It was probably the most satisfying thing to have her feelings returned and for it to mean so much more than physical attraction. Before she always felt like she was assuming or basing her responses to him based off of what she believed to be true, but never confirmed. There was always that little seed of doubt constantly whispering in her ear. Now that voice could finally be put to rest. This feeling made everything else feel that much sweeter. it amplified practically everything else. From the jokes he made that brought the cheesiest of grins to her face, or the fluttering of her heartbeat when he pressed his lips against the back of her hand, she soaked up all these memories like a sponge, savouring every moment and making sure to remember each thing so that one day they could be added as some of her most treasured, and important moments that happened in her life.
Hagen began to run his hand gently through her long silver locks, humming to himself as he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, "Perhaps", he said gently before leaning down to plant a soft kiss on her forehead. This was his response to her earlier question of leaving this alleyway. He then quickly, but smoothly took her lips, greedily, once more, leaving the fair-haired maiden breathless in his arms. "We would not want your men to send the search party after you now, would we?", he chuckled as he teased her. Hagen was fully aware of the little schemes that she used against those assigned to watch over her. "And you know, I do not have a damn clue who he is, but whoever you ditched to get to here, I truly feel bad for him." Kaylee scoffed rolling her eyes and crossing her arms across her chest, "That is no matter. It's not my fault they didn't train the poor lamb correctly. Edmund was his name, looked as innocent as a newborn fawn. It must've been some sort of joke for them to assign him as my guardian. That or I'm some rite of passage now." Kaylee shook her head dismissing the notion, "Whatever it may be it is of no concern to me."
"On the other hand," Hagen continued while placing his hand on the small of her back and guiding her out of the alleyway, "I needed this, so he'll just have to handle it", he said as he flashed a wide grin in her direction. A soft chuckle came from Kaylee in response, "It wasn't like I left him with much of a choice otherwise." As the pair stepped out into the streets Kaylee could see it was still just as crowded as she had left it before ditching her guardian. Glancing over to Hagen, he held out his arm to her and proceeded to boast in the most ridiculous, and dramatic of manners, "Care to join me for a walk, Lady Lannister?" Referring to her with her proper title which only caused the woman to shake her head in disbelief, "I will be more than happy to escort you to your residence safe and sound" Kaylee took his arm and walked with him through the busy market streets, "Oh, not scared I'll pull a disappearing act on you too? I'm not sure if that's brave or naive," she jested as she related her joke back to her leaving her guardian, Edmund today.
"You're right, however, I should be returning back to the manor. Maya might have my head if I'm late to the summit meeting. I don't even want to think what Visenya would do to me either." Kaylee said as she got a sudden chill, despite the warm weather in the new King's Landing. Her cousin was someone she didn't want to tempt fate with too much. Both were scarily strong independent women, but Vis was in a whole other category all to her own. Still, her younger cousin loved her all the same. Thinking of her more as a sister than a cousin anyway. "By the way, are you planning to stay on your ship for the duration of your stay here or do you have some other place in mind?" Kaylee asked curiously as the pair made their way down the crowded streets.
