent tantrum, Carmine could only imagine what would happen if he heard of the two new trespassers were given "diplomatic immunity." Why no one in the castle would be safe. In fact, it might have been for the best, that Carmine did not know where they ran off to.

He looked back at the prince. He was massive, standing a few inches taller than him, looking down into his eyes. Carmine was not afraid of him. At least not for his own safety. You don't become captain of the guard without being a formidable combatant. However, many of the others here at Castle Blackmore were scholars, and nothing more. Excellent mages in their own right, but not enough to take on the prince of the they serve under.

"I'm sorry m'lord, but I don't know where she went. I had left her with another guard, but it seems he has taken off with her. I don't know where to though."

He spoke plainly. After all, it was the truth. He simply left out part of the story.

Just then, one of the other guards came down and said to Carmine,

"Sir, one of the other guards told me to inform you that the princess and the others were being escorted to the dining hall."

Carmine was silent. After taking a deep breath, he turned to Corbin.

"Well, I guess I do know where she is."

Faln was left in the kitchen with half finished eggs benedict.

"Why he could have at least had the decency to eat before heading off to satisfy his bloodlust. The nerve of that brat."

With the prince gone, however, many of the servants began slowly making their way into the kitchen once again. With her team assembled, she could get started on lunch. Lunch was an array of tea-sandwiches, and Yorkshire pudding. With the meal simple, and quick to make, it wasn't long until towers of sandwiches lined the tables. Due to how easy lunch was, Faln could focus her efforts on brewing tea, something that she took very seriously. By the time she had finished, and stepped out into the dining room. She was greeted by Valerie, who asked for breakfast.

"Under most circumstances, I'd tell you no, and that you should have been here during breakfast time. However, I did happen to make some not too long ago, before the brute ran off, chasing the princess, as you said."

She walked back and took out the hollandaise sauce from before. But she was so unhappy serving leftovers, that she made some fresh eggs and muffin for them. In about five or so minutes, she appeared with a plate of fresh eggs benedict, handing them to Valerie where she sat.

"Enjoy. Rather not let these to to waste. Don't expect me to bend to your every whim now."

The irony was lost on her.

It was then that she noticed the entrance of the princess and two others. She had never seen them before, and one of them seemed quite clearly from the light coven. Faln pressed her fingers to her temple and massaged them a bit. She could already imagine what the prince would do. It would be disastrous.

"I really hope Corbin doesn't find out about this..."

She turned to the who was accompanying the new arrivals.

"Where's the Lieutenant?"

"I believe he would have returned to the barracks by now ma'am."

"Well then I think it would be best that he stay away right now. I would rather not have the prince showing up right now."

"N-no, he's correct, Princess. Forgive me for my transgression." Ria answered with her head lowered submissively, her fingers entwined on her lap. Recalling her place, she quietly followed along, only reluctantly taking a seat once it was offered to her. She chose to sit to Claudia's right and waited for lunch in silence. However, her eyes were less than still as they darted around, studying everything with unbridled curiosity.

Kei on the other hand, followed the guard casually. Despite his outward calm facade, he was actually fairly alert. He surveyed his surroundings, keeping all noticeable escape routes in mind the deeper they went into the palace. When they arrived at the dining hall, he took a seat beside Ria, showing his wariness of the princess and the feeling of lacking restraint himself. With his hunger nagging at him constantly, sitting beside the princess would be rather dangerous for both parties.

In an attempt to distract himself, he absentmindedly played with his spatial ring. His languid movements betraying the discomfort he felt from being surrounded and hungry. If anything were to go awry, he'd definitely be in trouble. Lost in his thoughts, he almost missed Princess Claudia's question. "Sarai? She consumes many things. Something everyone has yet not everyone uses to their full potential. You don't need to worry about her, she gets her own food from me as she needs it. What do they even serve here?"

The blonde witch didn't need to hear Faln's response for it was quite obvious that the female was having a bad day. Valerie could see it from her movements but listened anyway. After all, it would be rude not to. Besides, it wouldn't be ideal to make Faln mad. Who knows what she'll do to her food? "Ah, I see. So the prince was here? My, my. It seems things are starting to get interesting"

And things did get interesting indeed! As she sat on her seat with the food now served, the light coven intruders entered the dining hall with the goody two shoes in tow. For a moment she watched them, not liking how the light coven princess felt comfortable and at home. Valerie found it deeply irritating! Perhaps its how the princess orders the maid? Or maybe its because Valerie just hated the idea of the princess staying?

Whatever she's feeling right now, Valerie didn't like it. She wanted to just walk up to her and tell her vile things but she can't do that! Not with the intruders around! With a sigh, Valerie thought of something that almost shocked her: what if she became their friend? It wouldn't be ideal nor easy but it might work. After all, the age old saying keep your friends close and your enemies closer had been proven a couple of times. It wouldn't hurt to try, right?

The blonde witch took a deep breath and stood up before making her way to the trio with a smile. She mad sure to bring her plate with her as well as take a seat opposite to the princess. "Hey!" She greeted the trio with her signature sickly sweet smile, her blue eyes staring at Ria. "It seems you finally found what your looking for, Ria. Oh and your companion is finally awake! I take it you had quite the adventure since the last time we saw each other?~"

Her gaze darted from Ria and to the guard, before a smirk formed into her soft pink lips. She didn't need to be a genius to know what's happening. She then soley focused her attention to the princess "You must be the light coven princess I keep hearing about. You're quite the celebrity around here you, know? Everyone talking about you and wanting to catch a glimpse of you"

"I saw you in the library with Jenny and I didn't get the chance to introduce nyself. Anyway, I'm Valerie. I specializes in hexes and curses."

"Oh and I've been itching to ask this!"
She said to the trio, her blue eyes immediately glistening with mischief "I wonder how you escaped Carmine! Did he let you three waltz around the castle with just a guard by your side? Tsk tsk. Knowing him, I'm sure that's not it."

"So tell me, what have you three been up to?"

Simon just rolled his eyes, listening to this new person. Izor he called himself didn't appear to be the most sane. "He should fit in nicely then" Simon thought to himself. If one could see under his mask, their would be the slightest smirk.

Izor mentioned he dabbled in potions. This did peak Simons interest. He reached into a small pouch on his belt and pulled out his nonlethal, yet very unpleasant poison and handed it to Izor. Simon wasn't worried about Izor turning it against him, as this was Simon's own concoction and something Simon has built up an immunity towards.

"I'll give you a day to tell me what this does, if you can I will believe you are of worth to the coven."

However Simon knew that the decision to accept a new member was not his alone, and moved into the castle.

"Come along, you'll need to talk to others as well."

Wandering a little ways into the castle corridors he somehow luckily found two of the most powerful people in the coven.

"Lieutenant and Corbin, do you have a minute?"

Transgression? Claudia saw no harm in having the girl walk beside her, but she would let Ria do what she wanted. After all, they were new to each other so perhaps in time as they got to know each other better, Ria would feel more comfortable.

"Ah, I see," the light coven princess replied when Kai explained that she didn't need to worry about what his wolf companion needed to eat. Well, at least that meant that there wasn't even another mouth to feed. Everyone in the castle was already going to be annoyed enough to just have more light coven members now roaming around. No doubt it was going to cause some trouble with certain members of the dark coven.

The maids served some food for them all, and Claudia motioned for Ria and Kai to take the food items they wanted and enjoy their food.

But Claudia was surprised by the extreme friendliness of this other member of the dark coven that she was meeting for the first time. She seemed to be overly excited to meet the princess. "Yes," she replied. "It does seem that way. My name has been going around here a lot fairly quickly."

Why wouldn't she be the talk of the castle though? She was the light coven princess in the dark coven's castle. Even she could understand that it was controversial and most likely the most important thing to have happen in a long while.

"It is nice to meet you Valerie."
It seemed that this one already knew Ria and Kai to some extent, though Claudia didn't know why.

"I was told by the guard who came to let them out that Carmine had given him orders to release them," Claudia admitted. She had no idea what had happened to Carmine, which was why she was glad when the guard answered Faln's question. "He went to discuss Ria, Kai, and Sarai's stay at this castle for now, but he never came back himself. I assume he was caught up in other business and sent the guard to assist us."

As for what they had been up to, Claudia wasn't quite sure how to answer that. It wasn't like she was doing anything, and Ria and Kai had been imprisoned until they were just let out. So, what could they really be doing?

"I suppose just still getting acquainted with the castle and it's people. And having a few more members of the light coven suddenly arrive unexpectedly."

"Food time! Food time!"

Tiresias jolted awake at the screech next to his skull, his breath catching and his hands flying up to protect his face. It was an instinctual reaction. Of course, his bones whacked the metal side of his desk and his waking terror was transformed into a distinctly inhuman growl of pain and frustration. "Owwwwwww...." His eyesockets opened, his eyelights glowing brightly due to the spook he'd gotten from the bird who was switching back and forth between maniacle laughter and muttering food time under its breath like it was some sort of villain. "You're a real prick, you know that, right?" After sending a sharp glare at the feathered menace known as Steve, his glowing eyelights scanned his surroundings.

Above him was the underside of his desk. Around him papers of varying importance were scattered, simply littered about like confetti on the streets of New York City on New Year's Eve. Food wrappers were strewn through it all as well, and tossed over in the far corner of the lab was an empty box of Cosmic Brownies. "Steve, we're out of junk food." There was a note of true sadness to his voice as the little skeleton moped underneath his desk for all of thirty seconds. "Aw man, this means we have to re-enter society."

"Sucks to suck."

Tiresias leveled another glare at the parrot. "You know, I could just eat you." He growled and quickly launched himself at the bird.

Steve let out a screech of alarm and quickly took off in a flurry of feathers, some papers kicked up in his wake. "I'm not a chicken! I'm not a chicken!" He called out as he flew up and landed on top of one of the storage cabinets, safely out of reach from the short skeleton. "Sucks to suck, sucks to suck!" He followed it with another maniacle laugh.

"Ya know what? I don't care anymore. I don't. You don't even have enough calories on ya to make ya worth the effort." Tiresias huffed. "Let's go eat some real food, yeah?"

"Food time!"

Tiresias gave himself a once over. White polo with purple sharks on it? Little wrinkled, but good enough. Did he have on pants? Yes. Excellent.

"To the dining hall!" He declared with rapidly fading enthusiasm as he opened up the door. "Do we have to? We were only like three trials away from conclusive evidence in the casting pro-" Tiresias cut himself off when he felt his parrot land on his shoulder.

A side glance proved that Steve was staring at him with his big golden yellow eyes. "Food. Time."

And with that Tiresias made his way to the dining hall with great care to avoid halls that sounded vaguely like a couple of demons PMSing. He heard voices in the dining hall as he approached, and pulled a grimace. Ugh, people. Swallowing down his bitterness, he put on his typical grin as he strode into the room. "Morning everyone. What did I miss over the past week of me camping out in the lab- oh, new people." Over the course of his dialogue, he'd only been eyeing the food at the table. Only once he was seated did he notice the three new faces sitting across from him. His grin turned slightly sheepish.

"Valerie~! Yes, we definitely found her. Thank you for that cupcake earlier~" Completely oblivious to the fact that Valerie had been the source of that dizzy spell earlier, Ria greeted her warmly, her smile genuine and devoid of any suspicion. Had Kai heard this tidbit, he would have definitely smacked Ria upside the head. Who accepts weird food from strangers? Especially these strangers. The girl was just lucky that she didn't get poisoned and suffered a fate worse than death.

Unfortunately Kai had no time to pay attention to the others. His heightened senses could smell food from quite a distance. In his current state, his attention was completely focused on the door, waiting for the maids to arrive. He completely missed Valerie's introduction, including the fact that she specialized in hexes and curses. Had he heard that one point, he would have definitely kept in mind to never remain in the same room as her. Just what kind of person would dabble in those two subjects? Only those in the dark coven could answer that.

When the maids finally arrived, Kai didn't even need to wait for Claudia to say the word. The moment the maids placed the food down, he dove straight in, fueled by his ravenous hunger. He was a fast eater, cramming anything and everything edible into his mouth. If he could unhinge his jaw at this moment, he definitely would have. Although he was fast, be was by no means sloppy. Each movement was agile and precise, honed through years of hunting. With the danger of being taken by surprise at any moment, he had always made his meals short. At his speed, he ate what probably took hours to prepare in a matter of minutes. With his hunger sated, he turned his attention back to the situation at hand, finally noticing Valerie's existence.

Before he could raise any questions, another person? entered the hall. Compared to Valerie who was at least human, the skeleton put him on edge. Scorn filled eyes never left the thing's figure. Ria on the other hand, exclaimed in surprise. "Ah!" Swallowing down the piece of bread she had just recently stuffed into her mouth, she leaned forward, her eyes focused on the strange bird on the skeleton's shoulder. "What is this? It's so cute!" With her excitement, her glow also intensified as she looked at the parrot with unrestrained curiosity and affection. She wanted to pet it but wasn't sure if it would be inappropriate to ask. The girl had clearly not seen much of the world. After a moment's pause, she finally noticed the skeleton on which the bird had chosen to perch on. Oh, hello. I'm Etheria. You can call me Ria. The gentleman beside me is Kai. He's quiet. I don't think he knows how to make frien-OW!"

Before she could finish her sentence, Kai pinched her arm to quiet her. It seemed to have had some effect as Ria picked another piece of bread and stuffed it into her mouth. Her eyes however remained on the bird.

Tiresias thoroughly ignored the scornful glare that came from the brunette in favor of stuffing his own face. He'd started off small, with just a sandwich, but once that food quite literally disappeared behind his skeletal grin, he realized that Cosmic Brownies held next to no nutritional value and decided to make up for his lost week of food right then and there. At least, he had that intention. His nonexistent stomach was tiny though and his quick eating had done wonders to fill it up. "This is Steve, he's a grey parrot. I've been teaching him some manners since I adopted him, but he likes his current vocabulary list."

Steve the parrot had not missed a single thing while Tiresias had been eating. "He's perfectly friendly." As if on cue, the bird flew from his shoulder in a wide arc around the table, steering clear from flying over anyone's food. Because yes, the parrot had manners.

The bird lightly landed on Ria's shoulder. "Nice girl, very pretty girl!" He stated as he very gently nuzzled her cheek. Tiresias watched with a rather stoic expression, not sure what game his partner in crime was playing. Steve stared over at the skeleton and bobbed his head, raising one foot to point at him with. "Forever alone, needs nice girl!"

Tiresias nearly choked on air, a very faint pink color staining his zygomatic arches. "Steve! No! Bad bird!" An evil laugh sounded from the bird, and he took flight once more, before landing on the table in front of friendless Kai. The skeleton watched with an edge of caution in his eyelights, his grin obviously a bit strained. He had no clue what that featherbrain was about to do, and considering that he'd either have to run around either side of the table or flat out dive across to get to the bird, Tiresias was at the parrot's mercy. And he knew that he was about to eat his words.

"Hello." Steve stated, staring up at Kai with his eerie golden eyes. He bobbed his head back towards the skeleton before speaking again. "Tiresias very nice, very good." He started, and a glance back at said skeleton would reveal a completely bewildered expression on his face. Since when did the bird decide to defend his character? "You, not so much." Tiresias' eyelights glowed brightly in surprise when Steve perfectly mimicked his voice. He also noticed his bird puffing up his feathers. "Mind your fucking manners!" Steve screeched at Kai, before quickly flying back to safety on Tiresias' shoulder.

The skeleton grinned apologetically at Kai. "Maybe not as perfect as you'd think, but I'm biased." He admitted with a small chuckle.

Izor was ecstatic when he was offered the potion. His attention immediately went to it as he followed along. He kept turning it one way and another as he stared at the liquid. He would need some kind of test subject.. He could see about getting the necessary materials to try and separate the concoction in a way to figure out what the ingredients were. Though that could take a bit of time. He could just use himself like he has been, but if its lethal then that wouldn't do. He'd need to go and trap some animals to first test it and record their reactions. It'd be harmless. Unless it was lethal then it would not be. Hm, hopefully they wouldn't be put off by random dead animals. As he thought to himself he's mutter under his breath. "No...Too big......Possible?..." His face would change from thoughtful to disgruntled to happy. It seemed to stick on happy as he started to have a bounce in his step. The first place to not question him entirely and even give him a potion to figure out! Nicest place he's been so far! So welcoming and even giving gifts instead of weird looks and telling you to get lost.

He wondered if any of the other inhabitants of this castle enjoys potions or doing experiments. He quickly got caught up in thoughts of learning and wonders that once his companion talked again he almost jumped at the sudden noise. Noticing there was more people that he was talking to he smiled at them. "Hello! Do you know of the areas were very few people go but there is an abundant of animals?" he asked excitedly. What he wouldn't give for some workspace to start on his testing, well he wouldn't give a lot of things on him and that's all he has.

Carmine
@Thefishwithagift @Canadian Cat

Carmine was prepared for the fervor of the prince, but was thankfully interrupted by Simon, and a new face within the castle walls. He quickly left the Prince's side, and addressed the pair who had just entered.

"Yes Simon, and hello to you. I am Lieutenant Carmine Richelieu. But you may just call me Carmine. You're a stranger to the walls of this castle, I see. If you wish to see the castle, I would be glad to escort you. As for a quiet, out of the way place that is also filled with animals, I can not say we have one. That is unless you like spending your time with the horses."

"Ah, I see" was Valerie's reply, sweet smile still on her lips. "Well, if you ever need anything and I mean anything at all, don't hesitate to ask me okay? After all, I'd like to get to know you better!"

At the mention of the cupcake from Ria, the blonde witch smiled even more. She can't believe that the light coven servant didn't notice that she placed a spell on the food. Not that I blame her. Right from the moment I saw her I sensed that she's an airhead And she wished she can say the same about the light coven male. If she remembers correctly, the first time she saw him was he was unconscious so she haven't really got to chance to study him.

She wrinkled her face in disgust as her icy blue eyes watched the male. He was eating the food so fast that for a second Valerie hoped he would choke to death. What a pig. I guess light coven people really are not that prim and proper after all. Well, I guess that's another reason for me to hate them~

Just then someone entered the dining hall and immediately Valerie smiled genuinely. It was Tiresias and Steve! Immediately the blonde had to contain herself from running towards the skeleton and glomping him into hugs. She had to keep her composure and made her way elegantly towards him "Tiresias, dear!" she greeted with a genuine smile "I cannot believe you didn't inform me about your arrival! How are you, dear? And how are you Steve?"

Valerie didn't get the chance to hear whatever Steve's answer was for it flew away and started talking to the light covens, especially to Ria and Kai. She couldn't help but click her tongue and glare. Sometimes she hated that bird "Never mind. It seems Steve is doing okay. Lively as ever."

Simon Methuselah
--
Simon was grateful for the lieutenant for stepping in as well. Simon was never very good with dealing with people, especially new ones. As Carmine mentioned the horses Simon's eyes darted towards the new person but quickly returned. "This person wants a little more than just a tour, it appears he's looking for a place of work." he explained to the Lieutenant.

Simon's attention towards the aforementioned person. "Why don't you tell Lieutenant Carmine what you told me at the gates?"
