- Marcus Blackwood, Blood-Crazed Berserker, "Calm" - Hellish Tower Block, Elevator -
Evidently, Ash had wandered into something he shouldn't have, for he closed the door in a less bombastic fashion than he had opened it. One could only assume he had met an army of these demons with numbers too great for them to defeat. Ash instead decided they should take the elevator and after three minutes had passed since he called it, the doors opened: It was unlike the elevators Marcus had used to ascend and descend particular areas of Yharnam and beyond, with it lacking a pressure plate and, of course, the large lever to summon it for instead it had a simple button. Still, it would serve its purpose, despite the problems with stuffing seven people, including those like Marcus with large weaponry and stronger, larger bodies.
There would be no time for debate, as an explosion rumbled through the entire tower, Ash hurriedly warned that they needed to leave now in his own way, with everyone complying in short order, narrowly squeezing into the elevator. Marcus wasn't particularly comfortable in his current position if he was honest, but he knew it could be worse for him, the other Marcus and everyone present, so he didn't raise a complaint, merely shifting as one naturally would to try and get more comfortable.
Ash made a reasonable suggestion in telling Marcus to hoist his currently equipped weapon over his head and thus he did: Taking his currently inactive/un-tricked Blood Saw Blade from his back as carefully as he could and balancing it upon his head, keeping both hands upon the weapon so it didn't fall. "I'd agree, Alicia, but I fear the worst is yet to come. Heed Ash's words and stick together, it's the best we can do. Most of all; Don't panic...that goes to you all. Whatever caused that explosion must be powerful and fearsome, so steel yourselves." Marcus spoke to all present after directly addressing Alicia, keeping his head still as he counted the seconds until the elevator was done descending.
- The Doom Marine/Doom Slayer - Streets, Outside the Tower -
The Spider Man was still unsure how to speak to the Doom Marine, who holstered his Assault Rifle, though in a way, he still approved of his efficacy, albeit hesitantly with a shaken thumbs up: An easily recognizable gesture by the Slayer, who figured Spidey's world must've been similar to his own, maybe with less demons, though Spiderman's subsequent moment of reminiscence made him wonder. Once more, he attempted to begin introductions with the Doom Marine and Mitsuru, but yet again he was interrupted this time by a much larger, more mighty creature than a Baron of Hell can even dream of being.
Initially, the Slayer braced to fight as he turned to face the window, but fortunately he decided against it. The monster was in flight and this building was precarious and vulnerable, not to mention the great power it seemed to possess and demonstrated swiftly, as if to answer his questions immediately on how strong it was: The dragon-demon thing breathed fire, forcing action to be taken...by the Spider Man, who dove out of the window, sending webs from his wrists toward Mitsuru and the Marine, dragging them out along with him.
The heavier Doom Marine would land first in a three-point landing, tearing the web off of his armour with his free hand, then he would motion to catch Mitsuru. If she needed it, he would do so and set her down, brushing dust off her shoulder nonchalantly. If she didn't, he would still clear her shoulder and nod at her, but either would lead to him walking to Spiderman, pulling at his right forearm armour as to straighten it and flex his right hand slowly, cracking the joints...and patting him lightly on the shoulder with his left hand, or as lightly as the Doom Slayer could, deciding to give him a thumbs up with the free hand when his attention was gathered.
