Samuel spent the whole way there questioning why he had agreed to this and at the same time being slightly excited to be doing something out of the ordinary that he had agreed to do for once.
The home wasn't really anything out of the ordinary and it wasn't until they had gotten into Romans room Samuel got more interested in looking around.
"I'm not picky," Samuel answered the question absentmindedly as he took in his surroundings. He wasn't sure what he had expected Romans room to be like, but somehow he also didn't expect anything else, "Just go with whatever"
He continued to look around, the thing that stood out was probably the lack of anything too colourful, and Samuel briefly wondered if the room didn't gloomy to be in due to it.
"I like your choice of colour" he joked, all the black made his own simple red T-shirt stand out in contrast, unlike roman who's dark attire blended in with his own room nicely. He caught a glimpse of the ceiling. It was cool but also possibly a little too much for his taste, "Did you paint the ceiling?"
He already knew the guy could paint, really well, and had he not known people generally didn't wallpaper their ceilings he probably would have just assumed that was the case. So he just decided to ask rather than to dwell on it and casually walked over to the bookshelf as he waited for an answer.
Getting to know what people liked to read or watch always was pretty interesting, and most people he hung out with didn't really read much so he had to admit it was nice to see that someone else had actual books in their bookshelves.
